Omg, thank you for reviewing this! All the other reviews are in Spanish and considering I haven’t taken a Spanish class since college, I’m a little rusty, lol. I received a sample of this with a fragrance order, ordered a full bottle immediately. I love it on its own, and I especially love it when layered with a cpl sprays of Nishane Hundred Silent Ways when I’m craving a little sweetness, too.
Great to see you back Matt! 001 Man and Esencia the only 2 I've worn recently from the brand, but I know I have a decant of Anonimo somewhere... Really does seem like it'd be heavier from the notes though doesn't it? Appreciate the review!
I have and enjoy Anonimo so will keep a lookout on this for testing. Loewe is owned by LVMH so possibility of sharing formula is there. It’s a big plus that it performs better than L’Immensite. On Anonimo, it is one of very few scents that I need to catch a whiff of instead of directly smelling it so I don’t spray it on my chest or neck area. Otherwise, it gets cloying to me quickly. Oh, and I finally pulled the trigger on Bois Imperial 2 days ago and I am so excited to try it and to compare with Ganymede. Cheers!
You will love BI buddy. Cobalt doesn't smell the same as L'immensite but they do the same thing. They really remind me ofneach other. Well worth trying
Funnily, I was in Selfridges Saturday and spent most time at Loewe. I was very impressed by the whole range. And the rep I chatted too. I think I smelt Cobolt and the other frag it reminded me of is ATH Haze Blue. A real banger and one they should promote far more. I was really drawn to Solo Mercurio, their latest. Amazing note breakdown and one of the more unique of the line. High up on my to-buy list. One I can't remember the name of was I think another 7, I think blue, but it was this amazing bright incense forward scent. Dont't suppose you tried it/remember its name? Great they're getting some youtube fragcomm exposure. I told them in no uncertain terms to get themselves out there more as up there, especially at the price range.
I tried the same one , it was like an ethereal floaty citrus with faint incense in the background, its lovely and next on the list. It was just called Loewe 7. Love it
Hi! Sorry to comment on an older one but I have an inquiry: I found it interesting you compared it to l'immensite and decided to check out cobalt on fragrantica -- it seems LW orage/storm gets compared to it a bit more often. Have you tried that and have any comments? Seems storm is a bit more green and earthy, maybe petrichor like which is what is confusing me a bit here. Thanks!
@@QuestioningScents thanks so much for your response! I've been particularly interested in loewe's offerings but it's a bit hard to find in NYC believe it or not! I'm going to try going into a department store this weekend that's affiliated to try out cobalt, solo atlas, and the newer esencia elixir if they have it. I've seen your solo atlas video as well and that sounds amazing (I love TF neroli Portofino it just dies off so quickly, lol) -- do you have any other loewe pointers or suggestions that I should look out for to try out? Thanks again, hope you're having a wonderful evening and weekend

Loewe 7 Cobalt is quite similar to Dior Homme 2020. Maybe just a tiny bit less designer-ish? Definitely more natural smelling.
Definitely more natural smelling. Although it's been an age since I tried the Dior.
