I can't believe he's replacing that top it doesn't even look like it needs replaced. Also do you recommend getting a forbidden oem style hardtop or try tracking down a white oem or just get silver oem and repaint? My top from 07 is now starting to wear down. Plan to eventually bring the car next year from Colorado (originally Georgia) to you for some much needed tlc/ small maintenance
I think it’s worth mentioning the correct fixing because the video is encouraging people to wreck their rotor screws. The video refers to the “philips head” numerous times which I believe it is not. Correct me if I’m wrong. It’s a JIS screw which is designed to take much more torque than a philips head. So using a philips head is the wrong tool for the job.
Peejay Em we have just got used to calling it a ‘Philips’. It’s often what people are used to hearing. We actually use ‘Posi Drive hardened bits’. They are basically the same angles. Even if I spent 30 minutes showing how to this exactly, someone would find fault.

We’ve boosted a handful of S2000s over 200k believe it or not. I would recommend a leak down and compression test first. Also monitor oil consumption before making the decision.
Do you add driveshaft spacers when fitting the coil over kits or is this only necessary when dropping the ride height over 50mm. Thanks. Great channel by the way.
My top is completely trashed, what is the average price for a new top and installation cost as well as how to avoid it tearing in the first place? I watch a video from sentries saying to grind some parts of the metal bar that rub aggressively on some contact points. Thanks
Hello LGTperformance, I have a 2003 Honda s2k in perfect condition with 163k miles. I’m planning on putting in a kraftswerk supercharger but even though the car is in great condition, do you think the car can last a while having the supercharger in? I’m well aware of the risks if not done properly.
Your screw removal technique is less effective the further north you go. What you call rusty is showroom condition to many. I did chuckle at your rust naivety, LOL

Shiven Vyas If the motor is in good condition, I wouldn’t be afraid of Supercharging it. We’ve done plenty of high mileage S2000s.

John, I have CV grease on the drivers side everywhere. The boot is all there and the clamps are on. Is it possible to leak through the CV bucket?
777aterial You need to check for a small split. It doesn’t take much for the grease to spray out under centrifugal load.
