Great video! Thank you very much for posting it. Related question:
Does the power steering fluid need to be drained, or partially drained, from the reservoir before you replace the power steering pump? Or, can the reservoir be at full (max line) capacity?
I’m asking because last week I had a local mechanic replace the main power steering hose (complicated job ~ 2 or 3 hours) and when he was done he put almost 3 bottles of the Honda certified power steering fluid back into the reservoir. So, it’s full now and I’d rather not drain any of it in order to replace the power steering pump myself (thanks to this video) ….. if I don’t have to alter or drain the fluid. That would be ideal.

Thanks for the great video! Did you replace the O-rings for the new pump? I know those can be an issue with these. Also, do you usually flush the system when you install a new pump?

How come you didn't change out the o-rings when installing the new pump? Also, is it bad to restart the pump when it's dry? Thanks.

I think o rings are not always necessary to be changed and also to pump just gonna run one second without liquid

You dt need to do any bleed on power steering pump replacement. You keep ur car running abit the stiff will be gone.
