As a new baseball fan who never witnessed this feat, I’m really glad they’re deciding to provide this opportunity to revisit it. Can’t wait to have Kersh back. 💙
10 Years ago! I'm the guy in the front row wearing a Pedro Guerrero jersey losing his shit. Thank you, Kersh! I hope the rehab is going well and we can't wait to see you on the mound again. 💪🙏 This is our year and It would not be the same without you.
Props with the Guerrero jersey, bro. People tend to forget about him. Especially, with those classic 80s lineups with Garvey, Cey, Baker, Sax, Scioscia, Russell, Yeager, Monday, etc. 👍
It would have been perfect but for that one Hanley unforgivable and unforgiven error but I digress, thank you for putting this video together and for letting me relieve the moment and seeing a young Miguel Rojas talk about it. Let's go Dodgers!
It's basically a perfect game + 1. He basically retired 28 batters, didn't allow any baserunners that were his fault, and prevented the runner on 2nd from scoring anyway, when most perfect games have the privilege of never having to worry about a runner on base.
I was there and my wife , girlfriend then, she wanted to leave in the 4th inning and I was telling her that we needed to stay because there was no hit. Glad I did stay. It was amazing. I remember when kenley made the error and everyone around me were upset but I was yelling the no hitter was still in effect but the perfect game was not available anymore. Loved it.
Love the Goat CK! My dad was at this game. Called me from the stadium to make sure I was watching. I told him hell yeah and I couldn't hear anything when he called me when it was over. But the Cabo i was at with friends watching for a close friend's birthday was losing their mind too. What a game. What a guy. Long live King 👑 KERSH!
I remember watching this game and feeling anxious with every pitch. I was very happy for Kersh and I'll never forget the last out of the no hitter! I can't wait for him to return to the rotation. Go Dodgers!
Two comments: Thanks for the no-hitter on my birthday CK! Did anyone else catch the tricep tightness comment? I guess Yoshi might be out a few weeks. Let's go Blue and cant' wait to see CK back again soon.
Went to that game and sat in the Left Field Pavillion. Buddy had extra tickets, so He offered them. Kershaw was on another level that day. Our group of friends kept quiet until the 8th, because we didnt wanna jinx anything haha
My wife and I where there behind home plate (dugout club). You can see us on every pitch. Fun fact, my wife got the tickets through her job by the owners, they couldn’t make it that day. They were so mad the next day. But they told her “at least the tickets went to some true Dodgers fans”
kershaw is the GOAT. his legacy would be so much different if hanley didnt boot that grounder and the astros didnt cheat. i was working during the game...was finally able to see the tv and the situation and the score first thing i said was "why is hanley still playing short...." would have and should have gone down as one of the best perfect game performances EVER
There is such an immense sadness around this knowing that out of his hand he pitched a perfect game. The ONLY mistake was an error from the first baseman 😞
I was 16 years old in 2014 when Clayton Kershaw made history as a No Hitter I was home watching it while eating Del Taco but after that my step dad told me a story about Fernando Valenzuela who also made a No Hitter back in 1990 and man I love to hear Dodger stories and now I’m 26 years old now lol 😂
Still a shame Hanley Ramierez wrecked Kershaw's perfect game on a play a little leaguer makes. It was the greatest game ever pitched even with the error. 15 K's and only one ball was even hit moderately hard, the grounder to third just after the error. Thankfully Rojas made a great play.
This feels like it was yesterday. Dang. A decade. Poof. 😮 Same year as the Australia games, and the Beckett no hitter. I watched these or listened to these games. Wow.
Do you guys remember when the Astros beat you in your own stadium to win the World Series get a real World Series title guys. Not a 60 game season apocalypse hitting the world title.😂
@@JonathanAufderheide-ln8pr do you guys remember when multiple players came forward and said they were not the only team cheating in this way. Even Josh Reddick said there were some funny stuff going on when he was with the Dodgers.

I was at this game will never forget it
Amazing to see AJ again, as well as to relive this beautiful memory! Kershaw is a Dodger legend forever
2014 Dodger starting pitching was crazy. Kershaw, Greinke, Dan Haren, Ryu, and Josh Beckett.
Let’s get this man another 💍! King Kersh!
Such a historical moment! A milestone for Kersh and to hear Vin again is just awesome!
Can't Wait For Clayton to return. Lets go dodgers

The man the myth the legend one of my biggest heroes in my life Clayton Kershaw
Oh man I loved our 2014 team. I went to the game the night before on 6/17/14 and remember being so bummed I didn’t go the next day instead 😭😂
One of the greatest to ever do it. 💙💙💙
Watching this game never gets old ,he was so good

This is my favorite baseball moment of all time! Love Kershaw, he is my literal childhood hero ❤
The GOAT.

Thank you @Los Angeles Dodgers for uploading this to RUclips, can you do the same for backstage Dodgers please?
No kidding. 😭
No matter how stacked these Dodger rosters get, Kershaw will always be my favorite player.

Hopefully Walker can get you a no hitter tonight
Happy Birthday @exedis

Talk about complete dominance! WOW!
Chills! Amazing to relive this incredible moment. Can't wait to have Kersh back & to see Miggy Ro playing behind him again.
Beautiful 🥹
I remember the day I went to that game 💙

That play by miguel rojas at third is still one of the best plays ive ever seen
AJ is class !
Great production. Thanks for sharing this
Who misses every old dodger player
King kersh!
Man what memories loved the 13-14 dodgers that started this new era
LETS GO 22 KERSHAW!
SO NICE TO SEE VINNY AGAIN
RIP Vin. Still haven't gotten used to you not calling Dodger games. All due respect to the current announcers. I simply miss hearing Vin.
No hitter is amazing
Miss you Vin

Nothing better than getting to relive Vin Scully calling this game
Kershaw the only one!!!
I first heard Vins voice in 1965 with Sandy on the mound .I miss his voice. 😢 He is on the other side for sure .
So good to hear Vin Scully's voice.
Great to see AJ Ellis.
Legendary Kershaw
GOAT
Go dodgers 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍🫶🦅
Fuck man RIP Vin Scully. Always special to hear his voice. Shout out Kershaw. Gangster forever
Hope he retires as a dodger , perfect legacy .
Same. 💙
Hope to see Kersh stay and retired as Dodgers
This was on my 20 th birthday. I was 5 rows away from the Rockies bench.
I was there that day lol me Jacob uncle Hector. We randomly went to the game as well.
When will Clayton back to the game this season? Does his ingure ready to get well?
Now if you don't mind I'm going to sit back and watch it with you. Vintage Vin

I remember watching this i was pacing around the tv
should have been a perfect game 😞
Hanley’s fault it was not a perfect game!!! Yes, I’m still salty.

me too, little league play. robbed Kershaw of his perfect game.

I was at that no hitter!! I was 1 years OLD!!!
Is it just me or does A.J. Ellis look kinda like Will Smith?
What’s up yall
AJ reminding me of Will Smith !
In a way, this was more special and impressive than the perfect game. He had to get 28 outs instead.
David Vassegh talking like he has a gun pointed at his head
I told you to shave those sideburns Mattingly.
19:18 GREG GIBSON THE HOME PLATE UMPIRE
Should have been a perfect game… thanks Hanley
I was so pissed when Hanley blew the perfect game. It's baseball and I know it happens, but, Kershaw should have been in the perfect game club.
Skill-wise… he is.
Jimmy Rollins WOULDN'T throw it away like that for Roy!!
This feels like it was yesterday. Dang. A decade. Poof. 😮 Same year as the Australia games, and the Beckett no hitter. I watched these or listened to these games. Wow.
this opening with vin 😪😪😪
finger injured nothing. hanley choked. if you can play then you're not injured
Me
Does AJ remind you of Will
Or does Will remind you of AJ
I will never forgive Hanley Ramirez. Not ever.
Is this the one where Manny Machado messed up a routine play that ruined Kershaw's perfect game?
Hanley Ramirez.
Much respect for being a player that he is and the success he had. But Kershaw in my book is always Chokeshaw.
‘Cause of 2017? When the Houston Asterisks knew what pitch he was going to throw?
Go Astros
🗑️
Definitely not the right place. For so many reasons.
Do you guys remember when the Astros beat you in your own stadium to win the World Series get a real World Series title guys. Not a 60 game season apocalypse hitting the world title.😂
Do you guys remember when the Houston Asterisks cheated with a trash can to win the World Series over the Dodgers in seven games?
@@JonathanAufderheide-ln8pr do you guys remember when multiple players came forward and said they were not the only team cheating in this way. Even Josh Reddick said there were some funny stuff going on when he was with the Dodgers.
