Thomas Wooden Railway prototypes to unknown mystery items are explored in this video. Some models were from Thomas the Tank and friends' wooden railway train collection and a lot of the pictures were from outside sources.

Well we cant do anything about it, besides, the creators were in such a hurry they put Sir Handel's face on Rheneas
Awdry didn’t want to kill Henry, he was annoyed with how incorrect the illustrations of Henry were, so because of this, Awdry had made the decision to write Henry out of the railway series, but since kids kept asking questions about Henry, Awdry decided to make Henry work and that’s how we got the flying kipper.
Sad Face Henry was simply a variant of Henry made for the Come Out Henry set so kids could recreate the episode. That's all there is to it. :P

Henry crashing in the flying kipper episode wasn't an example of Awdry trying to kill Henry, the only actual instances was before that in Thomas' Train and Thomas And The Guard when Henry was sick, which was supposed to lead up to Henry being sent away for being sick
Exactly! That part of the video really bothered me.
I might have been misinformed on the Henry part. I'll make sure to fact check things next time!

Just to correct the whole thing about Henry: Henry was put in the tunnel to be punished for a bit, not trying to kill him. Awdry WOULD OF written Henry out becuase of how the illustrators drew Henry, this is why Henry is sick in Tank Engine Thomas Again. The Flying Kipper accident was the thing Awdry did to save him, making him crash which would leave him really damaged, which thus, made him go to Crewe to get rebuilt. The reason Awdry hated Henry at first is becuase of how the illustrators drew him, not as an Atlantic like how he wanted, but as a mix between an A1 and C1 Atlantic, which Awdry was upset about, he want a C1 Atlantic, but instead got a weird hybrid engine, the book The Island Of Sodor, It’s people History and Railways cleverly writes this into lore that Sir Topham Hatt wanted an Atlantic, and whoever sold him Henry promised Henry would be an Atlantic, which, wasn’t true. Even in the book to go as far as stating Sir Topham Hatt said “I WANTED AN ATLANTIC, AND THAT **** ***** ***** SENT ME THAT!”

You called the fake daisy a boco, but it makes you wonder also, if boco was in cgi would they just take daisys face model and take off the makeup? They did that in the model series lol
oop yes! I just realized it was a daisy!! I believe daisy has a symmetrical bevel cut while boco has a flat side!

It baffles me as to why they made Salty's Prototype a bogey diesel instead of just reusing the chassis of an already existing black six wheeled engine.

Salty with eight wheels is such a strange idea for a prototype. His actual basis (BR Class 07), and appearance in the TV show has 6 wheels.

fun fact: sometime in the early 2010s i went to melbourne in australia and at myer they had a santa thing and it was kinda thomas themed. they had a miniature thomas train that you would ride into the photo room. after you took a photo with santa you could buy a take along thomas (they might have had something like the twr 2 packs, i don’t remember)

Wait so I have a question, I have a gray face which I found in a facebook lot for $10 and I'm wondering what year it is. The wheels say 2003 but there's not a factory code on the bottom which has me confused. If the gray face was retired in 2001 with the 5 car value pack and only sold overseas with a factory code on the bottom, how does my gray face have no code yet have 2003 wheels?

It's still not clear! but I do believe it's some kind of test run!! and if it was a custom made train, the paint of the dents should have had orange but it just goes to straight bare wood!

yep! It's a very hard one! we will know! one reason why I think it could be a test sample is because if it was a fake, it should have been painted over orange but this train has bare wood on the part that have dents on them without any visible orangE1
