Saor has that sound and style that drags you in and you are left amazed every time. Truly atmospheric and calming.
Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne'er within him burn'd,
As home his footsteps he hath turn'd,
From wandering on a foreign strand!
I've wandered through the ancient glens
Where the air is filled with sorrow
And climbed to the highest of peaks
Walked amongst the haunted ruins of my nation
There's nowhere I'd rather be
This is my home
My heart
My soul
My hearth
Underrated doesn't even begin to describe this. This is a crowning jewel of atmospheric black metal.
if anyone says metal can't be beautiful, make them listen to this song
Une véritable merveille !!! 🏴🏴🏴❤❤❤
this song makes me blend with nature
Epic stuff! Also love the album cover.
6:44 to the end.
This kind of stuff is what set some black metal bands from the rest.
We need more of it.
The bass is epic. Oh hell, everything in that song is.
Oh my. That intro is the most breathtaking thing I've heard all year. So simple, yet such beauty and emotion.
Simple? The amount of arrangements and polyrhythms in the intro is breathtaking!

The perfect song for a winter's night.
Best song in the album
atmospheric at its finest
word.
Cannot believe such a genuine work is possible...Andy Marshall makes music on high levels.
Silvana Kersanova I really love ur face ;))) 🎧🎸🎧✌☝👏💯
So underrated...
All these new songs prove that this band can only improve
I'm still trying to assimilate how good this song is and how much they have improved during the years.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!!!!!!
If you don't feel something well up within you at 9:56 you're not alive.
The middle section of this is stunning.
Saor, or the evidence that folk can be used to follow atmospheric songs and not only to make people fight and drink in the pit like in a korpi concert
Gauthier i got crushed by a drunken buff guy in the pit seeing Korpi it was pretty fun
This album takes you to another place wether you want to go there or not
One of the best songs of the year so far. Absolutely gorgeous.
Saor is just....just....fantastically amazing!
Evey time Saor can come up with new ways of combination between folk elements and abm...
This song is perfect
I can't stop to listen it. You did something perfect sir. This is the
sound of the Highland indeed, but I can feel it so familiar as it was
also the sound of the Alps.
3:25 through 4:20 always gives me goosebumps!! That's obviously a good thing though :)
Perfection.
Atmospheric Folk Black Metal? IDK, but absolutely digging it
Discovering these guys back in 2017 was one of the best things I've ever done!! 💙
at first i didn't like the vocals, but now I'm in love
This is fantastic
this is the only death metal song i love on this planet and I love it a lot
Great Song!
what a beautiful piece...
Will this be album of the year? So far it seems it will be!
Amazing song! can't wait for this
Beautiful! Such passion! One day I will go go to Scotland and see the land that inspired this music.
6:44 OMG

I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Austin Lunns drums from the last album, but it's still epic as hell!

Sería bueno que se escuchará más la voz
The bands only Scottish date sold out in a few days, I'm beyond gutted ;(
This new album sounds better than Aura. Aura was a great album, but I Think it was not very well recorded.
that's what Andy thinks too. This one sounds amazing, can't wait to hear the rest... Saor introduced me to atmo bm, and is one of my favourites :)
well in the bm scene that is very common that it is more low fi than other genres of music in metal or outside of it.
ShagStars Productions Yeah, man, I know that, I'm just saying that Andy doesn't like how Aura sounded. Read that in an interview somewhere :)
Aura, for me, sounds a bit "confusing", I read Andy´s thoughts about
that. I think Aura was created to be a little more "Black Metal", so
logically it must sound more "noisy", and Guardians is more folkish, it fits better with a "clean" mastering, in my opinion.

Soft.
ვოკალებმა ჩააჯვა მარ ამგონი არც ისე
საერთოდ არა, უსმინე ლირიკას
Their is nothing bad about this band in my opinion.
