This is a very nice cage. I would only put 10 to 12 quail in it though.
I want a bigger cage that is taller to keep dogs and raccoons out, so I would use rabbit wire as well. A metal slide in tray to catch the droppings would be nice.

@@jahyun7744 hey there! I follow the 3 quail per square foot rule. I have only jumbo Japanese quail. It might be four quail per square foot if they are standard size. I would use a rabbit cage size for 12 quail because the water dish and feed dish take up the same amount of space. I also put in a box for them to hang out in, plus a sand box! 24 inches by 30 inches is the size I have used for 12 quail. They kinda like being close, but I give them choices about hang out places. They are so happy after I did all that and they make contented noises that make me feel happy.
