Bollywood is just mad that Sonu Nigam is taking a stand against the bureaucratics that go on behind the scenes that we the public never see on screen. If you know Sonu's nature as a person and how highly he thinks of singing (and music in general), you know everything he's exposing is the truth. I'm just glad someone is speaking up because I've been noticing this for a while and how Indian Idol has taken a deep dive off a cliff from where it used to be.

I also went to Indian Idol. They asked me if I have cracked IIT, I refused. So they said to impress Sonu Nigam you have to crack Nagar Nigam paper. This broke my heart but still I sang with my lungs out and at last I cracked all the papers in India. Thank you Anu Malik Ji and Rakhi Sawant Di for your motivation.

when you record a song do you record a faulty performance or is the singer allowed to sing again and correct his mistakes? It doesn't happen in all performances only those who sing really bad due to nervousness are allowed to correct themselves by singing again.. and obviously they sing better than others, it's not like you can modify the voice of that participant, it's his/her real voice and most of the times, it's the first take only. Like I said those who sing really bad or not upto minimum standards are allowed to sing again n correct their parts.

This is what actually happens when truly tremendous people like "Sonu Nigam Ji" bring out the truth. The actors manipulate people in such a way that they tend to be very much innocent whereas one of the greatest artist like "Sonu Nigam Ji" aren't given chances anymore. Word "Reality" should be removed from Singing, Dancing shows as they have become daily soaps. They are running for 9 months, 10 months. No eliminations, no critical judgements and now they have started to promote nepotism. If viewers have to vote and decide who will win there is there a need for judges?

The actual essence of these shows was when judges would point out their mistakes and we would get to be a part of process too... Idk which investigation team is on work but literally no one likes the shit they are serving to us now... I used to make sure i never miss an episode but now I can't even bear to watch them... Miss the days when legends like sonu nigam, shreya ghoshal or sunidhi chauhan were part of it.... I'll never understand why they keep making shows worse day by day... The day they bring back the dignity of the shows, trp will reach heights!

I was selected in IGT 2018, but I opted out of the scene because of the dirty reality. I was asked if I had any sad stories, no I didn't have any, so I along with my other mates who had been selected were asked to provide them with a sad story that will take up People's emotions in India. Also, there lie more hidden truths that I don't wanna reveal, being at the growing stage in my field. But friends, Talent Shows in India are definitely not worth your time and importance. I believe that if you have talent and you know how to achieve your goals, then no one can stop you from achieving them. It might take you another year extra but it will be worth it. DREAM BIG! WORK HARD! WORK IN SILENCE!

Sonu is right. I’ve watched Indian idol from season 1, it changed too much. Still it’s better than other channel’s singing shows, but it’s become a lot of fake drama now.. 1st season was unbelievably amazing and natural.
