- Written during his first year of his voluntary exile from Russia, this set of pieces are nostalgic and childlike, and much more simple than his other works. They are often regarded as children music, and is one of the most technically accessible pieces by Prokofiev.

Super fine!
Great❤
Prokofiev sought out the advice of Nikolai Medtner for these. Medtner’s wife, Anna, was quite surprised at how cordial Medtner was to Prokofiev, as Medtner was no fan of Prokofiev’s music - he once quipped, “If that’s music, I am no musician.” Anyway, Prokofiev was rather enamored of Medtner’s music, and the influence of Medtner in these pieces is clear.

god this is so nitpicky but it lowkey bothers me how they play the quintuplets at 4:13 wrong
Did Prokofiev necessarily want them to be perfectly even? Hard to say, I just don't like the atmosphere of this playing and prefer Sofronitsky
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
I will remake some of my older videos.
