This movie was Incredible! Non stop heart pounding, edge of your seat action. Russell Crowe still brings his absolute best! Liam is finally settling into his own. Loved everything about this movie even when certain people piss you TF off! Def gonna see it a few more times when it's officially released 💯

you know the entire lone survivor thing was debunked by the US military yes? he still had 11 mags when he was rescued the same as he went out with, the SEALs hate the guy because no one is ever going to believe them again.

This is filmed on the Gold Coast....as a local I recognised so many land features in rhe background. Shame it's filmed in Australia with Australian crews and Australian actors but it's about the bloody yanks and not our own Soec Ops guys !!

Who needs fresh ideas when you can just recycle the plot from 1988's "BAT-21" with Gene Hackman and Danny Glover, right? Russell Crowe's mis-casting makes Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher a stroke of genius.
Like his former co-star, Danny Glover, Russell is clearly two films away from a Hallmark Channel audition!
And don't even get me started on the Ho-Humsworth brothers. Luke/Liam are to Chris what a knock-off Rolex is to the real deal - a cheap imitation desperately trying to ride on the coattails of its superior counterpart.
I can already hear Netflix apologizing for cluttering their library with this cinematic masterpiece. It's like they're saying, "Sorry, folks, we had some space to fill, and this was the best we could come up with."
Bravo, Hollywood. Bravo.

Maybe it’s because I’m not great with actor recognition, but I thought that was John Goodman; didn’t realize how old he was. Also thought Russell Crowe was a bit younger and healthier than that.
Kinda feels like they asked Russell Crowe to do a serious character like Goodman would 20 years ago.

Doesn’t look bad, but not seeing more than 2 seconds of a scene. I see people comparing it to _Behind Enemy Lines_ and _BAT-21_ and then claiming it’s exactly like all other action movies. But in modern war, there’s only so many scenarios you can really get; though a rescue op with only 1 survivor left is a bit extreme and specific. At least this time the guy on the ground is an experienced soldier.

A bloke's gotta get paid so I don't blame him, but it's a bit sad to see big Rusty slumming it in such D-grade dross. When he's on form he is an excellent actor, and he's turned in some iconic performances throughout his career. With the glaring and eye-wateringly appalling exception of 30 Odd Foot of Grunts of course - music is not Rusty's forte.
