    David! Your videos have helped me improve so much this summer! I've gone from an okay rider to actually being able to impress people at the cable! Unfortunately, I just dislocated my shoulder the other day so I'm out for a bit. Your vids entertain me even though I can't currently ride. Keep up the good work man!

    What's incredible is that just by watching the tricks, I can't tell which side is regular and which side is switch. That's pretty incredible and pretty inspiring that they look almost the exact same going both ways.

    When you land a new trick for the first time, what steps do you take after? I like to make sure I can do it 3 times in a row regular first. Do you immediately try it switch or toeside?

    • @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder
      @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder  7 лет назад +1

      Andrew J yeah, I 100% agree. Get it 3 times in a row to solidify it. Then it's up to you, but like ideally learn it soonish afterwards if your switch is strong!

    Your video editing has gone to a new level in this one 👍🏻 I think you are onto something I would start to have faith in your talent outside of wakeboarding (vlogging) and I think you could throw a few videos in that dont focus on wakeboarding - it probably feels like a ballsy move but I reckon worth an experiment! Nice work though it takes masses of effort I dont envy vloggers!

    Personally I prefer "to the point", but the vlog stuff is easy enough to skip through for those that don't care for it.
    Something you might talk about sometime - boat speed. What's best? go for what makes the best wake on the boat setup you have, or is there more to it? I generally ride around 21mph but I'm going to try a few different speeds this afternoon. :-)

    • @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder
      @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder  7 лет назад

    Can i be your next door neighbour please? it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!! everytime i watch your vid filmed around your home i get so jealous!!
    i like your channel because it has different styles and contents. i personnally like your tutorials like 'mastering the basics of wakebaording' because it is VERY informative, straightforward and super clearly expalined! there is no other wakeboarding tutorials like that out there. it really helps when i go out and try it myself.
    i also love your vid like 'old school wakebaording is back' ( my fav wakeboarding vid in the world!) and the other ones with you try different things for fun or you traveling around the world.
    i quite like the way you group the vids at the moment. you have different styles for each group and they serve the purpose perfectly well i think. it gives your channel diversity as well.
    i think people like your channel because you have your own colours.20K subscribers mean that you are doing something right :) whatever you want to do, please keep sharing with us! :D

    Love the vids! Thanks for making them time in time again! Quick question please, do you think or how much do you think not having your own board while trying to get better at wakeboarding and using boards at cable parks given to u (open toe; closed toe, 138 then a 140, next time a 141) slows down your progression? Big thanks again and keep shredding! :D

    • @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder
      @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder  7 лет назад +1

      Hey RJ, thanks a million. So yeah, it definitely doesnt help, but it's not the end of the world. I think if you're at a beginner to intermediate level, you may not notice the board differences as much (except maybe open and closed toe). So what i'd say is, if you come into some spare cash, then 100% try get your own setup, but if you just can't afford it, no massive stress, you'll still progress!

      not spam haha, yeah, intermediate i'd maybe look at something like the O'Brien indy, i think it's an awesome board on the cable for all levels really. The SOB that i ride would be great at all levels too
