those guys are complaining about seat height don't know much about adventure bikes.... if you really care about seat height why go for adventure bike go for mid segment cruiser bike where seat height doesn't matter
Because the average height of Indians is around 5.5". The Himalayan is also an adventure bike with low seat height and fantastic long travel suspension along with Ktm who also has a low seat height variant of current 390 adv. So this perspective of all must have tall seats only is a bit narrow and limited.
Cause it matters? Your average indian dude is not as tall as the europeans and we have much more cramped traffic and uneven surfaces on our roads than them. And there is a limit to how much one can push oneself to ride with half a foot on our traffic with a passenger, let alone offroad.
The weight is a bummer but sort of expected with all the features it brings i guess. If they'd done mid 170's, that would've been the sweet spot. Also if it is 3.5ex, ill pick it up gor sure. I hope the akra and other cool accessories make it to India.

Whatever Plastic body with an underbelly exhaust system and narrow seat plus Tube tires doesn't do any justice for touring... Maybe for some weekend rides
Man, its heavy enough to withstand winds if you're concerned about that. Idk why y'all are so pressed about the fairings being plastic, it helps keep the weight manageable.

Different bikes for different purposes. Despite what people say, the 450 is a travel bike, this is designed for harder off road adventures.
