- In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to learn every chord and chord symbol. Included are major, minor, diminished, augmented chords. Also covered: major 7th, minor 7th, dim 7, and sus chords.

Dominant/major difference?
At 28:56 isn’t that confusing notation regarding the C#9 ? How do u know whether to sharp the C (the root) or to sharp the ninth note?
if the chord is a #9 chord, the sharp will be in brackets with the 9. ex. C#(#9) would be a C# dominant 7th chord with a #9 added. Sorry if I didn't make it clear.
