In this video we have the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and this is applicable for other motorcycles as well like the Apache RTR 160 4V where we will do a complete front fork suspension repair for oil seal change, fork oil replacement and while we do the suspension repair we will dismantle, inspect and assembled the forks in the way they should be.

Dust upon the Fork pipes must be wiped in 7-10 days and oil must be changed every 3 years. Fork life will be greatly enhanced and it will work buttrr smooth. I own a Pulsar 180 2012 model. Still no fork oil leaked. As rear suspensions are Gas filled, bike suspensions work awesome. 👍

wish we had a workshop like leaded care in our area. My Suspension capnuts have big scratch marks which pains my heart every time i see them.
My RTR 200s fork seals were replaced last year TVS workshop guy used only 175 ml fork oil per fork I showed him Manual he said Quantity mwntioned in Manual is cobined for both forks.
This content and experiment was eagerly waiting on Apache Series. We would like to know the suspension performance after using Motul Fork Oil SAE 7.5W.
It is a joy seeing this work - no shortcuts, doing appropriate checks and cleaning with proper tools.

@thesportztourer Hi, had a doubt on how the springs were assembled back, 6:09 i believe it should follow some method as the gap inbetween the sping coil tends to shrink.
So whether the side with less gap should be towards tyre or towards the handle?

Hello, Just came back from the service center where they advised to simply replace the front forks which has developed rusting spots on my apache 200 4v. Each one costs 3200rs. There is oil leakage coz of it.
I need a much cheaper solution.
Is there a way to polish and smoothen out the fork surface ? Do you know anyone who faces a similar problem ? Please do check in your network. I simply cant afford any major expenses at this point.
Just use them if they're in a decent condition and can be used, don't damage them, will be fatal to drive with if you do any of the methods you said, Just use them till they last and whenever you get the chance replace them.

Hi bro. Recently done the same job for my fz. Each fork was filled with 450 ml of fork oil ( 459 ml in user manual ) and the fork springs also were new, bt it gets bottom out in hard braking conditions. Could u tell me why???
