I finished the game recently and couldn't stop laughing at 1:57. There's a mech battle during which Miyuki Inaba sings until she's disconnected. I was SO DISSAPOINTED when regular music kicked in, as having no music would've been SO POWERFUL. :/ I think it's worth mentioning that this game probably has best "quality of life" features of any VN I've seen: built-in Wikia, which updates itself (and lies) over the course of the game and very granular chapter select with descriptions of each chapter. I could only ask for a TV show-like "Previously...", as I've forgotten what happened in prologues and chapters of characters I haven't played as for a while.

In a broader sense I'm been getting deep in the ANIMEs and one of the major story themes that keeps popping up is this weird "don't try to deny the sins of the past, or live in a stagnant present, but strive toward an unknown but hopeful future", which unless I can find an actual Japanese Cultural Scholarly Journal on it, I could call it "Japanese Neo-Modernism" in just the sorta hope it has going forward toward the future; See, Kamen Rider, Code Geass, like almost all of battle Shounen, Bastion and Transistor...wait those are from a Western company, fuck. But I think it's BEST presented in 13 sentinels because of yeah the whole clones of shitty people trying to rebuild humanity despite humanity completely fucking themselves over, but also that the "next generation" while carrying the sins of the past, should still fight for a better tomorrow, y'know all that hokey pokey tropey stuff 16:45: I hope that meme dies even when you say it ironically. We should return back to Bokurano and Ideon where every pilot is a child soldier where half of them just fucking die out the gate. Finally the conclusion having the Megas XLR op really sells it. Thanks again for putting in the 18 min ad for the game that people just can't be sold on because it's too "spoilery" to get any marketing, a shame, but I'll always love it
