The full version of "Roulette" is a bonus track on Pearly Gates' 20-track album "On A Winning Streak" that comes with a free DVD. The album contains both new recordings as well as 4 previously unreleased tracks from 1977. It is available from Amazon UK, and I hope you will check it out.
Ian Levine's records with The Flirtations have been aimed at the northern soul circuit whereas 'Roulette' is a pop-disco track with a catchy chorus aimed at those who enjoyed the girls' Hi-NRG records like 'Earthquake'. I am proud to have contributed to The Flirtations' legacy with this track and given them a #10 placing on MusicWeek's Commercial Pop Club Chart just before Christmas - plus a very favourable review in Manifesto too.
