I feel like most of the fleets won’t have the marauder or BLT bomber so there is still a lot of room to get a leg up on the LS fleets.

Make sure that you're grabbing the free things from the Webstore, I know you're quite versed in the game but Passively getting Negotiator and malevolence shards from the calendar is SO nice for newer accounts

Personally I like Nego mostly for offense.
With Maurader there is some variance for the fleet comp, but then the strategy is mostly the same.
Comps:
1. ETA, BTL, Maurader, RI Plo, Ahsoka +/- 5s. The ideal comp, personally less ships as RI for defense.
2. ETA, BTL, Rex, RI Plo, Maurader, Ahsoka, +/- 5s. Rex was THE counter for mirrors pre-Maurader -- beat everything. Just spam healing + tm gains.
3. ETA, BTL, 5s/Ahsoka, RI Plo, + whatever. Works well on offense vs Malevolence + Negotiator. Terrible on defense.
4. ETA, Maurader, Plo, RI whatever. Specialized Exexutor counter, offense only.
Strategy: Spread valor. (Mirrors)
ETA buff immunity onto enemy ETA (regains valor when he loses it. You keep yours, enemy never gains valor).
If Nego goes second, UL, cleanse, etc. before the mass assist. If Nego goes first, all in on enemy ETA (has Buff Immunity). Another AOE (Maurader) kills enemy ETA early (BI + HI).
ETA always basics an enemy with TL = gain valor = more Nego turns = more allies = easier win.
Honestly, HT does nothing useful for Nego -- or really any non-Executor fleet. Valor is king, and HT doesn't really contribute for Nego. Granted, his usefulness was during the 1-3 month timeout meta window between Geos Exexutrix for ship 2.0 and all BH ships for HMF-HO rebels meta.
This fun 😂 when my account was this age, the same happened with r5 bossk & HT. I developed a special wired lineup to counter those lsb accounts. Now they are far below my Exec 😜

Hi Songete, I have recently restarted this game and followed your Gotanks account and F2P guide. This is a great series. However how discouraging it is to wake up this morning after hovering around rank 50 - 60 in ships to find that there is only about 5 players in the top 50 now that don't have a Negotiator team. And I am not joking 40 -45 players in top 50 all have the lightspeed bundle. I am very much an old school gamer. You play the game and make good decisions and manage your resources well and get good at tactics and you become better than others. This is just buy my way to the top!

Was Happy doing my own F2P account as Fleets were actually not Instant P2W so there was a chance of getting Crystals. Then these dropped and I was very sad.
Very nice! Those negotiators are gonna be so annoying. It's also annoying because I'm pretty close to GAS and now everyone with money will just own him too . . .
Same for me, I just got him and now you can just buy him and so much else in one pack. But I am actually not that mad about it, they'll still need to gear up and farm GAS shards, which I am already done with :)

What is the worst part is that this not only affects you but EVERYONE. It is kind of ironic. CG already knows most people don't like ships, but they add a bundle that makes it impossible for anyone but a mid-game or higher player. There are already enough people who don't farm ships(for a reasonable reason). I am sure they expected a lot of people to buy it which would make it worth it in their eyes.
My question is, why would any potential new player want to play an online game where he or she knows they have no chance of being reasonably competitive within a reasonable amount of time? In other words, he or she can assume they will be gated from an entire section of the game unless they...
1)Buy a lightspeed bundle
2)Wait years to even have a chance of moving up.
Neither is a good prospect for anyone who would potentially being willing to spend their time playing such a game.
Ive made insane progress recently. Besides the bundle: 2 jawas to g12, tarkin to r5 almost r6, hux r8. Mission to g11

@darkgoblin5681 jawas can be a decent side farm, especially to take out mon mothma. Hux needs to be r5 for slkr
@tastyteddy3874 mainly because I took inspiration from aesop rock, I had no other characters besides non big event characters close to there and I wanted to be unique. There's no right or wrong way to play the game

@songeta mace windu even without marauder stays well on defense and completely destroys negotiator in offense. But I have different lineup than yours

@@songeta ht (r5), y-wing(6*), fives (g12). Reinforcements: plo (g11), anakin 6* (g12), ashoka(r5, but actually not always using her), vader ship (r5 on him). Mace is r5. Starting lineup never changes, only reinforcement. Key to win is to kill enemies Anakin ship, usually I use fives special on anakin to target lock and HT to place breach
I actually started my journey with your f2p guide, but bought HBD and started to farm all galactic ships(y wing, marauder and anakin) in prior to secure the fleet. Thanks you for guide! :)
@@songeta in my year old shard, some of the top 10 are using endurance with hounds tooth. They beat executors and profs. Endurance- Marauder , hounds tooth and Ahsoka starting lineup. Pretty hard to kill I won't lie , and they seem to be able to even get rank 1 against 7 star execs and profs for the 400 payout.

Is the Maurader a requirement to make the Endurance work against Executioners? I have a Relic 7, all 6e Mods, 1 zeta, Mace Windu. I never use his ship though, lol. My Hound's Tooth is fully upgraded with a Relic7 and zeta'ed Bossk with 6e mods. I have all the GR ships from the new LSB. I've been using Negotiator so far to stay in Top 5 (I've been top 2-5 for months in my shard, which began less than half a year ago. Only 3 Execs in it total).
My General Kenobi is Relic 6, so slightly less leveled than my r7 Windu. If I can beat the Executioners in my shard occasionally using Endurance, that'd be great!
Im was fine with the other lsb but this one was not it. 7star negotiator....
