Hey Brittany, I had a baby around the same time you did! You're doing an amazing job and I can see how much you love Arrow🥰💖 If I can offer some advice to make nights a bit easier, I have a basket next to the bed with a portable changing pad, diapers, wipes, sanitizer and aquafor so I don't have to get up and bring her to the nursery every time she poops. Also, it seems like her longest stretch is 5 hours, so maybe consider doing a dream feed (feed her again before you sleep) so that her longest stretch lined up with yours (ie. 10-3 instead of 7-12) because then you can have that longer stretch too ☺️
I love how transparent you are I’m pregnant with my first and stuff like this just makes me feel more prepared instead of thinking it’s going to be all glamorous and instagrammable like other moms these days 💛 your baby is sooooo precious
just add bottles into the mix. then it's 50/50. if you choose not to do bottles in addition, then like you're only doing it to yourself lol. if you CAN"T pump, that's another story.
This made me feel like I’m not alone :( idk why but I got emotional when you asked your hubby to do a diaper change. It’s like I felt how much you gave all night and you never asked once, not until 7am. No matter how much of ourselves we give up through the night, we still try so hard not to bother our partners no matter how tired we are (not saying they don’t offer to help or say to wake them if needed).I felt it when you slide into the mattress, though. 😫
Your comment made me emotional and made me cry 😭 this is how I am with my fiancé...I will wait until the last possible minute and then ask if he can feed her a bottle or change a diaper. It’s so hard to ask for help, but I need it SO bad!
im a SAHM, but even if i worked (IF and i always do breastfeed my babies) i honestly find it soooo useless for the husband (esp first time parents) to be awake at night with baby bcos youll hear their annoyance, or theyll just ask you questions like what to do/if thats normal etc so id rather cut that time and do it myself lol, and i would still have to pump anyway to keep my supply up regardless if he was up with the baby. its hard sometimes to not get annoyed, but honestly id rather this than 2 cranky parents from exhaustion! hang in there x
girl this took the words right from my mouth and the exact comment i was looking for to make me feel like im not alone, i have a 2 month old daughter and ive been feeling so stressed no one told me it would be this hard with no sleep etc the only thing they tell you thats gonna be hard is financially , after knowing im not alone and not the only one who hates having to ask for help throughout the night :(
Why did I get emotional when the clock hit 7 am and your body started to wake up and you didn’t *look* tired/sleepy anymore, you just looked so happy looking at her 🥺💞
Britt is absolutely gorgeous, however, have found the last few posts she has another layer of maternal beauty - taking to motherhood like a duck to water, just amplifies her beauty! 😍
6 weeks postpartum and I relate to this SO HARD! Thank you for keeping me sane with your channel while I was in labor and again while I’m pumping and AGAIN during those 1 am feedings that seem to last until 3 am....
I remember these nights! My son is 2 1/2 now and back to a sleep regression recently 😫.. But you are doing amazing mama! Women are truly superheroes, but please ask for help when you need it! You deserve it. You’re so lucky to have Cody.
ahhh I didn't know the sleep regressions keep going into the toddler years! I know were coming up on the 4th month sleep regression sooon and I'm not ready lol
Natasha Amaral I always feel ridiculous when I’ve nursed little guy to sleep and walk over to his bassinet with the pillow still attached like a tutu and my nip still out
I must be ready to be a mom, because hearing your baby burp was so satisfying! I'm almost 29 weeks now and am so excited to start the journey with my family!!
I have a almost one month little boy and you talking about nights where you get 7 or even 5 hours of straight sleep made me almost cry 😅 I get 2 hours straight if I'm lucky and by 7 or 8 am he stays awake for 4 hours at a time. But Arrow is absolutely adorable. Congratulations to you momma, I knew you were gonna be a good one 😊
Oh my god I can feel so much mother's love in this! This is so emotional and amazing. You are amazing! Thank you for giving birth to&raising such a cute baby.
It’s such an amazing thing. What a woman does during the night for her child. And watching this I just remember how much of a mental tole it took on me, the lack of sleep, the newness of a first child.. I’m now on 19 months of being a mom and every moment was so worth it and my daughter is my whole heart. ♥️
This was so entertaining to watch! I have a nearly 4 week old (my second kid though) and seeing how much you accomplish in the night with your eyes closed is impressive! haha. Thanks for sharing and congratulations! You two are rocking this parenting thing!
This is my life currently with a 2 month old and it just solidifies my thoughts on how badass we are as moms. Some days I am just so exhausted but their morning smiles make it all worth it. 😭 Love your videos. Good job mama.
It gets hard, some days are more difficult than others especially with the lack of sleep. I was so frustrated at times, not at my baby but at myself bc i felt like i didnt do enough even tho she was fed, had a new diaper and i was cuddling and rocking her but she would still cry. Just know that when it gets tough like that, you’re still doing an amazing job and its truly worth it in the end! And if you’re up at 2-3am and you feel that way, wake your partner up and go get yourself some cold water and maybe fresh air, it helps! Good luck with everything, its an amazing experience ❤️
This is the ONLY night routine I’ve seen that is actually real. THANK YOU! My daughter is 7 weeks so she’s pretty close in age and this is almost my night to a t lol and I totally feel you on some nights are amazing sleep, some are just none 😂 I wish I had had this video before I was pregnant, I’m so so happy others will get to watch this and get real insight. You’re amazing and she’s perfect and I just love your attitude! Good job mama 💖💖💖
Wow you are a power mum, I'm expecting my first so thank you so so much for sharing your evening routine with us. This helps a lot, I feel more prepared knowing what to expect. Bless you and your family x
I’m curious about anyone who does have a fridge in their bedroom - isn’t the buzzing and occasional rumbling really annoying? Or do smaller fridges not do that?
I tell you what, this is why I want one of those beauty product fridges on the nightstand. No more sleepy walks to the kitchen with a Hakaa full of milk 😴 Also, the way you roll it back to put it on! I’ll have to try that She’s adorable, you’re beautiful, you guys are rocking it ☺️
Girl, you are doing all the things!! I can’t believe how much you do in the middle of the night. I literally would grab the baby, and fall back asleep in bed as my babies nursed. I NEVER pumped or anything at night, I don’t think I would have survived. I breastfed until 2 years for my first and 1 year for my second, so I tried to make it easy as possible. Everyone is so different though, we all do the best we can!!! Sending so much love.....❤️❤️❤️
Brittany Balyn I think I trained my boobs to just hold the milk. They would get to a certain point, and then stop filling up. But at night, I ended up sleeping with my babies after they woke up the first time. So they could literally turn their head and latch on whenever they wanted to. Probably not what is suggested, but it worked for us. 🤷🏼♀️
Your self care routine was inspiring. We are working on our second and during my first few days home with our first, honestly, for the first few months, I did nothing for myself. I forgot to care for me. I forgot how important it was to do the little things like lotioning my skin and taking a nice calming bath. Thank you for this reminder that it’s just as important for us to nurture ourselves as it is to care for everyone around us.
This is such a realistic night routine with a newborn. My son Harvey just turned one month & this is my night almost all the time 😂 it’s stressing but I love him and together we will make it. Thank you for doing this video.
Dear please make a video on feeding and how you are pumping the milk and what apparatus you are using and how you are saving this milk and how you are reheated. Thanks 🙏 and love you 😘
Duuuude. Why is your baby so cute? I mean i dont think all babies are cute call me crazy...i jus dont. But your baby blows me away...like mind blown...someone besides myself had a beautiful baby!!!!
My daughter is 3.5 weeks old and it is fun watching other newborn videos while I am nursing! My daughter was up from 3:45-5:45am this morning , she was wide awake!
My son will be 6 weeks on Thursday. This is so relatable to my nights as well! What I found has worked for me, as soon as he wakes I unswaddle, change diaper to make sure he’s really awake, keep the room dark! Then nurse, burp and swaddle. Similar to what you do 🤗 I think unswaddling will be good to make sure she gets a FULL feeding and maybe give you longer stretches. Right now, I put my son to bed at 8-830 and last night he didn’t wake until 2am 😱 and then 6am after that and by 8am we’re up for the day getting big brother 🥰
Also, I use the haaka every feed, but I combine the milk from two feeds then refrigerate and wash haaka then all over again 🙂 since it’s room temp I was told it’d be ok to mix 🙂🙂
Been watching your recent videos and I have to say I admire how comfortable you feel with showing your body. I delivered 9 months ago, got saggy skin and stretch marks. In my country (Brazil), showing a real postpartum body is total taboo. We wear a girdle since day 1 post partum, so that makes it much harder for me to accept the new me. Thanks for sharing reality.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I am about to be a mummy in a few months myself and it's nice to see how it is in reality having a newborn, so thanks for sharing :) And your little princess is so gorgeous and precious!
I'm at 6 weeks first trimester. Feeling so annoyed with every tiny things this morning. Watching your video makes me feel joy for some reason. Thank you though to show the real side. Your baby is really cute.
It’s crazy to see the variance of how babies are. At that age my first was giving me 45 min stretches of sleep all night 😬. She’s lovely Brittany and you’re doing an amazing job 🥰
When I was BFing, I kept a small cooler and ice pack on my nightstand so I could store the milk from my Haakaa. That way I didn’t have to go all the way downstairs to the kitchen. You’re doing AMAZING! It’s such hard work but you’re rocking it ✨✨✨
I ve been watching your videos and ı wish you happy long healthy life with your cutie and husband. I ve had two misscarriages in 3 mınths. When I see your baby is healty and glowing I really feel so happy. She is so lucky to have mom like you :) I can see how much you love her in your eyes
Your baby is sooooo cute and you're so natural for this 😍. I'm about to have my first baby, I hope I can handle it that good! I hope you keep doing a great job 🤗
You should get one of those makeup/skincare fridges to keep by your nightstand to store your milk in at night! I've seen people do that. You can get a haakaa lid too, so you could literally just pop the whole thing in the fridge and then take care of it in the morning :D Just make sure you get one that can stay cold enough. I think Cooluli makes one.
i gave birth to my daughter a week after you did. i relate to so much here... she gets her bath, she goes in her love to dream sleep sack, i get my bath, then i pump. that friggin knee walk across the bed while yourr holding her is me every night 😆 and that nursing while half asleep look. and those sweet morning snuggles. also damn girl your pumping output is amazing i wish i could get that much
and you trying to hush her so she doesnt wake your partner even though hes gotten to sleep more. thats how i am too. at least one of us can sleep and then if i need a break in the day he will be better able to help
My son is 4 weeks and this video gave me so much hope that we might one day get to 5 hours of sleep a night! I think i better start saving for a snoo now if we want another baby 😂 Also, the NIPPLE SHIELDDDDD 🙌🙌 I hate the thing beyond belief, but I am happy to see someone else using it. Sometimes it can feel like everyone else online just breastfeeds so naturally without any assistance and my baby has yet to latch without a shield. Loved this video !
its 3 am and I just want to wake up my mum and say I love you so much. We take so much for granted. Indeed there is heaven under mothers feet. Thank you for this video.
It’s so amazing how moms love their babies REGARDLESS of all that! I’m not a mom and will not be any soon and watching that made me think I would probably don’t like that baby if it’s making me go through all this! (I know it’s cus I don’t have maternity feelings). May god bless all moms out there♥️♥️
I have loved your videos on pregnancy and post pregnancy, im expecting end of this year and has made me more ready for mine knowing all the ups and downs I love how its all been so real and not glamourised 🥰💕 p.s your doing an amazing job xx
Will you make a video about all of the different breast pumps you use and when!? Im 15 wks along and love watching your videos, they always make me so excited and ease some of my anxiety about having a newborn!
I’m not a mom, yet! Definite future mom though and have been dreaming and waiting to have that beautiful title. I’m obsessed with baby Squish ♡ She’s so precious and alert. I can already tell she’s going to be super smart!! Thanks for sharing these clips with us. Love you ❤️
You being able to have a soak in the BATH and not be interrupted by your bubba waking up is making me soooo green with envy lol and the level of tiredness on ur face whilst you do the night feeds is a moooood haha... great job Mumma!
That’s also me wobbling around w the brestfriend pillow😂 I honestly just gave up on using it and just use my boppy cause it’s easier to just throw on lol. Even though the brestfriend is 10x better! I might have to go back to using it. I love your videos though, I can really relate to them- I have an almost 2 month old!
Found you, when you were in the last period of your pregnancy and i love your videos. Just what i need to see right now and see how it can be through one night with a baby 🤰🏽
Definitely about to have my little nugget any day now and legit have a 3 year old😅 So nervous over starting over again lol I needed this refresher and love your videos!❤️❤️❤️
You’re doing such a good job ❤️ this may be a stupid question but why doesn’t dad help with night feeds when you pump? Is that just how you prefer to do things? Xx
Watching this and seeing your nights reminds me too much of how i felt when my baby was that little omg. I feel tired just watching haha the nights were usually the hardest for me for sure. Now my baby is 1 and she sleeps for 12 hours which is amazing. I do miss the tiny baby stages tho, i’d take those sleepless nights again for it 😅 you’re doing an amazing job with your little girl ❤️
Thank you for your videos, i'm 2 weeks away from giving birth, and i am far away from my family (my family in Australia, and i am in South America) because of COVID, i'm just with my partner, and his Spanish speaking family...and i have no idea what to expect, your videos are so informative are helping me mentally prepare myself ... you are the most 'real' and relatable vlogs out there, keep up the good work, you look amazing and are doing great job!!! xx
MY FAVVVEE !!! 💖💘💗💕💞 she just keeps GETTING CUTER AND CUTER I CANT !!! 🥺 39 weeks today i can not wait to hold my baby boy !!🥺💙 your videos are getting me through the rest of this long long lonnngg pregnancy 😂❤️
wow watching your baby compared to mine is interesting. My kid screams during baths, clothing changes, diaper changes, and immediately when he wakes up. Your baby is like a saint throughout all of those things.
If anyone who isn't a parent asks you why you're so tired... you're welcome to send them this video lol
May I please ask to where you got those portable breast pump inserts?
Feistyonemkup Elvie! It’s linked in video description! :)
aww I just posted the same video today! Arrow is the sweetest little thing!!
Hey Brittany, I had a baby around the same time you did! You're doing an amazing job and I can see how much you love Arrow🥰💖
If I can offer some advice to make nights a bit easier, I have a basket next to the bed with a portable changing pad, diapers, wipes, sanitizer and aquafor so I don't have to get up and bring her to the nursery every time she poops. Brittany Balyn I absolutely love and enjoy watching your vids. Side note I’m currently 39 weeks with my first baby Scarlett 💗
Man after watching this I feel like I need to give my mom a hug. You moms are some rockstars.
same lol
I love how transparent you are I’m pregnant with my first and stuff like this just makes me feel more prepared instead of thinking it’s going to be all glamorous and instagrammable like other moms these days 💛 your baby is sooooo precious
Aww yay, that’s why I’m here!! 💗 and congratulations, you definitely got this!!
it doesn´t have to be that way...many babies sleep through the night since 2 months or so
Don't us moms love how dads sleep through the night so peacefully? 🙃
😭😭😭😭😭
Hahaha not fair! I wake up my husband to change our newborn diaper 😁... but still, he gets more hours of sleep than I do 🥱.
The sarcasm
Wake his ass up to do diaper changes!🙌🏻
just add bottles into the mix. then it's 50/50. if you choose not to do bottles in addition, then like you're only doing it to yourself lol. if you CAN"T pump, that's another story.
watching while my newborn is having a nap - spent 40 minutes trying to get him down and then miss him so much watching this video!
ahh I know that feeling!!
Yup!
Same here! Trying to get my 3 week old to nap while watching your video! 😅
Same!!!
Same! And my boyfriend asked me why when I said I missed her while watching this 😭😂.
This made me feel like I’m not alone :( idk why but I got emotional when you asked your hubby to do a diaper change. Your comment made me emotional and made me cry 😭 this is how I am with my fiancé...I will wait until the last possible minute and then ask if he can feed her a bottle or change a diaper. It’s so hard to ask for help, but I need it SO bad!
dubeans1 deep down they want to be asked to help to though. My hubby is always like “why didn’t you ask me!?” So don’t forget it’s their baby too!
im a SAHM, but even if i worked (IF and i always do breastfeed my babies) i honestly find it soooo useless for the husband (esp first time parents) to be awake at night with baby bcos youll hear their annoyance, or theyll just ask you questions like what to do/if thats normal etc so id rather cut that time and do it myself lol, and i would still have to pump anyway to keep my supply up regardless if he was up with the baby. its hard sometimes to not get annoyed, but honestly id rather this than 2 cranky parents from exhaustion! hang in there x

I love how real you are about motherhood! Thank you for showing what it’s really like with no fluff.
6 weeks postpartum and I relate to this SO HARD! Thank you for keeping me sane with your channel while I was in labor and again while I’m pumping and AGAIN during those 1 am feedings that seem to last until 3 am....

ahhh I didn't know the sleep regressions keep going into the toddler years! I know were coming up on the 4th month sleep regression sooon and I'm not ready lol
When I saw you knee walk across the bed, throw the nursing pillow, and bounce baby to sleep just know I felt that in my soul
😂💗
Natasha Amaral I always feel ridiculous when I’ve nursed little guy to sleep and walk over to his bassinet with the pillow still attached like a tutu and my nip still out
OMG that baby is getting prettier every day 😍

My baby is 8 weeks and we still only get 1.5-2 hours sleep max 😭😭 please tell me it gets better soon!

I have a 6 week old daughter and this was so refreshing to watch...so relatable 💗💗 love your videos
Your videos make me so happy. I’m also glad I’m not the only one not sleeping great right now! (I have a 9 week old!)
I have been loving all of your videos! I’m 6 months pregnant, first baby and I’m very nervous, happy, excited but so nervous! Good job mama
Loved this video !
brittany you're such a wonderful mom 💪
its 3 am and I just want to wake up my mum and say I love you so much. We take so much for granted. Indeed there is heaven under mothers feet. Thank you for this video.
Awwww what a pretty girl you’re doing so good hopefully I can do this well I’m due next month with my first very nervous
It’s so nice to watch the real process of a mom! I’m 33 weeks and feeling so stressed because I have no idea what to expect! But this is so helpful 🥰
We have a little Avent bath and bedroom thermometer to pop in the bath every night to get to about 37 degrees Celsius xx takes the guess work out!!
I honestly wanna be a mom one day and watching your videos makes me feel less scared about it all. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Brilliant!! Doesn’t seem like you are a first time mommy, you did it so well 👌🏻
It’s so amazing how moms love their babies REGARDLESS of all that! I’m not a mom and will not be any soon and watching that made me think I would probably don’t like that baby if it’s making me go through all this! (I know it’s cus I don’t have maternity feelings). May god bless all moms out there♥️♥️
I have a 3 week old and this is just how our nights are too! I’m glad I’m not alone!
Ur channel makes me so happy
I have loved your videos on pregnancy and post pregnancy, im expecting end of this year and has made me more ready for mine knowing all the ups and downs I love how its all been so real and not glamourised 🥰💕 p.s your doing an amazing job xx
Currently 30 weeks pregnant and this made me so emotional 😩 I can't believe this is going to be my life soon ahhh
Love you ❤️
Your such an amazing mommy!! I’m loving all the baby content!
The baby yawning at starting is so 🥺❤️❤️
You being able to have a soak in the BATH and not be interrupted by your bubba waking up is making me soooo green with envy lol and the level of tiredness on ur face whilst you do the night feeds is a moooood haha... great job Mumma!
Wow, this was amazing to see! You are a wonderful momma! Thank you for sharing!
I clicked so freaking fast!!! hahaha I love your family and your baby is so cute!!!🥺💘💗
The beauty of finally being able to sleep facedown. 🙏 Praise the Lordt!
love how realistic this is and love both of you girls
Found you, when you were in the last period of your pregnancy and i love your videos. Just what i need to see right now and see how it can be through one night with a baby 🤰🏽
I’m so happy you’ve found me!! 💗
Hey dear... a very nice compilation..
Could u please share what products u have been using for ur body and face?
Definitely about to have my little nugget any day now and legit have a 3 year old😅 So nervous over starting over again lol I needed this refresher and love your videos!❤️❤️❤️
You’re doing such a good job ❤️ this may be a stupid question but why doesn’t dad help with night feeds when you pump? Is that just how you prefer to do things? Xx
Probably because she’s breast feeding.
You are such an amazing parent... Your baby is really lucky ..
Wow! Thanks for sharing! It definitely makes me more grateful for how helpful my husband was!
i so so love the set you have on!! where did you get it 🥺
Okay...you made me realized that i should enjoy my pregnancy hahaha!
Wow I never knew what's its really like to have a baby till now. You both are amazing parents
Watching this at 5.30am doing the same thing! Thank you! Helps me keep going. 😊
Mothers are truly amazing ❤️
Thank you for your videos, i'm 2 weeks away from giving birth, and i am far away from my family (my family in Australia, and i am in South America) because of COVID, i'm just with my partner, and his Spanish speaking family...and i have no idea what to expect, your videos are so informative are helping me mentally prepare myself ... you are the most 'real' and relatable vlogs out there, keep up the good work, you look amazing and are doing great job!!! xx
do you use that swaddle with the snoo? my daughter always wakes up in the snoo while we’re trying to strap her in!
MY FAVVVEE !!! 💖💘💗💕💞 she just keeps GETTING CUTER AND CUTER I CANT !!! 🥺 39 weeks today i can not wait to hold my baby boy !!🥺💙 your videos are getting me through the rest of this long long lonnngg pregnancy 😂❤️
awww congratulations!!! 💘
wow watching your baby compared to mine is interesting. My kid screams during baths, clothing changes, diaper changes, and immediately when he wakes up. Your baby is like a saint throughout all of those things.
Watching this as my 7 week old is napping 😍 he wakes up about 3 times a night and this is pretty accurate to how it goes for us!
