Been an Acura/Honda tech for a long time. Valve adjustments are overlooked by a lot of people. We do them as part of the 100,000 mile service and I’ve had many customers call back and say how much better the car runs after.

Nice video, what do you think about those camshafts quality wise? Some say that they are regrinded oem cams and you have to screw the adjustment screw all the way in to get proper valve lash.

That is a great video. I don't know much about valve adjustments and I have a few questions that may seem basic to you and most of your viewers.
My 2004 S2000 has 81,500 kilometers on the motor. I'm not sure when of if it has ever been adjusted as I've only put 2,000 kms since purchasing it in 2020. What is the recommended mileage to make a valve adjustment on the S2000?
Also asking because I own a 1994 Integra GSR with almost 90,000 kms. I bought it new in 94. The service rep at Acura told me to ignore the valve adjustment service recommended to be done at 48,000 kms and to wait for the next recommended interval at 96,000 kms to adjust the valves. I barely drive the Integra 350 to 500 kms per year these last few years. Should I go ahead and have the valves adjusted because of the age of the car, or wait until the valves get loud, or wait until 96,000 kms? Currently, there is no discernable excessive valve knock when the engine runs.

You will notice a distinct whine after they are installed. Listen closely then you know what i mean. One can see in the video the adjustment bolts have to be turned down all the way to make up for what has been grinded away from the oem cam. Thats what these cams are regrinded oems.
Just include idling noise with some revving in the next video and i know this noise can be heard.
