Sony themselves don’t support the VR headset. To expect third party to keep it alive is such arrogance from Sony. I have a PS5 and it’s alright. The right trigger on my controller makes a creaking sound when it’s used repeatedly.
Here’s my advice: this past Christmas I had my PS4 console since 2015 until now I finally got PS5 digital console all it takes time and patience, I wanted the OG PS5 console since it’s was bulky and bigger and I realize after all these years I’m use to the physical disc drive while I was using the PS4, it’s time for change on physical gaming I see why PS5 slim doesn’t have disc drive unless you buy the disc drive as a accessory. Anyway I love your video also great advice and “HAPPY GAMING”

maybe ill buy it if they consider a price drop that's permanent and atleast 100 dollars off edit: 2 people already said to get it on sale, one google search shows that sony has not once dropped the ps5 to a justifiable price during a sale
First ps game was killzone back in the day talking about 2007 ps3 era.time flies, its ridiculous to buy a ps6 when you have a brand new ps5 pro or slim.
The generation that doesn't have many actual current generation games only on PlayStation 5 alone. Exclusives are minimal and few and fair between. . Bring back actual Exclusives! I regret buying my PlayStation 5 in April and to be honest im playing 90% of my PlayStation 4 games .
I have the xbox series x, nintendo switch non oled display version, ps4 pro and a large collection of old game consoles with old games since I have a bunch of game consoles. I'm a huge collector of physical media since I only buy and support physical media for movies, music and video games since I don't pay and support streaming services. I only have all my consoles in landscape not vertical since I don't want the risk of damaging my xbox in case it gets knocked over. If I bought the ps5, I would also use it land scape just like every console and accidents do happen and I don't want to risk damaging the ps5 when an accident can possibly happen knocking over the ps5 to the ground especially since the surface of the ground is mainly made of solid concrete and only a rug to protect any accidentally damages when things fall but having a rug is not guaranteed to protect something from being damaged or broken.
For a any console user I think, it’s worth it for the games that are only next GEN and the improvements like higher frame rates, considering consistently most games play at 60 if you want to play at 60 with performance mode available on most of them much faster, loading speeds better to quality of life like quiet cooling and not a jet engine not even just first games in general with space Marine 2, helldivers 2 best multiplayer game out here ,Astro bot, ratchet and clank Riff apart, Spider-Man 2 , rise of the Ronin if you like team ninja games, demon souls, Returnal, ff7 rebirth, dragon dogma 2 how many others Plus, future releases not just first party games like ghost of yōtei an intergalactic, which more are probably gonna get announced eventually the firm, third-party developers, like monster Hunter wilds, GTA 6, kingdom comes deliverance 2 dynasty Warriors origins hell 2025 and the future looks crazy
Get a slim instead of the original the original gives you 825 storage but with all the updates and everything you’ll have leftover of 667.2gb usable storage while the slim will give you a 1tb storage with a leftover of usable storage of 848gb
I finally got a ps5 to play COD6 and madden 25, one thing I’ve learned, the new gen games are a big step backwards in use ability, devs have screwed up once great franchises with overly complicated bs.
The facts is that the ps5 is not like the 4 where after a year of playing you got all dust inside the console . Whit the ps5 you can just open it up clean the fan n you got that ps5 clean n ready to go . I think a ps5 can have a 6 year life
When trying to find games to play on the ps5, there are no classic or well known games on the ps5, xbox series x and the nintendo switch. There is no twisted metal, def jam vendetta, def jam fight for ny, prototype 1, prototype 2, left 4 dead 1 thru, ninja gaiden, tenchu etc. These games are well known since most of the newer games are from unknown developers and don't have games that were developed by acclaim and rare. I missed when there were popular games like perfect dark, golden eye 007, turok, etc. I never heard of the large majority of games on the newer modern consoles since they remind me of low budget movies when the low budget movies were not worth watching and it also applyingeo games. Basically the quality of video games have become stagnant and not very good since there are no more instant hits since most newer games are just based on hype and become a temporary fad until the hype is over and the games get swept under the rug. It's not like the older generation of video games that turned classic and the value of the classic games increased in value because it was harder to buy because the cost of the games became very popular because everyone wanted the classic games. The popular video games became iconic and people were willing to spend money on buying games that were rare because the value of the games have gone up. It seems like there is not much value being made for video games as well as making movies and even music. There are all doing the same thing such as doing whatever it takes to make something considered as a cash grab and make a quick buck to sell something faster without taking the time to make sure what is being paid for even worth it anymore. There is no nostalgic factor with modern technology since most of the the nostalgic factor has turned into niche products.
Between the needlessly expensive subscription service being a necessity to get the most out of the console and so many of Sony's first party titles not being actual exclusives anymore, it just ends up making rhe system far less worth it these days compared to back in 2020 to 2022 when at the very least they still gave a dang about actually making rhese titles STAY ACTUAL EXCLUSIVES! Now Sony and Microsoft are jusy making BOTH their consoles far less worth it thanks to their lack of consistent exclusives halfway through this generation whole Nintendo thankfully doing far more better than these two ever would've been.
@@truckercowboyed2638 well you would be surprised at how hard it is to maintain an online subscription even though it's cheap (talking from experience)
@@truckercowboyed2638 First off, I own a PS5 and having experienced the glaring issues myself I have more justified reason to bad mouth the system. Second, it's starting at TEN dollars a month for the basic tier, not seven. Unless you're factoring in that with the yearly tiers, which is stupid in itself as you're trying to undermine how needlessly expensive this still is. And third, I AM able to afford it, but I refuse to want to do so when it comes to the just how.much of a price hike each of these tiers have now compared to what they were before. At least with Xbox Gane Pass, you could easily work around their price hikes and still get better deals for Live Gold and then Gane Pass Ultimate. That isn't as easily done for PS Plus.

But what interest me is the PSSR technology personally I don’t think the ps5 pro worth it at all but the PS6 is gonna use it and with a couple years of Sony using that before the PS6 it might be really good obviously the PS6 still needs better hardware than a PS5 Pro Bare minimum 2 or 3 times better I don’t want it overly rely on PSSR I just wanted it be a bonus with the package I just hope the PS six is no more than maybe $600 max unless inflation and the price of technology gets that bad
PS4 is inside PS5..alot of people don not understand this...this console is definitely for the coming 2 years future until PS6 arrives and even then it will be working for the next 4 years...hence when PS6 arrives PS5 + PS4 will be inside PS6
Iam saving money and my doubt is when ps 6 comes and if i am going to buy ps 5 at 2025 or 2027 then will ps 5 will outdate like ps 4 when ps 5 came please someone please reply
I say it's not this thing is going to get 2-3 years of use that you can't get out of a 4 before its dated. That's short for a system and there will still be some games coming to the PS5 (especially if the Switch 2 is comparable) just quite a bit less if you're getting one just now it's not worth it unless you can find it for a good discount but hey maybe I'm just a idiot who hasn't played with a console more powerful than a VCR Xbox One I've had for over 10 years.
If you don’t have a ps5 by now you really not a gamer. Honestly I feel like it’s the only required platform. If you don’t have an Xbox a switch or a PC that’s one thing but if you don’t have nothing else this generation you gotta have a PS5
Ps5 is for sure worth it and especially with the ps5 pro expect the normal ps5 to drop in price soon. Also the ps6 will probably get delayed because the ps5 had a very slow start and Sony probably expect to sell a lot more copies. Also the ps5 pro is a scam don't buy that. Also i use a 4tb external hard drive works amazing on my playstation you can get that for like 150 bucks. Or just buy an ssd with 2 tb for that price.
I usually get every system but im loving my xbox with game pass, sony isn't doing it for me this generation. Just got a gaming pc and I can use my game pass their too. I'll wait till a must have game comes out or see what the next gen looks like.
I may be alone here but I’ve had the ps5 for about two yrs I’d say no. The console is rather expensive ovr with the yearly subscription hike, little storage, lack of new refreshing games in my opinion this generation of PlayStation is largely a disappointment you just don’t get the bang for your buck. If your on the 4 I’d wait for the 6
Yes definitely worth it but $700 with no disc drive with 2 terabytes that's cool but i got a better deal i got the playstation slim 5 for $ 550 at Wal-Mart altogether with disc drive i also got Xbox series x too i paid $ 800 back in 2021 a month after my birthday they are both good consoles
Yeah the dual sense longevity is garbage. I've never had an issue with console controllers until now. I've had aps5 for a little over 2 years and I'm on my third controller.
Everyone, tell me. Give me a list of games the PS5 doesn't have. The list goes on. Now, name ONE game that the PS5 doesn't have.
Nice video; lots of great advice and a sound layout of the facts. I appreciate it. I just jumped aboard the PS5 train. I still have older consoles, PS1-PS4, and kept my favorite games from them. Obviously, many PS2 & PS3 hits have been “remastered” for newer systems repeatedly… and that does bug me. I am hoping that the PS6 will FINALLY be the “One Console to Rule Them All”. It should be able to retro ALL PS games, from 1-5, as well as play BluRay movies in 4k, and have many connection ports and possibilities for various configurations, from high end stereo and video to a “poor man’s” setup. THAT would be a system worth investing in. I have held back on buying the PS5 for years, and only pulled the trigger on one because I wanted to play Dragon Age Veilguard. I’ve played through DA Inquisition about six times; it was time to try the next chapter in the franchise! So far I’m only marginally impressed; the graphics are slightly better, but nothing overwhelming. I do like the controller better, though. I need to test the system running other PS4 favorites to see how they fare. Again, good overview!
If you want a current gen console then the answer is yes, if you didn't own a ps4 then the answer is probably yes, if you already own a current gen console then the answer is probably no.
Not worth it for me too expensive, small game library, and even if I did want to buy it was unavailable for years and it only looks slightly better than ps4 because it has 60 FPS you can get that on PC and every household has a PC to be honest games in general haven't been great lately. The only way video games would be highly entertaining again is if they did something with VR they should focus on that.

It's smarter to get the new switch. Both Microsoft and Sony are starting to put their games on it and it continues to keep it's own games exclusive. New Sony games are all going to come to PC one or two years down the line.
My biggest reason for wanting a PS5 isn't to play new games, it's to play PS4 games in silky smooth 60fps.

No, this never happens. You’re delude. PoS5 doesn’t get close to 4k and 60FPS. More like 860P upscaled and less than 30FPS
Yes 4k stable 60fps. Not like pc unstable fps.
@@nothingtosee7718this happens ive done it many times stop lying
@@nothingtosee7718I love when people don't know what they are talking about
@ unfortunately I do as a tech veteran who works in the industry… and the PoS5 is garbage on both a hardware, services and a software front.
Sony themselves don’t support the VR headset. To expect third party to keep it alive is such arrogance from Sony. I have a PS5 and it’s alright. The right trigger on my controller makes a creaking sound when it’s used repeatedly.
I recently got a PS5 Slim over a month ago and I’m having a blast with it with games like Astro bot.
Plugged in my PS5 again since I haven't used it to much since buying it. Having a blast going thru FF7 Remake and Judgement.
Too busy playing Nintendo's Yoshi's Revenge: Mario & Friends must die?
@gabhug-rl3ix uh no I was playing on PC
Here’s my advice: this past Christmas I had my PS4 console since 2015 until now I finally got PS5 digital console all it takes time and patience, I wanted the OG PS5 console since it’s was bulky and bigger and I realize after all these years I’m use to the physical disc drive while I was using the PS4, it’s time for change on physical gaming I see why PS5 slim doesn’t have disc drive unless you buy the disc drive as a accessory. Anyway I love your video also great advice and “HAPPY GAMING”
The PS5' technological prowess only shines when you put it up a tree 👍
My son damaged my HDMI port for the PS4 so it's not worth paying $130 to replace it. I will try to fix it myself and if I can't, I may just upgrad to the PS5. It's much cost-effective upgrading my PC, my 2018 it's still a beast

I DON'T KNOW WHY
*Astro Bot is great tbh.*

GTA 6
Well I have the pro 🔥🔥so I’ll say I’m happy with my console we are talking about a console that would be sold in seconds !!
So far, my PS5 controller does appear to hold a charge way better than the PS4. Don't get me started on the PS3.
maybe ill buy it if they consider a price drop that's permanent and atleast 100 dollars off
edit: 2 people already said to get it on sale, one google search shows that sony has not once dropped the ps5 to a justifiable price during a sale
wtf do you permanently need a drop just buy it in the sale
Why not just get it on sale?
I think another thing to get the most of your PS5 (especially the PS5 pro) is a TV with HDMI 2.1.
September disc drive is currently not available on sony ps site and in our country cost between 120 to 160 eur
Really was waiting for it . The answer I was looking for . I get it . Thanks a lot .
Worth it for Bloodborne alone
Wait for bloodborne on PS6
@@cmart5 They better have the Bloodborne Remaster as a launch title.
For a any console user I think, it’s worth it for the games that are only next GEN and the improvements like higher frame rates, considering consistently most games play at 60 if you want to play at 60 with performance mode available on most of them much faster, loading speeds better to quality of life like quiet cooling and not a jet engine
not even just first games in general with space Marine 2, helldivers 2 best multiplayer game out here ,Astro bot, ratchet and clank Riff apart, Spider-Man 2 , rise of the Ronin if you like team ninja games, demon souls, Returnal, ff7 rebirth, dragon dogma 2 how many others
Plus, future releases not just first party games like ghost of yōtei an intergalactic, which more are probably gonna get announced eventually the firm, third-party developers, like monster Hunter wilds, GTA 6, kingdom comes deliverance 2 dynasty Warriors origins hell 2025 and the future looks crazy
Get a slim instead of the original the original gives you 825 storage but with all the updates and everything you’ll have leftover of 667.2gb usable storage while the slim will give you a 1tb storage with a leftover of usable storage of 848gb
jfc time flies so quickly its been 5 yrs already 😂
I finally got a ps5 to play COD6 and madden 25, one thing I’ve learned, the new gen games are a big step backwards in use ability, devs have screwed up once great franchises with overly complicated bs.
The facts is that the ps5 is not like the 4 where after a year of playing you got all dust inside the console . Whit the ps5 you can just open it up clean the fan n you got that ps5 clean n ready to go . I think a ps5 can have a 6 year life
The only exclusives I wanna play are the two Astros...
So no, it's not worth it. Never has been.
still doesnt seem to be worth it. not even for the exclusives. how many exclusives are there?
The subscription is $7 per month geeze you sound poor and bad mouthing the ps5 to make excuses.........
There's plenty of exclusives but business wise it makes sense they share games between both consoles.... obviously you're ignorant
@@truckercowboyed2638You don't even know what the word means. I'm completely DISAPPROVING of this ridiculous buisness practice especially speaking as a console gamer of two and a half decades now. Trying to defend this is more ignorant in itself more than anything.

How about, don't pay 500$ for any console?
Okay, I'll spend $450 on something. :)
If you already have a ps5 no it isnt worth it at all. The minuscule difference doesnt justify paying almost a grand for it.

Missing a browser is it’s not worth it . I regret upgrading to ps5 from ps4
already have the slim yet iam here cant wait for gta 6
That's short for a system and there will still be some games coming to the PS5 (especially if the Switch 2 is comparable) just quite a bit less
if you're getting one just now it's not worth it unless you can find it for a good discount but hey maybe I'm just a idiot who hasn't played with a console more powerful than a VCR Xbox One I've had for over 10 years.
I'm buying a ps 5 pro with the disc drive when the ps 6 comes out it should be cheaper by then
If you don’t have a ps5 by now you really not a gamer. Honestly I feel like it’s the only required platform. If you don’t have an Xbox a switch or a PC that’s one thing but if you don’t have nothing else this generation you gotta have a PS5

Ps plus extra is worth buying it is actually better than game pass.I have ps and a pc where I had game pass 2 weeks ago
If youre a die hard Sony guy -Yes

- Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut.
- Sonic Adventure 2.
- Sonic Heroes.

- Sonic Riders.
- Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.
- Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
- Sonic the Hedgehog '06.
- Sonic Dream Team.
- Digimon: Rumble Arena 2.
- Digimon: All Star Rumble.
- PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

What games does the PS5 not have exactly?
Umm the PS5 is current gen we're 5 years in so the PS4 is last gen....
Yes absolutely.

Nope. It's halfway through its lifespan.

Not worth it for me too expensive, small game library, and even if I did want to buy it was unavailable for years and it only looks slightly better than ps4 because it has 60 FPS you can get that on PC and every household has a PC to be honest games in general haven't been great lately. The only way video games would be highly entertaining again is if they did something with VR they should focus on that.
ps5? Only if you never experienced a ps4
ps5 pro? Only if you don't have a PC nor ps5
