For the headlights, I installed Xpel 3m headlight protectors on the lenses when the car was new. Just a couple years ago I replaced the film and the lenses were truly like new everywhere the protectors covered. Only around the edges where it did not cover was hazy. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to keep the car for years.
HAHA! Yup all that APC stiff from pep boys was everywhere when I was in high school! Those light up window washers where how you knew someone was out cruising the boulevard in our town.
Boosted Boiz just got a S2000, you should try reach out and offer some stuff, maybe just send them a care package to see if they open it and send some viewers your way. Offer help and advice on supercharging maybe. I would be stoked if I saw something from either channel appear on the other channel.
recently got hit by a semi in my S and it being lowered may have kept it from flipping. awaiting on this guys insurance to total it out. huge depressing empty spot in my garage now after owning the car for 10 years
Holy Crap. Usually you mention’Semi’ in an accident you’re not often around to talk about it. So sorry for your loss on an S2000, but glad able post about it.
@@LHTPerformance pushed my driver door for about a mile on the interstate going about 70mph. The police said i was very lucky alive. I'm really hoping that i'm able to save it after insurance totals it. the damage is shockingly not as bad as i'd thought. Would love to show you some pictures!
Cerakote headlight restoration lasts ~ 2 years and leaves them looking brand new. Rather pay $30 once every 2 years than $430 every 6, which is how long the OEM headlights go before they start fading in FL.
I’d like to see it in person. We have a guy that restores headlights near by and it doesn’t look right. The lenses are shiny but thick and distorted. Not sure what he uses. Most S2000 owners don’t store their are in the sun these days.
@@brodilla90 They're not exactly OEM, but they're OEM quality, and they're AP2 lights for an AP1 because it has the cutout for the AP1 ballast, but the projector and lamp is AP2.
My arobbins top is delaminating and they said they will replace but not pay for labor. This makes me 100% recommend OEM forever. Pay more but do it once. Not like me.
Oh man I remember the apc white faces lol guilty I had a set of the indiglow brand on my Prelude SH circa 2002, do you remember the Runabout adjustable speed blinker control? I want to say the company was called runabout then pilot remade it years ago.
Big fan of your channel. Been watching 90% of your videos. I wish you were here in Cape Town, South Africa. I would have my S2000 at your workshop in a heartbeat. I messaged you on your Facebook but not sure if you replied yet. I’m looking to purchase the OEM soft top please. Can you guide me please to buy one of these? Thank you again for so much detailed information sharing.
Hey buddy, I think I answered you. We don’t sell the soft tops without installation. We don’t trust shipping them and short supplies means we want to install them for our customers

I am the original owner of a silver AP-1 that LHT has worked on before. Is it possible to get on your schedule for a new oem soft top? I'm in Tierra Verde. Several months out would be fine.
Yes, your local Honda dealer...the cost of shipping will likely negate any savings buying one from a HONDA DEALER willing to sell them over the internet.
Can the glass window soft top directly replace the plastic window soft top, or are modifications needed? I know you did a video about it years ago, but can’t remember what you said. 😕
@@LHTPerformance Gotcha. I’m just curious if any upholstery/soft top place out here would be able to do it the right way. After watching all your videos I feel like I can’t trust anyone to work on my car except you guys lol. Thanks for the response.
@@tmango78 It’s a big job but not rocket science. Most times we work on an S2000 that’s previously had a top replaced it screwed up. Clips and screws missing, most cases the rear drain rail isn’t attached to the top correctly. Even dealerships mess them up as most current techs have never worked on them.
Can you guys make some cool stuff for the new 11th gen Civic’s for all trim levels sometime in the future? I’d love to see some things made and some ideas for custom products for these chassis that would be awesome! I always watch you guys and gal and love the hard work and attention to detail on everything you all do keep up the awesome work! ✌🏻😎

That’s a great idea when new.
I found an APC windshield banner a few years back while cleaning out the garage, from 2002 when I was 16. 🤣
They were everywhere back in the day. Not it’s a rare item
You guys are amazing , if I ever can get another S2000 you will fix it ! My biggest car regret is selling my 04 S2000 that car was alive !
Would definitely buy a Template for S2000 emblem install….
The new roof makes the car look much newer.
There are no perfect people but I really love the effort you guys put into your work. Thanks for doing what you do.😊👌🏾👍🏽
I need that logo template for sure.
I'm definitely excited about the JRSC H22 news! Thanks guys

Another job done to 100%. Looks LHT great.
That idea For the badges is pretty trick
Black emblems Yay! Looks like the radiator cap not on all the way.
more nice work
Just bought an ebay canvas top. Works and looks great
You could 3D print a perfect template for them and sell them along with the badges.

top notch like always
100 percent would buy a template.
Once we perfect it they will be ready. I don’t want see any more botched up S2000 logos. Lol.
When you had just the template on I thought it might look cool to just paint the emblems in instead of badges. Or stickers, like the vtec decals.

Direct from Honda. We order and they ship when available
Very nice

What does an OEM soft top replacement cost? Including labor
Including parts labor, upgraded elastic new hardware. $2600

We had a customer pay for freight shipping and needed up being $580 as it’s large and fragile

The sierra tops are better quality than OEM with better fit. Not sure why people would pay twice as much for an OEM top. The material is inferior.
