Fabric bias can ruin your quilt blocks, particularly when making 4 at a time half square triangles. Need help with that method? Download my Ultimate HST Guide here: bit.ly/3KjTPVa
Good information. Thanks for pointing out ironing vs pressing. I can’t tell how many quilters on RUclips “iron” as they demo piecing. Makes me cringe and it leads new quilters astray. 😮
As someone just beginning my quilting journey I didn't really understand how fabric bias might impact my project. Good to know in advance before I start cutting. Thanks for the tips and tricks
In the video, you mentioned that the starches and products you use to give the starched effect would be in the comments but I don’t see them. I like that idea but want to use what you use. Please help with specifics. I love your videos because of their clarity and precise attention to your one objective. Thank you!
Thank you so much!! I have a video coming soon about preparing fabric and different starches and pressing products. I use a mixture of liquid starch (Sta Flo brand) and distilled water in a fine misting spray bottle. Works well for me!
I am a quilt beginner....love the craft, but my confidence sucks! Roller cutting intimates me so much, I am using scissors to cut my pieces instead....that tells you my woes. Do you think The Accuquilt Go will help solve my mystery? Thank you.

Agreed!! Then quilters get frustrated that their block is wonky! That’s probably why! Thanks for watching!
