I'm an experienced seamstress but I've only ever made 1little baby quilt a few years ago. It turned out ok.
I have a collection of fabrics and I've decided to make two lap quilts this summer. One of the fabrics has large images. I've been searching for a pattern that will be great with the fabric and easy enough for a newbie.
I think I've found it!!! This image just drew me in and I fell in love with it. I think I understand all the steps. I just wonder, can the strips be cut smaller so there's less waste? I've always been one to keep scraps to a minimum.

This.method of patch we waste a.lot of meterial .in american method of you you not waste meterial and also when make a cusion or quilt you donot make too much bulk.
Where do you see a lot of bulk? I already made quite some quilts, and some of them had way more seams coming together in one place.
I sew this without any waste...and also you can sew it with your scrap fabrics for triangle part
I find it disconcerting with no speech and makes difficult to follow
