Fortnite struggles in Windows 11, explaining why even at 8k, you couldn't hit 99% gpu usage outside of Epic settings on native. Though I wonder why you didn't test RT performance.
At the time we thought next gen consoles were decently powerful but if these consoles last another 6 years then PC gaming will be at 8K in the next 2 generations of gpus. However, I think the focus is wrong I think we should stick to 4k and worry about the detail

Finally, 8k gaming is here! I care about graphics and res above fps, no interest in fps so long as it's 45 minimum or 60fps for shooters and racers. With a 4090ti it will be finally nice and easy
i dont know why but my msi rtx 3080 ti with a mem oc 500 and it can run most games in 8k high and i get around 60 to 70 fps and most games ive noticed only use about 10 to 11gb vram
The rtx 4090 is an entry level 8k and a native 4k card. I mean put your games at 8k medium to high and lock it at either 60fps(if most of these games can hit it or lock it to 30 fps and play with a controller if the game is made for the controller).

8k at 60 fps is just mind blowing! I will be sticking with 4k for now, but it's actually mad what this card is capable of. Should get mine today! 🙏 looks like you just need to upgrade that cpu, bottlenecking a fair bit, especially in spiderman. The next gen probably won't make that much difference however.
Idk where you've been looking but there's absolutely no CPU bottleneck at all anywhere in this benchmark, his 7950X is doing just fine at 15-25% utilization in Spiderman and 3-30% on average throughout

I feel 30-series "started" the 8K gaming entry and 40-series is making it even more possible. Overall I think 8K gaming is still years away but I'm glad we're seeing more and more 8K-possible gameplays. I remember 4K gaming being "impossible" due to the strain on the hardware but now with the 40-series, 4K runs almost flawlessly. I think maybe 60-series GPU will finally give us that relatively easy gaming at 8K.
4090 can play GTA V at 16k45 Low settings, or 16k25 Very High settings (16k very high uses over 20GB vram though) HZD at 8k48 Ultra settings with Balanced DLSS seems pretty nice, idk what the issue is
