I was just fit this past Saturday, zx5 mk ii 4,5,6 and the zx7 mk ii 7-pw. Best feeling irons I've ever hit. Fantastic forgiveness and ball flight. Can't wait to hit them all when they arrive and see if the progressive grooves really add more spin in the scoring clubs.
Been looking at getting fitted for these irons. Im an 8 hcp and avg. iron head speed is 90-92mph. Currently playing T100. Would the ZX7 6-pw and ZX5 4-5 be a good combo for these? I like my T100 but they feel very firm off the face to me
That is my most popular custom setup with the 4,5 in the ZX5. For sure softer than anything in the Titleist line. Let me know if you want a build quote on a set. adam@elitefitgolf.com
I don't carry Miura so I can't speak to those particular irons but I will put Srixon up against any of the very best iron makers in golf. Personally I also think Srixon makes a better looking club than anything in the Miura line up.
@@tomcintorino6437 one of the issues I see with Srixon is that they labor ZX4 MK II as women’s irons, and not “high handicapper” /senior irons. These would be the ones to get.
I agree, I went ZX7 in the 8-9-PW and the ZX5 in the 5-6-7, in the future I may go with ZX4 in a 4 iron if needed, but currently the ZX5 5 iron goes 220 for me. These feel better than my Apex pro's which absolutely shocked me.
Longer blade and slightly stronger lofts are the main difference you will notice. Bit more forgiving but these two irons are closer than a lot of other brands irons in these categories. I like a blended set if you are debating between the 2.
Already got the ZX5 MKII 4-6 and ZX7 MKII 7-GW in the bag. Just need good weather to play them.

Kinda the same here, 5-7 in zx5 and 8-gw in zx7... :)
I’m just about to order the Same ZX5 4,5,6 and ZX7 7-PW. Did you have any of the lofts tweaked between the 6&7 where you change?
4, 5 and 6 I had bent 1° weak
I've got the ZX7 MK2 5-PW and then a ZX4 4iron :) love it at the top to have a proper fun stick
Great review. Please compare Srixon to any of the DTC brands. Haywood, PXG or Takoma Golf.
The most underrated iron brand out
Very helpful review. I was fitted for the ZX4 and feel better knowing another independent analysis of the clubs.

I have the ZX5 MKII, received on Sunday, hit them today for first time as configured and they went right in my bag, easy to hit, great feel. 6-P.
How do the ZX7s compare to the Miura TC-201s? Forgiveness and feel? Thanks

Nice review. I love the blades these guys make. I’m playing rac mp tp Irons that are still in great shape.
I am a high handicapper, Senior. Please suggest a combo set of Srixons between the SX4 and SX5. Thank you.

Srixon makes as good an iron as anything on the planet.
I’m looking at ordering a very similar set, is there a big yardage gap between the 7i and the 8i?
Got the same setup, but i also game the GW.
@@Danjon1235 unfortunately no gw in lefty. So went with the MG3 to fill the gap.
AJ, Do you think it is possible to lower the lie angle by 1Deg on the ZX4 MkII
No issue there. I've done in for custom builds.
Nice video. Subscribed
You missed that the ZX4 Is a Hollow body iron.....
Zx4 4-5 zx 6-7 zx 8-9-pw? Toughts?
Could definitely do all three as a blend set.
what feels better Takoma 100t or zk4,
ZX4 all day. It is more than twice the price though.
How much more forgiving is the ZX4 than the ZX5? Moderate swing speed here… 12:28

Seems like they spin a bit more than the Gen 1 which is a good thing. They have always looked great, these are no different.
Zx5 zx7 ... best ?
Personally I like the 5 the best of the 3 options.
Nah PXG 0317 CB ST is the best blend same lofts and offsets exactly
