the brawler did the lane switching bug which is very predictable - if they have 1 tower and you play any troop in the lane of their living tower, and it runs across to the other lane to chase something, it’ll still pathfind to its original lane. i’ve done some crazy plays based on this bug, it’s why you can’t kite on their side in a 1-1 situation

2:15 btw if you place the cage 2 tiles in front of the tower it will full counter the hog, make sure it's placed so the brawler blocks it from going forward once it spawns in

they might as well just make a spell that one shots golem at this point. Golem never gets any love with any of the updates. Everything they have done just hinders golems chance at being viable in the meta
the goblin brawler goes in the lane you placed the cage even if it follows troops to kill them. It's been like this since they release it. I'm surprised you didn't know

2:25 the brawler went the other way because when troops dont have any target in range they are coded to go towards the nearest tower, since the left tower was gone and he originally spawned going to the right tower he will path back to the right

I dont know why others think this is creative. This is simply just a nighmare for people who plays Giant, Royal Giant or anything similar. Buildings are super annoying from the beginning and now this shit...
Supercell is smoking a-pvp at this point, who thought this was a good idea in an already defensive game
So it pulls and utterly nullifies a troop out of combat, preventing it from attacking, or tanking for other troops, let's the goblin brawler attack while in the cage, has decent first strike capability, and the brawler has more health.
Already in my deck, defiantly evolving.
And it's every other cycle
