We’re towing our 294Rk with a 2023 F2250 Diesel. We averaged 10.5-11mpg towing about 2500 miles. The truck handled the weight well and we are well under our payload of 3050 pounds. Considering the amount of travel you do, I’d get a diesel. You’ll be happy with the Engine Brake you get on mountains. Also, Iff you get a diesel, you can put in a larger fuel tank. We changed our tank out to a 60 gallon S^B tank and we can go about 300 miles while towing before we get to half a tank. Without towing we can go 1200-1300 miles on a single tank

Thank you for watching our tour video, a dishwasher would be nice but they are typically too heavy for this type of RV and they aren’t residential size, we’ve seen some RV dishwashers hold a couple of plates, cups, silverware, basically a setting for two.

Wonderful upgrades! We bought a 292RL end of 2023 and love it - only upgraded to CRE3000. We love it - towed Texas to Florida and back zero issues.
We use a SRW 2022 GMC AT4 3500 standard bed. More payload than needed, but we keep a lot of stuff in bed.
The 292RL pulled great - bias I’d stay with 3500 SRW b/c provides extra payload and cost difference is minimal for the extra payload you get.

OMG that custom rear desk is mandatory!! If Alliance will let us do this too we are basically going to copy the "Venturesome Couple" 292 RL. So perfect!!!!! We bought a '24 Silverado 2500HD 6.6 gasser. It's incredible. My gasser is rated at 18,400 for a 5ver and 16k for conventional tow. Payload is 3425 on a 2500 truck.
Diesel is overrated anymore.

Thank you for watching our video, we ended up getting a Cali a new plush doggy bed, it took a couple nights for her to get used to not sleeping with us at night, but now we are all are getting good sleep, our 100 lb doggy is spoiled and a snuggler. When we get up in the morning, Chris & I will go snuggle on the couch with her.

The hard part is we decided that Cali needed her own doggy bed, she pouted and didn't eat breakfast yesterday morning, she got over it. Thank you for the suggestion on the truck. We just picked up our new truck and will have a shorter video tour of it soon. We are still working on putting our stuff away and our kitchen is a little different set up where things go, so that's been fun, lol... Take care and tell Shelley hello.
Congrats on the new rig. I really like this layout. Currently looking for a new trailer but I see the drawer boxes are simply stapled together and all of the counter-tops appear to be constructed of pressboard/MDF with a thermo-foil cover. I know Alliance does a good job of standing behind their products, but with only a one-year warranty--those two things give me pause. Curious if this is the same type of construction used in the other Alliance rigs you've had? Take care.
Thank you for watching our video of our new Delta travel trailer. Our recommendation is to come tour the factory of all the different Alliance RV's. We are getting settled in and love ing our new Delta, still getting used to a smaller bathroom and bedroom, but it isn't bad. We did get Cali (our 100 lb fur baby) a large comfy bed to sleep on at night since we are in a queen bed and not an RV king.
Love the new trailer, can anyone get this exact setup with all of these customizations? Or perhaps I should hold off, how long before you upgrade again? And will that be to a teardrop next? Seriously, love the modifications especially the desk; almost ruled alliance out because I didn’t know they would do that.

You shoud get a Ford F350 Platinum SRW short bed, with the 6.7 liter turbo diesel. With all the towing you do, including East to West, and vice versa, over the mountains, the diesel will give you the power you need to tow like a champ. Besides, there's so many more fuel savings programs for diesel. The Platinum trim will come with the heated and massaging seats Martha wants.

Chevy Silverado 2500 HD gas model. It comes ready for towing TT. Your video opened my eyes to special ordering. I plan to ask Alliance if they will install solid countertops & proper plumbing to the water heater. Please keep an eye on the hydraulic actuator for your slide as they're known to leak (you'll notice the slide coming out during traveling - no big deal, but just be aware). You just got another subscriber! 😊

I highly recommend the GM trucks they are in for service far less then the other two manufacturers and the camera options is pretty awesome. I think gas over diesel is the better option price to buy a diesel and now diesel is more expensive to fill your truck. Hope that helps

I’m pulling 35 with GM HD gas. Gas is definitely cheaper, gas mileage won’t be to much different from diesel, you just got to watch some places with long trailer. Hard to get to the gas pump.
Thank you for watching and so very true about price of gas versus diesel. If we go gas, we will miss the truck stops for the convenience of bigger area to get fuel, it wouldn't be the worst thing, but we would miss it.

We had a Montana Front Living with a F450 Diesel and it was a great set up. We sold that and went with a GMC 2500 Denali with the Duramax and a 9850 lb Outback and that combination is great also. I was going to go with a 1 ton but wanted a little softer ride when I wasn't towing. I've had all kinds of combinations with Campers and Trucks but this by far is my favorite set up. Great Vid Guys.

We do have a Mini Cooper back at our home base, that is our fun car and it's fully loaded, we got it almost 2 years ago, we don't travel too much with it, but our daughter takes care of it (she's 23).

Love the Video, new subscriber looking at this trailer or a very similar one in a different Brand. Best K9 I ever owned was named Callie (German Shepard). She would follow me every where I went but thankfully was not a farter😂 I tow with a Ram 2500 diesel Bighorn and yes it has seat heaters 👍 and would never go back to a gasser ( unless I was only towing something smaller or very rarely) NO OFFENSE TO ANY ONE WITH A GAS TRUCK😎.

I would personally go with a gas truck if you can because it is easier to find, cheaper, and no DEF. You also don’t have to be with the truckers lol.

1 Ton Chevrolet 3500 LTZ, Gas, with 5th wheel prep, SRW. That’s what I’m getting, but I’m buying the 32RLS. I also think the 3500 gives you the headroom, so that if you go to a 5th wheel next after Alaska, next year, my prediction, you will already have the truck to pull it.

Our TT is just under 30’ and we pull it with a 3/4 ton gas truck. If we traveled as much as you guys we would say go with a diesel. Safe travels!

Looks nice, but my question about Alliance is why did they go cheap with the travel trailers? They seemed to have addressed some of their issues in their 5th wheels but going cheap on counter tops, cabinets and still with the improper fittings in the plumbing. The trail looks really nice though.
Thank you for watching our tour video of our new Delta travel trailer, our recommendation is to take a factory tour of all of the plants for the different models, travel trailers, 5th wheels, toy haulers, etc... they changed some of the material to make the TT's lighter, but we don't feel the Deltas are a downgrade, we are loving ours.
We haven't bought our rv yet and are currently trying to decide between a 5th wheel and a Travel trailer. I'm curious what made y'all decide to leave a 5th wheel for a travel trailer? I realize this can be different for everyone. I would just love to hear and learn what made that decision for y'all.

Best advice is to walk the floor plans & see what fits best for you & those traveling with you. Life has different seasons of how we live and travel, which is why we’ve changed RV’s.
Also, if you already have a tow vehicle and you don’t want to change it for a new one, make sure you can safely tow & stop with it, you don’t want to have to change out your tow vehicle because your new RV needs more payload.
We sold our truck with our 5th wheel, so we got a new truck to fit our travel trailer but also any future RV we may want to change to.
Diesel 1 ton single axel. You probably won't have to be buy a new truck when you upgrade to a fifth wheel again. :)

Hay guys I am excited for your new adventure. You asked the question what kind of truck. The best way is a 2024 gmc denali 3500 ultimate gas engine 6.6L. ⛽️ It's all you will need and 1/2 The cost and maintenance of a diesel. I hope this helped I love mine and I tow 14,000

The 370FB is a fantastic floor plan, your bathroom is grand, safe travels.
Gas truck, unless traveling a lot. Diesel pull better but , the maintenance cost is quit a bit more and more expensive…consider the warranty details. Thanks…. We have a 29 ‘ bumper pull ‘ ….. with an arctic package. We pull with a half ton, no issues at all, but, trailer is only about 6000#. Thx. 👍🤠☕️

Diesel does cost way more to maintenance, we know that all to well. Safe travels and enjoy every moment.
I am very sad you are moving out of the 340RL! I messaged you a couple months ago and asked if you had the option would you still buy the 340RL and you said yes. What about washer and dryer?
Thank you for watching our video, no washing & dryer. We have a smaller carrying capacity in our Delta, but we will get solar. We’ve never had a washer & dryer in any of our RV’s. The Travel trailers so far aren’t plumped for them.
Oh ok we are having to move thinking seriously about purchasing an RV full time living. I’m disabled suffering from arthritis fibromyalgia a horrible back so I know I need a washer and dryer in our home I really am liking the Delta’s all the extras they have.
Thank you sharing that information with us. Martha’s mom had severe arthritis and osteoporosis. We can understand the need for the washer and dryer close by.
