Great video. I want to make something like this stand alone. Only issue is I don't want a lean to type of roof and I am trying to figure out how to make the roof look flat for the sides and ground but have some pitch on it to divert water. Thank you for the video
Thank you. And you don't need to use those currogated panels. Anything flat and water resistant will work as long as you have the back side a few degrees higher.
Great job, I know the gutters were out of the scope of this project, but do you have any issues with the gutters dumping the water too close to the pool? I am building a pool and will have the same situation and similar layout, I am debating between leave them like that or block them. Thoughts?
Great effort guys. But what are the material sizes to make it??
Looks neat well done guys
Were the posts of uneven length to account for slope on ground/concrete? Also how did you secure posts to concrete? Thanks.
The front two post did have a very slight slope. And I just used concrete anchors to secure the post.
@@justaskmo5984Thanks for your quick reply and sharing this video!
Nice work how much would something like that cost
can you tell me what steel cross-sections you use for the pergola?

Very nice onsite welding. Did you consider fixing the frame to the house at all ?
and this my friends is why theres such thing as stick welding :) good job though killer project!
Can you list out a materials list so we can attempt the same?
Hi, what's the profile size are the beams and the columns? thanks
I used 4x4 post for the legs, and 2x3s for the rest.
@@justaskmo5984 Do you recall what thickness the 4x4s and 2x3s were?
@@finngar they were 16 gauge
Beautiful pergola. What material have you used ? And where to get those from?
Great vid! What was the budget for that build?
I believe $800 on materials
How come no pitch on that thing? Won’t the rain just sit on top?
Was it bolted or it doesn’t need it because of the weight ?

I know I’m a bit late but rain water will fine it’s way into the pool one way or another. IMO a good pool filter takes care of that.
Awesome video ! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
