    In 2008 I reached 292 after giving birth to my 3rd baby. I had just gotten married as well and my self esteem was very low. I started walking and doing TaeBo. On VHS,too! But five times a week for one year I went from 298 to 160. Today, at 52 using TaeBo and I still weigh 160. Thank You Mr. Blanks!

    I love Billy. I did his program religiously for about 3 years- it focused on power and the strike. His training saved my life. One night a guy came up behind me and I did the Billy Blanks 3 punch and the guy dropped a knife. Truly, it was the then that I realized what Billy had taught me - self protection whilst working out. Thanks Billy!

    When I was young during the summer before starting 9th grade high school, I worked the entire summer to earn the money to buy the very first 4 box vhs set, Intro, Basic, Advanced, and 8min. I did them religiously and lost 20-25lbs by the end of my 1st year in High School. I was taking weightlifting as well, and because I was so heavy that weight coming off made me become a bit of a icon because everyone noticed including teachers. Billy Blanks workout videos made my teenage High School years a time of confidence and growth, not to mention way more girlfriends!
    Best workout videos ever made. I’m rediscovering them in my 30yrs, it’s time to step it up.

    We are 61, and we work out from time to time with these old exercise VHS and DVD's... we were going to exercise to Billy Blanks' 8-minute workout one we had (from the '80s), but it died on us. I don't know how many hundred times it had been played. I had seen that he was on RUclips some time and being I no longer had one of my favorite oldies, I thought I'd get us to try this one! So it was a good workout with the weights, but we didn't work up a sweat - no high kicking here... I see there are lots of others to try too, however. - Hopefully, there are some seniors like us on some of them! We want to be active into older age, to keep up with the grandkids!

      mr blanks...very grateful for your assistance...m new to fitness n i have seen your videos n my question is can i do this in the morning and the chair exercises at night as a routine and can i do just 30-40 skips as a warm up or i can just get into the workout

      @@tshegofatsoruele8926 It's always helpful for the body to get warmed up and ready to go before any workout whether that's jumping jacks or dynamic stretches. But yes, to answer your question you can do this workout in the morning and the chair exercises at night- Get ready to be sore :) Good luck on your fitness journey

      +Stella Johnson,exactly why I love him! I've worked out with other on here and trust me they just kill your vibes. They are breathing (NO breath control)harder than I am and their so-called pep talk simply piss you off.

      COOLJAZZY - YES! One important element is that his voice is perfect. Very inspiring. There are RUclipsrs who train and I love them but can't stand their voices. They scream like an I don't know what and the volume goes up & down. I have to keep my hand on the volume button, so can't really focus like that. Secondly, no matter how many times I wander off, I will ALWAYS get back to Billy's exercises. It's so magnificently put together, I can't explain it but surely feel it. I get the most results in the shortest amount of time. Brilliant! x

    I love doing taebo workout, I'm doing thise workout since may 2023. January 2023 my weight was 89kg. Now November 2023 my weight is between 68-70 kg unlike before my weight gain rapidly

    I stopped working out because i was diagnosed with a rare heart condition and had to have emergency surgery. Today is my first day working out in over 3 years and I feel like my body remembers how it should be! Like it never should have stopped. I love these videos!! Thank you!!

    This is the best taeboo. It's hard but effective. I've tried this a year ago. And I'm here again trying to lost my weight .

      Yes, I've been at it since lockdown started 4 months ago. I feel great, my body is tighter. My moods are balanced, I'm up to working out 4 times a week now. Seriously! An anti - corona workout. No depression here. Thanks Mr. Blanks.

    This is one of his better workouts. I live in a very small place. Not a lot of room, so I cant do most of his workouts. Also if you live upstairs, the neighbors complain a lot when you jump. This workout I can do! Not sure what it does for abs, but I like it anyway

    Billy eres el mejor llevo 3 semanas en casa haciendo mis circuitos y aunque a veces trato de darme por vencida sigo adelante eso si sudo como loca aunque hago intervalo para tomar agua maravilloso Billy soy Colombiana y enamorada de sus videos eres maravilloso...gracias

    Billy! You never disappoint!! I have been doing your Taebo for years. It was so sad when you left Sherman Oaks:( We manage cuz your family is great too. But when You travel or just don't want to leave your house.It is so conveinent to have this on RUclips! You should have an app created for our phones….just in 10 min to 30 min segmants so we can do it anywhere!     Dear Mr. Blanks, I do not know if this letter will find you however I need to share something. Since Feb 2023 i have only missed one day of exercise which I made up for twice the next day. I use 2lb weights everyday as I do your aerobics and others. I exercise 2.5 hrs each day. When I see progress which is vwry minimal not even an inch the next day I awaken to a pinch of fat where I was feeling a brief moment of accomplishment. I work vwry hard. I am only 43 not in menopause and not over eating. How can I go to sleep then wake up with fat? Even my thumb has a pinch I cannot hold a pencil and there was a bruise on it. Every time I feel a brief moment of joy the next day it is gone with extra new fat. Could you please share your wisdom.

    I'm now in my third week. Sometimes it goes really well and sometimes I have to switch to the lighter dumbbells. Nevertheless, I'm already seeing small successes and I feel great.

    when i heard him talking about the Weight i thought it was in kgs not lbs and i was using 2kg dumbbells :P but tbh it wasn't that hard in 2kg but better to start with 1kg

      if you're talking about lowering that scale fast, it won't coz this will tone you, meaning it will give you muscle. But try doing it consistent, better to have muscles because muscle burns fats in the long run
