I can't believe we have to keep jailbreaking our iPad minis for the split view feature. They clearly still won't let us have it despite the mini 2 being well capable of split view as proven by jail breaking it...
AVM3798 I didn't find it much slower than 10. By the way a factory reset can do wonders to iOS 10 too. But do not update now, most of the 3rd party apps run buggy.
MightyJay 200 You are not the first one with this issue, it's because it's a beta. You should factory reset first or if it doesn't help then restore iOS 10. It will fix this problem.
You can factory reset from settings/general I think. To reinstall iOS 10, press the power+home buttons until it turns off. Now press home button and while pressing, connect the cable which is connected to the computer (it should show Connect to iTunes screen) Download 10.3.2 firmware for your device from ipsw.me, then open iTunes, press Shift while pressing Restore button, then choose the ipsw file you just downloaded. When you are in an app, the first swipe brings up the app dock, and yes it needs a second swipe for the control center. I'm sure there will be a gesture for it though.

sunny garg yes, it became smoother and more stable after resetting, it would help your charging problem. if you have backup then you can restore your old state easily.

Yeah I had problems with freezing control centre while using the beta. It was because I didn't do a factory reset after updating.

That's not true, iPad mini 2 fully supports iOS 11. First generation iPad minis fit your description.
