ABANDONED BARN FIND First Wash In 50 Years BMW 700 Coupe! Satisfying Car Detailing Restoration. Today, we tackle the interior & exterior of a BMW 700 Coupe that hasn't been washed in over 50 years that will require us to pressure wash the entire exterior, followed by a wash, clay bar and then polishing the paint to bring back its shine followed by a full interior detail which included mold removal. If you believe cars have souls and I do. It's amazing to think this was sat in a barn for 50 years. How the world has changed in that time then comes out and is given a new lease of life with amazing products that didn't even exist when it was created. Beautiful thing
My pick is a 1968 Shelby gt 500kr. 427 or 428 one of the two. Red with white stripes and a white interior.

Late friend of mine who owned Belgrade car museum was once invited when fishermen found a German WWII motorcycle Zundapp KS750 in the river Danube. When they fished it out after 63 years (1944-2007) only the tire on the sidecar did not hold air.

A 1959 BMW 700 was my first car, I bought in 1972 when I was 20. I drove it for a year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately I had it scrapped when it failed the MOT test😒. Wish I hadn't done that. But very glad to see some are still around and being taken care of. Well done!!!
What a great little survivor! You really brought the paint back to life, the interior looks awesome, what a cool project… I hope they get it road worthy soon! Maybe a follow up detail video after it gets a couple miles on the road?

Although I wish you were a bit more like AMMO NYC when it comes to the aspect of preserving the car. Like when he polishes an old car he always informs us about the state of the paint and what would be the best treatment for it at this point in time. Just some constructive criticism from a fan👍🏻

I've seen these before, I have a book all about BMW's,from early cars to present,but at first I thought it was a Renault Carrevelle sports car .

If I had to choose any car in the world, undoubtedly it will be the 66-67 Oldsmobile Toronado in Bronze, the reason being that in my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful automobiles in the world, and it is also my dream car.
And the cleaning/detailing of the BMW turned out excellent, great job!

I own my grandfather’s 1956 VW Beetle, and I wouldn’t want to own any other car in the world. It’s history of my family, and I’ll own it and love it for the rest of my life.

I love the smooth lines of the body on a 58. It was the first year of the Impala and I have always thought it was the nicest body style of the 50's. The 59 was pretty to but the smooth curves and sleekness of the 58 is the best to me

My grandfather had one of these in England which he drove for nearly 20 years. I remember riding in it as a child whenever we visited my grandparents in the UK. I liked it but then I’m a fan of old cars. Looked pretty good by the time you finished with it. I hope they can rebuild that little car and get it back on the road. That would be awesome. To answer your question I would want a Datsun 280Z or a little MGB. I fell in love with both of those cars when I was about 12 years old. Wonderful classics those two.
Great video! My vintage dreamcar would be a Facel Vega HK500, which was a French-built muscle-car that was half Rolls-Royce, half Ferrari, with a Chrysler drivetrain from the pre-emissions era.

Original VE Beetle. Have always liked them. They are neat simple little cars. There are so easy to personalize with a small budget. I would take one in good condition even if it didn’t run. I would just park it in the garage and work on it a little at a time. Mom and dad never had anything smaller than a V8.
Second choice would be a late 70’s Granada. Dad had one when I was growing up and it’s what he taught us to drive in, it was the last car we had. When dad passed away mom sold it and we moved to Tx. We lived in Houston until I graduated and when I went back to Ca the guy that bought it still had it. He said he would sell it to me for what he bought it for from us. I didn’t have a job or license, so I couldn’t buy it. I’ve seen Granadas on marketplace in good condition, but just don’t have the funds to get one.

I would want to own a Audi 100 Coupe, it is an absolutely gorgeous looking car. My family already has an 1970s Audi, my dad just bought a 1975 Audi 80.
I remember when you couldn't give these cars away, baby Aston DBS looks, such gorgeous cars, a friend had one rotting away and refused to sell it. I hope it survived.

Wow! That came right back to life. I'm not sure how collectible these cars are in a "factory stock" condition, but I would be tempted to go full race car with this thing if finding parts became too much of a challenge.

You have to be more careful, you pretty much wiped off most of the bmw symbols on the tyre caps. I know it’s almost impossible to avoid, but power washing them wasn’t the smartest idea

I have my classic. A 68 Mustang GT Fastback with all the options. As well as a 63 Galaxie wagon with buckets and console. My dads first new car. Great job on the little BMW. Would love to see it running again.
I really do like classic cars and I would love to own one. There are a lotta 'em that I can't choose one. I would definitely own one because everything that made them unique or what special features they typical had.
