nothing beats OG Jhin. but I do like what they did with this new one. though it isn't as good, i feel like they did their best to bring it as close to the original as they possibly could, all while bringing a different feel to it. here's what i mean: LoL Jhin sounds sharp, enthusiastic and focused. the way he says stuff with quick breaths and brimming with excitement really makes him sound like an actual psychopath who is razor-sharp focused on what he does. he puts the maximum amount of effort into his performances so he can truly be satisfied with himself. he outdoes himself every time. Quinton really brings to light this passion Jhin feels for his work. LoR Jhin sounds laid back and bored, but I feel like his vocabulary is a tiny bit more thematic and elegant than LoL Jhin. this makes him sound like a professional who's been doing this for so long it's practically muscle memory for him. despite performing the same shows countless times, he still enjoys it nonetheless. both VA styles bring a very very different life to the character and I love them for it but for me, i'll go with LoL jhin any day of the week, because of Quinton's amazing voice acting ability, and how he nails the character (he also set the standard pretty freakin high, being the first. (I also "grew up" with his voice)) ,but LoR jhin isn't too far behind. i just wish the LoR VA could match the enthusiasm LoL Jhin brings to the table. (P.S. the sexual harassment allegations against Quinton Flynn were proven false in court)
They were not. The only person verifying anything of court stuff was Quinton Flynn himself; he provided no proof of anything about the person who accused him, he just strongly insinuated it because he has something to hide and know people like him enough to believe him just because. He might be innocent, but he's objectively not a reliable source for this information.
I wish Jhin had interactions with blade dance as well, I wonder how he would critique the dancers! Or even Tenor and Bass' singing! 🤣 I imagine he'll be all Simon Cowell on those two.
I definitely get not wanting to do a one to one impression of an other VA's work, but I think that with Jhin especially it's kind of a mistake not to at least shoot for a similar place. His original lines have SUCH a theatricality that really help sell the character and this version is just... a muffled guy?
Riot did him dirty. Let's not forget Jhin's original voice actor, Quinton Flynn, was falsely accused of sexual misconduct, and Riot dropped him without waiting for proof. Quinton Flynn is the voice of many of our favorite childhood characters including, Iruka from Naruto, Kon from Bleach, Raiden from Metal Gear, Axel / Lea from Kingdom Hearts, Kolyat Krios from Mass Effect, Silver the Hedgehog from Sonic, Sheldon from My Life as a Teenage Robot, and of course Jhin from League of Legends. And this isn't including his storied career of many other voices and characters from games and anime.
If Jhin ever meet Raiden, Jhin is likely very interested with him if he know Raiden background, calling him a born artist but talent that have yet to be polished (he offer to teach Raiden how to make his "art" beautiful which Raiden of course ultimately rejecting it)
If i have a penny for avery time a corporate dropped an artist because of false accuse case, i'll have two pennies. It isnt much, but its weird that it happen twice.
The VA did a good job but trying to imitate the original seems far from perfection. Quinton's voice puts a shiver down my spines like I was talking to someone that could extinguish my life of me in just a matter of second

I would really love a tv series focused around jihn. because i really want to see what he does in motion. We've seen some of it in the zed comic and some in Awaken. but i want to see a bit more. specifically what he does when he isnt in the middle of being hunted by a champion
bonus points if the series is on Jhin's eyes meaning blood splatter and flesh scattering would have an artistic look and colorful
@@iwatchstuffs7933 similar to that scene in the Suicide Squad where Harley starts killing everyone and there's no blood just flowers!
@@gwenethp511 Pyro goggles be like xD
Annie will be the "Azula" Of Noxus, mark my work
"Grudges are the anchors that drown small men" damn that's deep
*Deep SFX plays*
I am bad w/ English vocabulary and Jhin's voiceline just wanted me to open the dictionary. Love it.
He is always so refined, I love it!
A shame we didn't get more Jhin interactions with both Zed and Shen
Probably just didn’t wanna have to pay the zed and shen va’s more for just a couple extra lines but yea I was really looking forward to that
Jhin's new voice is so bad holy
Funny thing is, the traits Manasoul Student is talking about in 10:13 are all Noxus spells
"And I went wush! wush! and they dieded :D"
"Both your parents?"
The shift in tone and voice depth gets me every time
Jhin is just such a mezmerizing character.
10:21 Some people may want to have Annie in their classes, so they can use this kind of "skip class" tactic. 🔥
Annie's voice acting is adorable...and terrifying lol
“Without Sound…”
“That’s why it’s called background sound”
Lol
jhin voice sounds so menacing, in league he is just intimidating
He's just standing here
REALIZING
i like how the mad killer is the one telling the mad kid to study
Jhin
Cost:4
ATK:4
HP:4
And leveled up deals 4 dmg to stunned units
And if he is in the hand or on the board he activates the lotus trap 4x to level up
I do prefer Jhins voice in League to his voice here
nothing beats OG Jhin. but I do like what they did with this new one. though it isn't as good, i feel like they did their best to bring it as close to the original as they possibly could, all while bringing a different feel to it. here's what i mean:
LoL Jhin sounds sharp, enthusiastic and focused. the way he says stuff with quick breaths and brimming with excitement really makes him sound like an actual psychopath who is razor-sharp focused on what he does. he puts the maximum amount of effort into his performances so he can truly be satisfied with himself. he outdoes himself every time.
Never I have been more terrified and adore from Annie
I think Annie’s cat ears look like little devil horns, and that fits her much better.
Jhin is somewhat fathering Annie not for the better, but because she could aide him perfectly.
I would like a bard - asol/zoe interaction where bard responds with sounds
Jhin casually roasting the champions that failed to stop him
I definitely get not wanting to do a one to one impression of an other VA's work, but I think that with Jhin especially it's kind of a mistake not to at least shoot for a similar place. His original lines have SUCH a theatricality that really help sell the character and this version is just... a muffled guy?
Because that's how a guy with a mask sounds like
6:20 I CANNOT this is so cute
They should record new quotes for older champions, i would like to see a real interaction between jhin and shen
I wish more interactions were put into League, would make the world much bigger
The Sea's Voice is the certified grandma that just gives you way too much food and always makes you smile.
It is me or jhin sounds like Severus Snape?
the voice is so different
He sounds much more in control than the old va.
@@mistared4021 old VA. Is gold
At first, I thought Jhin was gonna be my favorite part of this expansion. But, goddamn it, Illaoi and her followers are just... too darn likable!
I'd love to see the Ravenbloom Conservatory kids in Arcane as their own group story in the future
The VA did a good job but trying to imitate the original seems far from perfection. Quinton's voice puts a shiver down my spines like I was talking to someone that could extinguish my life of me in just a matter of second
We will never forgot when Raiden and Jhin once share the same voice actor
Also Axel/Lea
Annie's voicelines remind me so much of Jinx from Arcane... both are orphaned children who are at least slightly homocidal and cheerful in an insane and terrifying way
You know what's funny? They are worshipping an all powerful sea god, and they are happy when it arrives. But you can just turn it into a 3/3 mini-manatee. I wonder how they'll react after seeing that. xD
Daani sounds so jolly, if only he knew what happened to his parents.
"YoU gOt A wEiRd EyE mR jHiN"
"You're so much bigger in real face"
And I love her .. unexpected
also a really good one when you declare attack
"What's your favowite Aminal"
Everyone is talking about Annie while just disappointed why Jhin voice is robotic like Skynet terminators
Quinton Flynn's Jhin is always a joy to hear!
i watched Jhin and had that sensation that something was missing and then i realized that its missing that angelic chorus on the background
that chorus was bard
12:05 I love her faith and confidence
10:02 is so adorable, oh my god.
Love the Annie interaction 🔥🤍
Can't wait to see Bards interactions
...
ngl I was hoping for some interactions with Annie and the other Noxus champions.
Jhin saying "Discord is required" out of context is so funny to me
Was just thinking and looking for this on your channel, did your read my mind while im pooping? 😂
That "dieded" makes it so much more charming, adoable.
