Just because you create art doesn't mean you can transfer to all types of art. I am an Illustration major and can't do Graphic Design for shit. A lot of Graphic Designers cannot draw/paint traditionally as well, so they hire Illustrators. All of it is still an art form, but it is difficult to excel at all forms of art. If you can, you are a rare unicorn and props to you!
