I never thought about the fact that smart glasses prob are dope for vlogging? The 60 second timer is somewhat a bummer tho. But imagine how u can vlog food stuff without it being too awkward having the camera all over the place for a good angle xD Instead you just look super interested in the dish xD

@@TrendingNews4You I don't believe there's a streaming limit beyond the roughly 4 hours you supposedly get from the glasses battery-wise while streaming.
I think you could create a Instagram account with no followers and do a live stream and have it saved for later

These have so nuch potential! Is the transition clear to dark a forced thing indoor/ outdoor or can you choose say you want dark for both? Debating on getting transition or just regular
I’m hating these transition lenses for indoors. They’re like…cloudy. I haven’t taken them outside yet. You can’t like “force” them to be sunglasses indoors though, nor can you prevent them from darkening outside.

I’m absolutely returning this pair after I decide if the recording functionality is gonna live up to what I need it for. I’ll get the clear lenses if I continue.

😮 I had no idea they made brand new ones! I bought the Ray-Ban stories a couple months ago! They definitely needed more features! Also I didn't know you had a tech channel papi!❤

Can we use this for driving, can it record everytime?
Only does 60 second recording. You can livestream to your Facebook or Instagram accounts though.
Can't seem to find out... Does the video loop the 60 seconds .. meaning, does it keep recording and keep the last 60 seconds. Or is it just a flat 60? Thanks.
Flat 60. Saves it as a recording on the glasses. You can record a lot of 60 second clips...damn shame they limit it to that.

If I have existing “New Wayfarer” sunglasses, can I just swap my lenses in for the ones that come with these? Or are they some weird, oddly non-customizable size?
I only use these to listen to music. Found the camera stuff kinda weird and creepy.
Is the battery life improved on the new ones? The old ones I had to charge after about 4 hours.
I also found them to be a bit heavy and uncomfortable to wear after a while.
Supposedly you can livestream to IG or FB for 4 hours of battery with these, so it might last even longer just listening to music? The music quality’s great and I don’t find them at all heavy or uncomfortable. The streaming video quality is not great and I’ll cover that in a follow up video but there’s almost zero chance I’m keeping these.

The light stays on as long as the camera is recording or streaming

Yes, there is a model or two with clear lenses. Bear in mind people will know you’re filming due to the light that can’t be covered.

1) Can I buy the US$299.00 model and place the transition lens with myopia correction degree in an optician?
2) Can the Meta Ai on the glasses now be used like GPT Chat, that is, ask any question, on any subject, and receive the answer via audio (even if only in English)? Example: I ask for a recipe, he answers me. I ask where to eat a good pizza in Miami, he answers me. I ask for updates on a particular conflict over Iran or Russia and he updates me.
1) yep you can get your own prescription lenses! Not sure about the details beyond that.
2) It does have features like that but I admittedly didn’t test them much. Might be another video out there than can dig into the AI more.

USB-C. They were stingy and didn’t include a cable as far as I can tell.

Nope, it's a safety feature for the public. Even knows if you try to cover it up.

Standard/Large whatever not the XL. I haven’t had them on for more than 10min or so though.

@@artofsoundentertainment8145yes I found out that people can hear me if I yell and they say I sound like I’m underwater or very distorted…also my “hey meta” doesn’t work…called the tech support line and they had me reset the glasses a few different ways and unpair them but no luck…going to return to the store for a replacement hope this isn’t a wide problem
@@artofsoundentertainment8145 found the answer myself-I said “hey meta turn up microphone volume” and it turns it up and people can hear you…

They put them in special for the dummies like the reviewer that just throw away the glasses and warranty paper without reading it when the product broken within warranty. Yes, let’s be stupid a wasteful and just buy a new one when all you have to do mail it In and exchange for a new working one for free.

Right from the start, I knew it was going to be a bad review, the comment you made about "nobody reads the instructions, get rid of them" I knew.
