Ruidoso’s Deadly Wildfires Under Investigation

EPISODE #144: It has become one crisis after another for the Village of Ruidoso lately. Within hours of the South Fork and Salt Fires sparking, the entire village was under evacuation as the fire quickly spread to homes and businesses. At least two people were killed in the wildfire, around 1,400 structures were burned, and the feds are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of person(s) responsible for the fires. This week, Chris & Gabby talk to a 74-year-old veteran who lost his home in the wildfire and stayed behind to help family and neighbors save theirs.

There must have been threats made by someone that prompted the Mescalero Fire Dept. to notify Feds, right? What/Who was the threat that they were concerned about? Why isn't the person that was concerned about an arsonist interviewed for this report?

There was no mention about the salt that was poured on the wound.....the flooding that has happened has complicated travel and hit mobile homes that were not hit by the fire....these poor people now arr dealing with mud slides and water damage. However, the silver lining is that they are working together with surrounding communities and to stand again with positive attitudes and prayers for each other.

Hopefully the expos are going to find out what caused it for. They still trying to figure that out.

They released a report today saying that it was lightning. No human cause whatsoever.
I'm not buying it.
