They are! They are both quite shy compared to some of the other children, you can see even in this video John is far more confident - but they are such good kids and so grateful for all that is done for them. Thanks Keke 💗

Emily, I really love how in this video you blend in so well. It’s clear that they accept you. Even when you are showing their living conditions you do it without looking down on them and with so much humility. Just asking them questions and wanting to learn. Love this video ❤
I actually disagree a bit because the kids looked embarrassed to show you, when she asked for a torch to see in side no one moved they're not very comfortable, then you see her look inside eventually and she just said "There is beds, right" and moved on the kids are from humble village life with not much I don't know if showing the world there home was comfortable for them if you watch again and look at their faces it say's alot 😢
Twins weren’t uncomfortable to show, but the twins themselves are very shy on camera, especially Waiswa. They would have been the same in my own home! They are the most reserved of all the children we support. They said there was no torch, and even helped me try to find one off camera - remember this is a snippet of our time there!

If we were invited on one - of course! Thank you ❤ It's a struggle, but we do our best! We hope by showing people exactly what their money goes on, people will be more inclined to donate. I know that sometimes it can be off-putting giving to charity and having no idea where your donation actually goes or whether it just pays for the CEO's salary etc! We've always felt we would rather help a smaller number of children, but really help them all the way through to further education - and take everyone along on that journey with us!
I personally think you guys are amazing, I know it may be difficult at times, you have sure big hearts. They you treat all the kids is amazing. They are so lucky to have met you. And I’m sure they will all appreciate it when they grow up. ❤

The kids look so reluctant to go back to the village.
They are just shy - but in fact when we asked everybody, they were all keen to go back to visit their families for some time. It's also super important to do so ☺️

I don't - I wish I did, I just can't crack it. I find languages so hard. Mum's French too and never learnt that! I understand sometimes vaguely what's being said if Josh is speaking but I think that might just be because I know him by now!

I love village life
So do we! Personally I (Emilie) couldn't manage it long-term, but then I am very used to the comforts of places like the UK - but we LOVE venturing into the village for a day or two. It's so peaceful ☺️
How do they charge mobiles in the village? What do you do with your 4 whilst you do these amazing jobs? Do you understand what they are all saying in the village? Can you speak their language? These vlogs are soooo interesting thank you!
Some neighbours have tiny solar chargers, or they can go to the trading centre and pay a small sum to charge there - those tiny phones battery then last for ages!
On this occasion (and most!) our kids were with Bazale who lives with us ☺️
I understand the odd few words, but sadly no - I can't. I've always struggled so much with language. You'd think I'd just automatically understand more having been here hearing it for years, but I just can't grasp it! Josh (or even sometimes the kids) translate for me ☺️

How to make the world a better and caring place, send these bratty Canadian and American kids, to change places with these amazing kids for a month during summer holidays, their boredom would vanish. I'm not going to feel sorry because with god's blessings, these are our future doctors, teachers and scientists.

Josh wouldn't be driving me anywhere.🤣😂I scream at my husband for trying to give me a heart attack while driving on the 401 highway in Ontario Canada, can you imagine on a bumpy dirt road. Emilie you're too thrusting love t o your family and extended family. Peace and love.❤💯Emilie, is there a surprise waiting for us, holding that baby made me wonder, you look like my daughter-in law who's having their 6th. the oldest being 11 yrs old.
I actually really trust Josh when either me or the kids are in the car - I know he'd never take unnecessary risks. On his own however - I worry to no end!

I'm a bit confused about the twins. Are they kids you adopted, or just kids that you are helping? I'm a new subscriber, just trying to catch up on what's going on?
The twins we have known for 10 years now but are children we support through our tiny charity, CEDA 😊
Adam is the only adopted child - with George, Tallie and James in the process of to!
How are you and your family. Please can I buy bricks for the house and bathroom for them so that they can use to bathroom.

They do all have some clothes, but they all seem to change to uniform whenever they are going somewhere!
