- This gentle Qigong exercise routine develops flexibility, mobility, and relaxation throughout the upper body, including the wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, and upper back.
While this program focuses specifically on relieving stiffness in the upper body, you may also notice psychological benefits such as lowered stress, more focus, better energy levels, and more positive emotions. As stress levels go down, the immune system, digestion, and detox systems of the body work more efficiently, leading to full body healing.
Qigong treats the whole person - body, mind, and energy - and so yields a variety of benefits even as it treats a specific ailment. This meditative movement practice can also be good for headaches and insomnia.

Nick. I want you to know that I have been experiencing chronic pain in back and shoulder. I started doing your exercisers and in just 2 days I FEEL GREAT. I never would have tried Qi Gong, but I stumbled across a video for bioenergetics and then found your bioenergetics.
I have had hip problems for years like 30+. Shoulder problems too. I walked no mater what but it finally got so bad I couldn't walk. I didn't want to my hips hurt so bad. A couple days doing this routine and I'm walking again (paths in my yard with my dogs) my hips are still off kilter but I can and want to walk again. Last couple of days I was digging up weeds in my fields. First day wasn't so great but today no problem. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and helping others. Blessings.

Hey Nick, my shoulder has been pretty painful for atleast a year. Qi Gong really helped me release the tensions and in particular my shoulder has been in pretty good shape, I can paint again! Lifting groceries has been a breeze lately so am grateful 🙏 I have been doing this particular exercise almost daily for a few months. I have also recommended to friends and strangers who happen to have shoulder injuries or other injuries on your channel. I had this in my Watch Later for a long time. Since suffering terribly from shoulder, arm and neck pain recently, I found Nick's session and want to say how much better I feel for doing it. I love Qi Gong for its meditative qualities, deep breathing and relaxation. I shall continue in the hope that all pain will eventually leave my body; I have stopped smoking after 40-odd years so I wasn't expecting to get away with anything. This is an excellent routine, thank you. It really helped shirt the stiffness in my neck and shoulders after I suffered a blow to the side of my head - dangerous work gardening! I am really grateful for all that you are doing to support people in their efforts to maintain health.
