    "What ever happens, happens. There's stuff that I can't control and I'm just going to focus on having fun, every single day, pushing myself every single day" - some of the most important lines you'll often forget but are so important

      Yeh you cant control the talent that you have sometimes its just not enought no matter how hard you work in the very tought comption on going pro with 1000s or ten thoundes of players want to take your spot because there are so many players on your league and ather leagues above you or younger plqyers playing leagues clubs above you

    Enjoying the the process, That’s what I relate to. I’ve been trying to work on that in my field of passion, and I did feel a bit entitled cause I worked hard and wasn’t getting recognition, but I stepped back and talked to some people about my frustrations, I never thought of quoting but the change of mind set felt so refreshing and rejuvenating.

    I am flattered that he has a similar story like me,training almost every single day, making sacrifices for the job he love and giving his time and effort yet rejected and having the same response from multiple professional teams from preseason and trials. Despite all this, he stay dedicated of sharing the same goal i'm grinding for,.

  • @adamchani8363
    @adamchani8363 6 лет назад +24

    Matt! Please respond, what do you think is the biggest misconception of being a pro soccer player? I remember you saying a lot that you have a lot of free time, but how? Shouldn't we be training a lot but then again balencing it out so we don't get hurt? Also, I'm sure you've heard other soccer players that have played with Ronaldo that, Ronaldo shows up to practice so many hours prior to when it starts, what does he do in all that time? He can't be training cuz then he has practice and he'll be tired and possibly get hurt? Thank you!

    • @oskarchristiansen8334
      @oskarchristiansen8334 6 лет назад +3

      Ronaldo takes shots and freekicks he practices

    • @adamchani8363
      @adamchani8363 6 лет назад

      @@oskarchristiansen8334 yea and that's the thing, I don't get it cuz like teves said back when he was at united practice would be at 9 n he would show up at 6.so what does he do in all that time plus, he would be tired after taking so many shots that's when it would come to his actual team practice then he wouldn't perform at he best

    • @Seiiichiproductions
      @Seiiichiproductions 6 лет назад +1

      Dude that’s the point. Try going to the gym everyday before your practice. I guarantee you will be exhausted for a week, two, three, maybe a month, but then your body will adapt and you will be able to train in the gym for a hour before your main session and then look good in the main session. But it’s the suffering most of the people don’t wish to take and that’s why they stay on their level. Also, the more you practice, the more you need to rest. So you can include 2-3 hours of resting (i mean stuff like rolling, stretching, cold water, jogging). There really is a lot and you can easily train for 5-7 hours everyday, but then you need the same amount of time to rest.

    • @adamchani8363
      @adamchani8363 6 лет назад

      @@Seiiichiproductions oh ok I see what you mean, more you practice the more your body will adapt to the hard work which also means the more you have to rest. I can relate because last year in my high school season, every other practice I would hit the gym afterwards. My original question is why would Ronaldo go 3 or 4 hrs prior to his practice, like what could he possibly do for so long??

    • @Seiiichiproductions
      @Seiiichiproductions 6 лет назад

      Adam Chani You know when you enjoy something, time flies like crazy. Just at the gym there is a lot of excercises to do, which would maybe not take so long if you do 2-3 sets, but who said you cannot do 8-10 if your body allows you to. What I find really taking a lot if time is the mobility stuff (i don’t know how to call it in English but I mean the stuff with minibands etc. + which helps you get dynamic force and prevents injuries a bit). I myself spend nearly a hour just after I wake up, doing these simple excercises, and when I would later go to the gym, I could do another full 1-2 hour session with other excercises. Functional training is another thing that gives you a lot of options. And the main thing is technique on the pitch, I remember going to the field and spending there 3 hours just playing with the ball and practicing simple things, and then later come back for my team session for another 2 hours. It’s all about your knowledge and creativity.

      You shouldn't ever question yourself, that's just a waste of your time, can spend doing training or working on yourself. Question your abilities and ask yourself do I need to improve here, keep improving, no one is perfect, your never gonna be perfect. That mentality will get you so deep into this that you'll forget that you were questioning yourself at the first place. Start today, right now go do some drills. Go for it man, don't leave for later in life where you'll regret it, never have any regrets,. If it doesn't work out, you can always live a average life, that's average but at the least for yourself, you'll know you tried and reached, but that just wasn't for you. JUST DO IT.
