How helpful! Thought it would be easy. And being able to watch this first before I got started gave me all the confidence and knowledge I needed to get the job done. Thanks!
Glad to hear it was helpful! Goodluck with your replacement. Be sure to tag us in a photo on Instagram or Facebook when you're done. We'd love to see it! @homearoam
Just a tip. When everything is installed and you're ready to test the water thru the new faucet, first remove the aerator to allow any debris in the line and faucet to completely clear. Then re-install the aerator and you're finished. Good job on the install!
I was looking for a tutorial to replace our faucet in the exact same trailer. I hate how close the spout is to the edge of the sink. Thanks for sharing
Yes it definitely makes it tough to wash hands doesn't it? We find that with it raised it at least let us get our hands underneath. Hope your replacement goes well 👍
Ahhhhh THIS is what I always wanted to do in Gumby!! Great job with the installation and the instructional video! Loved it. What a great upgrade!! ~ Diana
Perfect, I'm going to do the same! The sink is useless from the factory. Can't get our hands under the tap. They must think we are Hobbits! Thanks for the Video. Tsawwassen, BC Canada
On the wall behind our toilet there are switched for the hot water tank (electric or gas) and the water/waste tank monitoring system. The manual for the trailer should be able to detail everything for you though.
Hi there, thanks for checking it out. Yes, the faucet is specifically made for RV's. It is lightweight, made of plastic. You'll find the link in the video description for more info. Cheers 🙂
You made that look way too easy. I think I told you this before but I did this job in our 5th wheel and thought it may be easier to just trade the camper in. Lol. Looks good!!! Great upgrade. Lol
@@HomeARoam haha. Well, you see, there I was minding my own business when I came across a RUclips video about fixing the notorious squeal of the hot water handle of an RV bathroom sink faucet. I followed all the instructions and when I put it all back together, the handle spun freely and the water wouldn’t shut off. Forrest river of course didn’t put shut off valves in the bathroom and I had never gotten around to doing it either so we had the whole house water off. I had to go to Home Depot at 8:30pm and buy a new faucet. Came home and discovered I had to be a contortionist to get under that sink to disconnect the water lines that were at a 90 degree angle of sorts. Very strange set up. Lol. After about midnight I finally got it done and was able to turn the water back on and take a shower. Kristi still loves me. And I used to be a plumber!!! Lol.
@@WeretheRoberts 😂 oh man, that sounds rough. Isn't that always the thing with RV projects? One small thing turns into a huge ordeal? Those bathrooms can be pretty tight to maneuver in normally, let alone trying to access the plumbing! Note I had to work from the shower stall to access under the sink!
Thank you so much! Your video helped me so much to have the confidence to do this. That was easy peasy!
That's so great to hear! Super easy, right? Glad to have helped.
Super easy. Thanks 😎
Right?! Glad you found it helpful!

Are you kidding me!?
Removal of the old was next to impossible. I need a video on that!
Thank your lucky stars yours came off so easily.
Sorry to hear yours didn't go as smoothly. Can you tell us what made it so hard?

Good tip, thanks for sharing this so we can all learn more!
Thanks for the video. I hope mine is as easy as yours looked.
You can do it!

Great job, you two!
Thank you!
Good job.
Thanks! Hope it was helpful to you

Thanks Diana! Yeah, we like the look so much better. Feels like we're glamping now! 😂
Thanks for the tips! 👍
You bet!

Lol 😂 hobbits ! It's so true! The bathrooms are small enough!
Doing this this week. Just got my tracer, but cant figure out what the far left switches are for on wall behind toilet?

@@HomeARoam ya, manual is just genetic to all 2016 primetime trailers, nothing about switches etc. But I figured it out.
Was this faucet specifically for an rv?

We have to know what went wrong with your install?! It sounds like there's a hilarious (after the fact) story to tell there!
