@@Abigirl_ReactsYou’re going to notice many differences with interpretation & delivery of the lyrics & some of the melody near the end. Keep in mind also, this is studio & Floor will be live. Enjoy! PS - There is live footage of Annette singing this as well.
Regarding Floor Jansen, Tuomas (keyborder and metal mozart) did not say for nothing that if Floor left Nightwish, Nightwish would not continue to exist. That would be the end!
True, but then again, that same thought went trough his mind when Tarja told him she wanted to leave and those same words were spoken about Marko. Whenever Tuomas sees a chance to do what he loves, he will do it. Now Floor....that WILL be hard. But I don't believe he will stop making music.
...that would be the end of "Nightwish" he said. no word about the other things he does, for example Auri... And, i guess, if Troy isn´t able or willing to continue - that gap is uncloseable too... Let´s hope for more and celebrate when/if it comes to another tour, and album ! hopefully not 4 years later, but ... ;) big- or high hope i have for the 30th anniversary 2026/2027 for some live action AND a new songs !
I saw an interview he admitted that not only Floor but any other member leaves it's the end of Nightwish. Then he said Marco is gone, and still we are here, so......
@@vogel2280 In my opinion, Tuomas will always make music or at least compose as long as he is physically and mentally able to do so. And that's a good thing. Whether this will be in connection with “Nightwish” is another matter? When Tarja left the group (I've already seen and heard her live with Nightwish and she's a gifted singer) Anette Olzen came, who I also think is a good singer, but who doesn't reach Tarja's level. Then came Floor Jansen, who in my opinion is the most variable of the three singers. That's why she doesn't experience this hype about her for nothing. And of course Marco is missing! But replacing a guitarist (bass) is easier than replacing someone who sings. This also applies 100% to Marco. In any case, I'm looking forward to everything new that may come.Translated with g....e
@@helli0n824 Tuomas will always make or compose music if he is mentally and physically able to do so. Hopefully we'll hear and see many more of his works of art! Troy is of course a gifted musician and would leave a big void if "Nightwish" were to leave. I also agree 100% with wanting to hear as much new music as possible from all band members in one way or another. Preferably together at “Nighwish”! Also happy about an interim solo project. Translated with g....e
There's no one like Floor, there's no one like Nightwish. Floor is the third singer, the second was indeed Anette and the first was Tarja. You're gonna absolutely love Everdream, its really special, particularly the live Wacken version 🤘
I beg to differ, there are other great symphonic metal bands with other equally talented female singers. EPICA and Simone Simmons would be just one example. It’s about time Abi checked them out but maybe she might be too operatic for Abi. Perhaps she should listen to ‘Sancta Terra’ by epica live from Retrospect to hear, the besties, Simone and Floor both together
@scifimonkey3 fair enough, but I've checked out lots of other Symphonic Metal and it doesn't do much for me, Epica are OK but, not anything like Nightwish. I never thought Symphonic Metal was for me (I mostly like stuff like Motorhead, Saxon, Priest, Sabbath, Anthrax, Machine Head etc) and it's not really, apart from Nightwish.
There is no more special version of Ever Dream than Tarja's performance during End of an Era in 2005. It is a must see. A song written for Tarja and performed by her. This is the truth. The rest is bias towards Floor.
@НиколайПетков-н4ж don't be ridiculous, I prefer Floor's voice, although Tarja is awesome and hugely talented. It's no bias to Floor, just a simple preference. If your preference is Tarja that's entirely fine and fair. Having said that, it is certainly worth checking the Tarja version, it's excellent, and the End of an Era version is particularly poignant, and it's pretty clear that Tuomas is feeling that in the video.
Hiya Abi... Agreed Floor is out of this world! She is from the Metallands (a part of the Netherlands where we lace the drinking water with heavy metals 😆🤘) It is the same place where Anneke van Giersbergen (the Gathering, the Gentle Storm, VuuR &z.), Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Simone Simons (EPICA), Charlotte Wessels (fmr Delain), Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion, MaYaN), Dianne van Giersbergen (fmr Xandria, fmr Ex-Libris), Zora Cock (Blackbriar) and many more come from. And not to forget Irene Janssen (Floor's slightly taller kid sister) and Lisette van den Berg, with whom most of the others shined in one or more Ayreon projects. So much to enjoy 🤘🤘🤘
Great list and ditto move to include Marcela as an "honorary Dutchie". Let's not tell anyone she's from M.. (ergens ver hiervandaan). And Lisette.. oh how I miss her in Ayreon!
@@hermenw.huiskamp8555 Fun fact: that's the same primate center I worked at (in between studies Biology/Psychology). Really interesting research (vnl. Java-apen) with Jan van Hooff as our undisputed leader. If I'd tell Lisette abt the system we used to name the monkeys, she'd know that I worked there (assuming they still use the same method). Cheers!
@Abigirl_Reacts And, according to what I read, the differences between her and the rest of the members of the band allegedly, had to do with the fact that she was from Sweden, not from Finland.. That's what I heard...I might be wrong, but that's what I read somewhere.. 🤔
*Anette didn't quit or got sacked [ because she was from Sweden ].....she got sick in the middle of the U.S.-Tour, the rest of NIGHTWISH did not want to cancel the concerts, so they've survived the "Denver"-concert with the help of the guest-vocalists of the opening band [ of the North American-Tour leg ] KAMELOT, Swedish/Finnish Elize Ryd and Canadian Alissa White-Gluz. After that Tuomas called Floor [ born in the Netherlands ], if she would join them as a "replacement vocalist"....* ⬅🎸🥁🎸🎵💿🔊
She's pretty awesome. Easily one of the best vocalists I've ever heard. Her tone, range, technical ability, the dynamics and harmonics in her voice... all great.
A live performance, beyond just the voice, is imbued with an intense energy and depth that truly sweeps you away, immersing you fully into the unfolding story. It’s as if each note, each movement, and each gesture carries a magnetic force that draws you in, making you feel as though you’re part of the experience, breathing life into every moment. The vibrancy and immediacy of a live setting create a compelling atmosphere that allows you to feel, see, and live the story on a profoundly emotional level.
As you noticed Floor sings most of the parts where Annette don’t! Annette voice is much more childlike “poppylike” and you hear the difference between them two.
First nightwish song I heard was The Islander from quite a few years back but didn’t listen to anymore until someone said to check out this song and the live wacken version. So my first experience of floor and my first floorgasm that turned my spine to jelly
Tarja (Ta ya) had songs that really fit her voice well, but have been off the playlist for over a decade. Anette has a voice that's unique, but a heavy touring schedule takes it's toll on her. She now works as a nurse, does the odd live show, and still releases her own albums. Floor adapts to any music. Half of the songs at Wacken were songs originated by Tarja, the other half were songs originated by Anette. Once Floor became a permanent member, Tuomas has explored the outer limits of Floor's voice.
Ever Dream from this concert Floor says its her hardest song to sing , Bass player also sings on it . Another song i recommend is I Want My Tears Back in Beunos Aires Argentina in 2018 which has the 6th member of Nightwish on the pipes
Nightwish has had 3 lead singers... Tarja Turunen from 1996 to 2005 ... she was "let go" due to some behind the scenes drama...and letting her go nearly destroyed the band and nearly destroyed Tuomas, as they were LONG time good friends... FYI, the song "The Poet And The Pendulum" is the song that Tuomas had to write because of all of the drama after she was "let go" Anette Olzon from 2007 to 2012 ... she left the band when she got too ill to continue and of course Floor Jansen from 2012 to present. All 3 are highly talented, but in my opinion Floor is FAR and above the best!
@@vogel2280 This. Anette and the band already knew should would be to far along in her pregnancy to travel for teh South American dates. They had discussed using a guest singer for that part of teh tour and everyone agreed. Then around the time Anette got sick they let her know that they were asking Floor to be the guest singer. When she heard she changed her mind about having a guest singer (she has said in an interview that she knew once everyone heard her with Nightwish she would be out of a job) and asked the band to reschedule that part of the tour. That was a big no no and Tuomas and the band felt it was a selfish request and disrespectful to the fans so they fired her.
@@rnowak85 Well, (afaik) technically Anette quit. But I don't think the band left her with any other options. So, in reality it was a potáto, potàto situation. In this case quit and fired was kind of the same thing.
@@vogel2280 Agreed! I think Anette says she was fired while others have said she quit because she was mad they went ahead and did the Denver show while she was in the hospital instead of canceling the it. So kind of a perfect storm of conflict and drama that formally resulted in her quitting but she felt the band drove her to it.
That was a really fun reaction! Storytime is a song from Nightwish's Imaginaerum album. It is a concept album with the storyline of an old composer on his death bed reminiscing and reliving his life. In addition to the album Nightiwsh also wrote and filmed a movie of the same name using the music of the album as inspiration and of course the soundtrack. You see clips from the movie in the music video. The singer is their second singer, Anette Olzon. She is Swedish and has a very different voice from their first singer Tarja. After the traumatic and drama filled departure of Tarja (the guys fired her in a very public way via an open letter) they wanted a completely different sound and went with Anette's more pop/contemporary/jazz voice. Anette was also fired by the band in 2012 in the middle of the Imaginaerum tour and Floor was asked to replace her with only 48 hours notice. Anette is best listened to in the studio. Her best live performance is Slow Love Slow at the Montreaux Jazz festival. It is a smoky jazz inspired song which fits her voice perfectly. All of the songs at Wacken were written for previous singers so if you go listen to the studio versions you will hear either Tarja or Anette. I mostly prefer Floor but there are songs the other singers do that I prefer or like just as much. For Tarja checkout The Siren, Planet Hell, Nemo, Bless the Child, I wish I had an Angel, Sleeping Sun (2005 music video is gorgeous), or Forever Young. For Anette I would recommend Amaranth, Meadows of Heaven, and The Crow, The Owl, and The Dove. One of Tuomas's favorite topics or themes in his music is of lost innocence. As a poet and artist Tuomas values the sense of wonder and imagination that innocent children have. In Storytime the composer is remembering the joy he got from childhood tales, thus the references to Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland (Tuomas often uses literary references in his lyrics and as inspiration for songs). It is through these childhood stories that we discover ourselves and who we are (I am the story that will read you real). Song is inspired by a popular British Christmas movie The Snowman. Storytime" was born when Tuomas wondered why no-one had made a remake of the film, and pondered on what his version of the score to the scene in which "Walking in the Air" plays would sound like. Tuomas ""How would it feel to take a midnight flight with a snowman through the most wondrous landscapes, like in the classic animated Yuletide film? The meaning of our very existence is created though stories, tales and imagination. They are at the very core of humanity." Walking on the Air is a very popular Christmas song in the UK and Finland and Nightwish did a beautiful cover of it with their first singer Tarja that is worth reacting to.
If you want to check more out by Anette you should definitely check out The Dark Element. It is the band Anette is with now. This band suits her voice better.
@@Abigirl_Reactsshe is a nurse but she still has a band. They are not active a lot but occasionally they do some shows. I also heard a few months ago they were planning on releasing another album at some point.
Anette has a more "pop" style voice. Greenscreen and storyboard... Tuomas, Marko, and Emppu in smart suits! Jukka on drums, the pirate! Tuomas with "Phantom of the Opera" mask. Then live at Wacken, with Floor, woo hoo! "Follow the madness, Alice, you know, once did!" You face says it all.
The three singers were/are: 1996 - 2005 Tarja Turunen, 2007 - autum 2012 Anette Olzon, since autumn 2012 Floor Jansen. This video is from the movie "Imaginaerum" and the Anette era (Anette left because of health problems and was replaced by Floor). All three singers have very different voices and styles: Tarja mostly operatic, Anette mostly poppy (and one jazzy song "Slow love slow" which really is worth a listening because it fits Anette's voice very well), Floor most versatile (all from opera to death metal growls). At the Wacken concert Floor sang only songs that had been written for the two former singers and made them her own. E.g. "Romanticide": The last high "cry" originally was only sung by Marko but Floor was able to join him. E.g. "Ghost Love Score": In the original version the last high belt is missing (and also some other details Floor added). E.g. "Storytime": Floor sang some of the parts that has been sung by a choir in the original version. She is my absolute favourite singer (not only with Nightwish).
Floor is one of the very best of all genres. Versatile performer, stunning similing, attacks my heart each time, even after 100-times listen to NW and Floor. She is a wonderful person
Enjoying your nightwish journey everdream is a great song and floor has described it as the hardest of the catalogue to sing as she is at the top of her range for a lot of the song but you also get to hear how good Marco is vocally
The video initially depicts scenes from the film "Imaginaerum", tht features Nightwish during the Anette Olzon era. It's also available via RUclips. The film pertains to the subject of dementia and end of life issues. The boy is the young Tom (Tuomas) manifest in the fantasy of the elder Tom. The clowns pertain to a circus in which Tom's memories are being obliterated, but the song "Scaretale", not "Storytime" is featured in that film segment. Some scenes pertaining to "Slow Love Slow" also appear in this video. Anette brought a pop sound into the band but audiences immediately embraced Floor Jansen when she filled in for the ailing Anette and then replaced her. Also, the "j" in "Tarja" is pronounced like a "y": "TAR-ya TOO-roo-nen" and "YAN-sen"
I have crowdsurfed many times in my younger days. Unfortunately time takes its toll and I’m now too old and damaged to take part these days. Back in the old days before health and safety had been invented I also used to take part in the ancient rite of stage diving. It was almost like a rite of passage for any serious gig goer. Ahh happy days.
Hi Abi, interesting reaction, but I think you can confirm, there can only be one.... and her name is Floor Jansen. Ever Dream will be on your list, so whenever you're ready, I'm ready....
I kind of forget about the Anette era. She was a very different style of singer. And... well I don't feel like she fit the vibe of the band as well tbh. Thin and fragile in comparison. With that said, Slow Love Slow with her is a fantastic song.
Amaranth, Last Ride Of The Day, Song Of Myself, Rest Calm, Turn Loose The Mermaids, The Heart I Once Had, so many classic songs dude, Floor might do some better but they're still from Anette's era.
You know how great Floor is??? Look at how many women fans that just love and adore her. The men she has locked up like the Valkyrie Goddess she is but women fawn over her just as much. You should check out her songs from the Dutch singing show from 2019 where she stunned everyone singing a wide range including Lady Gaga, she was must watch TV every Saturday!!!
Anette was around when Nightwish made there movie Imaginaerum and they were on tour in the U.S when a pregnant Anette became very unwell and was rushed off to Hospital 2012 Anette is more Pop sounding. The band played parts in this film. The movie is about an old man who has Dementia and is dying the relationship breakdown between him and his daughter and the secret memories he hilds inside of his past piecing together his locked away pain from his past. This movie is a bit of a kids film with a very dark twist. Floor helped out see the mini documentary Learn the set list in 48 hours. 2013 Floor became the lead vocalist along with there multi instrunentalist Troy.
@@Abigirl_ReactsYes a lot of the footage you see in the music video with the greenscreen , Tuomas the composer/keyboardist running around, evil clown make-up and even Anette in the evil Snow White outfit* is behind the scenes stuff from the movie. The film was a Canadian/Finnish co-production. I think the main actors were Canadian or American, but the band provide the music for the film and appear in certain scenes performing and small roles acting (Tuomas in particular). I think Floor's version is great for live, as her powerful voice and style gives the song such an anthemic quality. Anette's studio version works well in context of the film though. Her clear thinner voice has a certain childlike quality that fits the scene in which the music is played very well. Without spoiling too much, as been mentioned above the film is about an old man with dementia who digressed to a childlike state forgetting his adult memories. He is drawn into a dream/fantasy world, and a version of that song with Annete's vocals plays softly in the background just after he has been drawn into the world. Her voice works well from the child's perspective, if that makes sense. I love Floor, but I appreciate the other two singers. Good songs with Annete Olzon: Scaretale: bear in mind she is playing a character role here, so not her typical voice but she performs it with such wicked relish. I saw a dodgy video version (dodgy due to the recording quality, nothing against their performance )with Floor, but this is one Annete owns, I think. There is a good fanmade video including scenes from the movie which is very good, but the official live video isn't bad. The sound is okay, but the footage is a bit rough.) Amaranth - official music video. (Floor does a good live performance at the Wacken 2013 concert, but the video is very interesting.) Slow Love Slow - live video from the Montreaux Jazz Festival. An unusual piece for Nightwish as this is a bluesy Jazz piece. People will tell you Annette isn't good in live performances (although she spent time unwell and tired and so I'm not sure how much was due to that). This is not one of those songs. She is SO good in this. Meadows of Heaven - studio performance. Beautiful slow song which suits her well. There is a very good lyrics video, I think fan-made. There are a couple of live performance videos too with dubious recording quality, one with Nightwish, one with Annette and an orchestra. They are worth it to see a bit more of her range as she goes gospel style at the end and does so well. The studio version (which I highly recommend) has actual gospel singers for that part, but Anette does it herself in the live performances, bless her. The Crow, The Owl and the Dove - official fan video. Annette's voice is lovely in this, and Marko the basist (and composer of the music of this song- Tuomas wrote the lyrics) has an equal role in vocals. You will also hear Troy sing a small part in this. More poppy than their usual music but not in a bad way. A lovely song and sweet video, but the video is a bit of a heart-wrencher. Eva -studio. I don't think there's a music video, but the song is worth a listen. A sweet slow song. Bye bye Beautiful - music video - with Anette and Marko on vocals. A bit of a controversial one as it's apparently an angry song aimed at Tarja** Terrunen the first singer. (Its a long story, I wont get into here.) On its own merits its a good angry hard rock song though and a fun video showing a whole new look for the other band members....😂 *Although this song actually is a background track in the film, but you see the band with Anette wearing that outfit performing another song called Scaretale. ** Her name is pronounced something like "Tah-rrree-ya" 'J' has a 'y' sound in Finnish. (Not a criticism of you. How are you to know just from text, unless you've heard it? Just letting you know.) I wrote three rs as the 'r' is trilled "rrr" but nobody will fault you if you don't do that😂. I know you prefer Floor, but there are great songs swith her. I won't go into here as this post is too long. Sorry I got carried away...😊
Great reaction! Floor is actually the 3rd (and current) female singer for Nightwish. Tarja was first and Anette was 2nd. This official Storytime video features Anette. Each of the singers contributed to make NW the band it is today!
You can always easily tell, from Tuomas's facial features on stage, how he feels how his creation, Nightwish, is doing at the moment - since Floor joined the band, his smiles keep getting larger and larger LOL!
There have been two singers prior to Floor Jansen. Tarja (Tar-ee-ahh) Turanen was the original lead singer and after a well documented and public fallout, Annette Olzon (who is in the first video) took over. After Anette's departure, Floor became the lead. Tarja has been described as having a more operatic style, Annette more of a pop sound, and finally our queen Floor who is classically trained can do it all...and then some.
This is from the "Imaginaerum" sound track. It's a movie that Tuomas wrote and it stars the members of the band. A lot of the songs from the Wacken concert are from this movie, they were just reinvented by Floor. The scenes in this music video are taken on the set while they were filming. Excellent reaction Abi 🤗
The first singer in this video was Anette Olzon. The record and tour was first hers, but fights broke out with her and her health was tenuous. In the end, while touring in October 2012, she was fired. Floor was hired to complete the tour through 2013. Floor was then invited to be a permanent member (along with Troy) later 2013.
@@Abigirl_Reacts Tarja was fired because the band was increasingly fighting with her husband - There's an open letter written to her published when she was fired. It created quite the firestorm. When Anette was fired, it wasn't publicly except just to announce it was done. A few things contributed. The band felt she was somewhat unprofessional. Her private life leeched into band business. One time she lost a custody agreement and told the band she could go on, then burst into tears and ran off stage in the middle of a song (to be fair it is a difficult song emotionally). At the time, NW was doing gigs about every other night. She wasn't handling the stress well. She looked like she had gained weight (possibly from her pregnancy). It affected her singing (not surprising, but when you see how well Floor handles it in "Tribal" - just saying. She accused the band of her not getting her share of the proceeds, but took no responsibility for the fact that her singing style drove away a lot of fans creating a drop in revenue. Neither she or the band will talk about it. NW learned it's lesson after publicly firing Tarja with a letter that basically went too far and humiliated (though things they said were not denied by her). Tarja was the darling of Finland and they took it hard. Friends of Tuomas and Tarja turned on one or the other. There's a song written from Tuomas' point of view that is a musical suicide. It's called "The Poet and the Pendulum" It's worth a listen, BUT read the letter first. Less of a firestorm over Anette being fired and after Floor was seen at Wacken, fans became excited and flocked back. Keep in mind - the tickets were sold with Anette's name on them the year before because Wacken sells out a year in advance. Even when we knew Floor would be singing we didn't know how she'd fit with NW. At Wacken, she was "filling in" until the end of the tour. Later that year she and Troy became permanent members. From the first song, Floor had everyone convinced, and the band had experienced enough prior calm and no more fighting to seriously think about making her permanent. She's Dutch, but the funny thing is that even by 2019 she was virtually unknown in her own country because the Netherlands prefers pop music and has very little market for metal. She went on a Dutch show called Beste Zangers and showed various talents with other singers and suddenly became massively popular in her country.
Thanks for another Nightwish reaction. :) About "Everdream" : this SHOULD be on your list for sure! .... actually each and every song from Nightwish at Wacken 2013 should. 🤘
Thumbs up for you doing the double reaction, very appropriate in this case! "Storytime" was originally an Annette song, but Floor really "stole" it from her. Floor's performance has a gravitas - and that wonderful operatic part along with the children's choir - that the official video just does not go for. Still, Annette's whimsical, shadow-and-light performance gives its own flavor to the track. To hear Annette in her sphere, do in your own time check out songs like "Meadows of Heaven" (even GREGORIAN covered it for one of their "psalms", so it must be something!), "Scaretale". or "The Crow, the Owl and the Dove" to see where her voice shines... Oh, and "Slow, Love, Slow". That is another universe altogether, one where Annette is the Queen.
Look at the faces of the band. Listen to the crowd shouting her name. Floor joining Nightwish has taken them to another level and everyone knows it. She didn't need fancy studios and an army of engineers to make her sound as good as possible; she's just that great.
❤❤❤ Live all day, everyday for Nightwish for me. 😊 The exception, though, for me, is the Human Nature album Lyric videos are fire too for doubles, and the Noise video is great. 😊 Floors solo album is great as well 😊 Yes that was Annette - she struggled a bit live with consistency - best live imo is her duet with Marko for the song "Slow, Love, Slow" at the Montreal Jazz Festival they played. Tarja was very operatic but much loved as the first singer of course. Floor is just on another level for versatility, range, breath control, and pitch. Fyi: in almost all European countries the letter J is pronounced as a Y, and most the letter W is a V. So Tarja=Tarya and Floor Jansen =Yansen. The concert of the last song is in Wacken, Germany=Vacken. 😊
@@kebra1961 I don't wanna spoil the reasons for your suggestions - but both are great when witnessed live, and not so impressive on screen. But Troy's e-bow is what makes me prefer the Wembley version as a whole.
Annette Olzon is the 2nd vocalist. She was the original vocalist on this song. A much more pop rock style vocalist. Toumas thought it would be difficult and inappropriate to find another operatic style singer. Nightwish created a short movie based around the Imaginearum record. Nightwish is always best live! Floorgasms abound! Enjoy the sensation!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤘🤘 Prepare for "Ever Dream"! 🌹🌹
Ever Dream should be next. Annette Olson was the singer in the video. She has more of a poppy voice and real good for the video Amaranth. Great reaction and thoughts.
Been waiting for you to do more Nightwish! Glad to see this one. Floor's version just blows the video away. There is so, so much for you to experience, please keep going down this rabbit hole! Ever Dream (Wacken) should be next, as others have pointed out. Romanticide (Wacken) as well. Every song from Wacken should happen, but Seven Days to the Wolves (Wembley) is one of my absolute favorites and should be on your near-term list.
Great reaction Abi. 🙂 Floor is an enchantress - she draws you in, enthralls and seduces you. The whole band is incredible .... they make me grin like a maniac one minute, then bring tears to my eyes the next. Tuomas is a genius of epic proportions, and in Floor (along with the rest of the band) he has the perfect tool to manifest his vision and present something truly extraordinary. Together, they have a way of touching your soul. All the very best from the Canberra Regiment, Australian Division, Nightwish Army.
Ah, others have explained the singers so I will skip that. You will not hear Floor on a music video until Endless Forms Most Beautiful, and the 2015 tour. You will need to remember that going forward. One thing you need to be aware of is Annette was a pop rock singer only. During her tenure the band did not play Ghost Love Score, which was a Tarja song. Only Floor can sing both types of music and make them sound better. Ha, for the fun of it check her channel she has a great video of her reacting to the Wacken Ghost Love Score performance. As for next songs? Do the next song you saw Everdream, it is glorious.
Anette Olzon - second singer with Nightwish - her two albums with Nightwish sold the greatest amounts until recently when the last album with Tarja, the first singer, entitled "Once", finally caught up. Scenes from the Nightwish movie "Imaginaerum" in the first video. Anette was very "poppy" and "jazzy" with her sound. IMO Some of Tuomas's greatest orchestral compositions are on the albums "Dark Passion Play" and "Imaginaerum" before "The Greatest Show on Earth". Floor changed parts of this track to suit her style but her empathy for the lyrics and the intent of the composition shine!
👍Being "biased"about live performances is something i fully understand and agree with, there is so much fake going on in studio environments. It's even getting harder to hear if some live performers are really live( as a former sound technician ,i can tell),Floor is the "real deal"a very well balanced and sofisticated vocalist after many years of hard work and lot's of talent in many way's.No use of pitch correction software or lip syncing,it's just mind blowing, how good Floor has become and can do this high level of vocal acrobatics for a whole concert wich ,mostly,is 1H45. There are ofcourse more good vocalists, especcially in the metal realm, where fake will not be apreciated that much(say the least)😆 Surely ,there are very good studio songs but, it's just nice to know if "they" can deliver that live also. Nightwish is such a band ,who can deliver, live and most of the time, even better live.🤘
Hello I have some info on Floor Jansen for you here. She is married to Hannes Van Dahl, drummer of the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Together they have 2 daughters (Freja & Lucy) Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 3 octaves (C3 to F6). Re-singing style ranges from opera to screams and grunts. She usually sings in English, in addition she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish. Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she cool singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016. From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. Hi Abigirl, yes, you got it right. Tarja was the first and original singer of the band and was known for her operatic vocals. The second singer, who came after her was Anette, who is the one, you saw in the music video at the beginning. She was more of a contemporary singer and was great at belting. She left during a tour and then Floor was hired to finish the tour and as a guest singer afterwards. The live performances you have watched (Ghost Love Score and Story Time) are from Wacken 2013, which was the concert in which Floor was announced as the new regular singer of Nightwish, which she is until this day. Floor can basically sing everything, no matter if it is classic (operatic), Pop or Rock or whatever Tuomas is imagining. And i absolutely agree with you: While all of the Nightwish singers were incredible in their own way and stand for specific eras of the band, Floor is something special. When it comes to recommendations: The entire Wacken 2013 concert is pretty much obligatory with my personal favourites, you have not watched yet, would be Romanticide, Song of Myself and Everdream. From the Wembley Concert you should listen to Poet and the Pendulum (careful here! you should do some research before listen to that, because it deals with Tuomas' feelings when the first singer, Tarja, left the band, so to understand it better, you should know everything about her departure). Then the "Greatest Show on Earth" from the concert in Tampere is also a must watch and one of the great masterpieces of Tuomas. Last but not least, the complete new album Yesterwynde is absolutely great. You already head Lanternlight from it but the other songs are awesome as well. Just don't expect seeing any live performances from the new album because it's brand new.
Annette was just about bearable on album, but live she was just attrocious a lot of the time. I don't mind Tarja (in small doses, it's a bit exhausting after a whilte), but Floor really makes all the songs she sings something special.
@@Abigirl_ReactsFloor is my favorite of the 3. Tarja has a very different sound than Floor. The 2 singing the same song has a very different feel. Both versions of the song are amazing. For some songs I like Tarja better and other songs Floor. I think Annette is a great singer. I enjoy her solo album. In my opinion she and Nightwish were not a good match. When Annette was chosen to replace Tarja they specifically wanted someone who sounded very different from Tarja to avoid any copy cat kind of scandal. As a consequence Annette struggled in live performance to sing the popular songs written for Tarja. 2 of my favorite 3 Nightwish albums were written for and recorded by Annette. Each of these 3 women have made huge positive contributions to the band's legacy.
Singers: Tarja Turunen (Tar-ee-ah) and Anette. You need Poet and the Pendulum and also Dead Boy's poem... among many other. Romanticide, Ghost River, etc.. Also.. side note and curiosity. Su-metal said she wanted to sing Storytime with Floor Jansen. Floor is also married to Sabaton's drummer Hannes, that have toured with Babymetal! Crowdsurfing isn't only for fun.. it's one of the unwritten rules.. if someone isn't feeling well, they are carried to the pit (space between barrier and stage) so that security / emergency staff can help. It's common to see metal bands on stage signaling to security of events happening beyond the barrier, so they are ready.
Tarja Turunen (1996-2005), Anette Olzon (2007-2012), Floor (2012 to present). Tarja (pronounced TaRRRRia) was all opera or classical voice, Anette was all pop, while Floor is any genre you want. A brief singer history. Tarja and her husband/manager were on bad terms with the band management. She quit the band to go solo, but agreed to stay on to complete the tour and record the next album. Just like anyone else when we hand in our notice at work, her focus was no longer on the band which caused problems with meeting her commitments to the band. Marko dropped an ultimatum, either she goes or he goes and away she went, fired at the end of a concert. The PR process afterward was extremely badly handled by the band, leading to a lot of blowback from the fans. Even the prime minister of Finland had a comment. "The Poet and the Pendulum" masterpiece was written as a result. "Bye, Bye beautiful" and "Master Passion Greed" were written about Tarja and her husband respectively. To this day a lot of Tarja fans paint her as this poor innocent victim, which she most definitely wasn't, though her husband deserves the bulk of the blame. There's an e-book available "Once Upon a Nightwish" that covers the entire Tarja era, I've read it and no one comes out smelling like a rose. Anette managed to get pregnant in the middle of the Imaginaerum tour. She wanted to have the rest of the tour postponed/cancelled once she got to the point where it would be difficult to continue, which the band was unwilling to do. She reluctantly agreed to a replacement singer, then hit the spin cycle when she heard that the band was thinking about Floor. Anette had taken a lot of flack from the Tarja fans and she knew that she would be on the receiving end of more fan abuse when she came back from mat leave after the fanbase had experienced Floor. That understandable meltdown resulted in her being fired. Floor was at her sister's wedding, totally oblivious to all of this, when she received a phone call from band management asking her to jump on a plane and fly from the Netherlands to Seattle, WA. She had 48 hours to get there and learn 15 songs from scratch. There's an interesting documentary about this, "Please Learn the Setlist in 48 Hours".
She's Anette Olzon, the 2nd singer, who sung on this album ("Imaginaerum") and "Dark Passion Play". So, the original singer on "Storytime" was Anette. Tarja is the first. She's the reason why Nightwish sounds like... Nightwish !
Hi Abi, great reactions, if you want to know a bit of the back story, please watch ‘Learn the set list in 48hrs’, which is all Floor had to learn their set list, amazing documentary. 😁
As a Swede is it great that you show the video with Anette, but honestly does Floor make it so much better. So a good tip, if you want to check out a song from them. See if you can find it live, and especially from Waken, then you get the best experience.
This concert was where most of the crowd were being introduced to Floor. She was a fill in at this concert and she had not been on one of Nightwish albums yet. They like you were having their first Floorgasms.
I guess you have your playlist from Gabriel. Keep following the list. Just short history on Nightwish vocalists: - Tarja Turunen is the original and first vocalist. Very operatic style. At the end of "End of an Era" tour, the band submitted a letter to let Tarja go coz she has been toxic to the band with her boyfriend trying to push Tuomas to focus on Tarja's career instead of Nightwish as a band. Tuomas is Nightwish and the rests are instrumentalist musicians. You can compare noth Nightwish and Tarja's musical career, while Nightwish soar internationally, Tarja has reached her max and only maintain her status. - Annette Olson was hired to replace Tarja and became the 2nd Nightwish vocalist. Olzon has very pop vocal style with Jazzy touch. Nightwish got exposed to new audience, including me, with Olson's vocal style and rise to international famedom. Unfortunately, Olson became entitled and she couldn't keep up with heavy road tour Nightwish was doing at the time, even got pregnant during the tour. Nightwish let her go after her absence causing the band a lot of problems. - Floor Jansen was called to fill Olson's position during the Showtime, Storytime road tour, which you kept reacting to 2013 Wacken event. Floor has been fronting metal bands for around 20 years at the time and she was considered to replace Tarja, but her band at the time, ReVamp, was successful and busy roadshowing. ReVamp was vacant and ended up disbanded in 2014. Floor was recruited permanently and her heartaches with her bands disbanded in the past made her very determined to give herself 100% to the band. Floor is still with Nightwish even though her debut pop rock album was a success. Recommendation: Want to see what Floor Jansen can do? React to this: ReVamp - Wild Card (2014) Live at Bloodstock ruclips.net/video/GpZMFALYeGc/видео.htmlsi=rca73VwrnuKHJK1B
@@Abigirl_Reacts Did you know Nightwish made 2 films? 1 is a documentary about how Floor Jansen joined the band. Another is Imaginaerum, a full featured film made based on the album Imaginaerum, which includes Storytime as the first single.
Floor's band at the time that Tarja was fired in 2005 was After Forever. Revamp was her band when Nightwish called. She continued to do both bands until she choose to disaband Revamp in 2016 after having been on hiatus since 2014. It was just to much work to support both bands, especially since Floor was the leader of Revamp and was in charge of everything (songwriting, band management, tour scheduling, etc.).
Now, after admitting that Floor is my favorite singer still performing today, PERIOD (Linda Ronstadt is my favorite singer of all time but no longer performs), Anette and Tarja both have great voices. Anette was probably less well received because of her more pop music sounding voice but if you really want to hear Anette at her best, listen to the studio version of the Nightwish songs, with Anette, "Eva" and "Meadows of Heaven". They are beautiful songs and Anette's voice matches them perfectly and I can't imagine hearing anyone else singing them. Tarja has several songs that are thought to be hers alone...but that's for another time. Like your reaction, and yeah, Floor gives me chills everytime. New Sub.
Tarja first (pronounced tar-ya). And if Everdream isn't on your list, put it on. And always go for the live performances - they are what Nightwish is all about. And Tuomas won't call Floor the third singer. He refers to her as the final singer.
You have officially caught the Nightwish bug Abi …happy to say there is no known cure at this time…nor is anyone working on one😉👍 Subscribed so I can follow you on this epic journey…🤘🤘
Since I got to know NW at the beginning of the pandemic, to me NW is Floor. Listened to Tarja once in 5 years, 'Scarytale', and that role fit her perfectly, but that was it. Annette who? LOL
Really enjoyed your reaction. Floor is incredible one of the top singers in the world. If you’d like to hear another female incredible singer that will give you chills and amaze you please react to Diana Ankudinova performing, I can’t help falling in love with you
In case you could not enjoy Tarja's voice as much yet, you should listen to Walking In The Air or Deep Silent Complete (both live from Wishes to Eternity). It may not click on the 1st go. If it still doesn't after, say, the 5th, then opera indeed is not your thing - which is totally fine. Or you do the studio version of Shoemaker (with Floor) first. In the last third she sings in a really delicate operatic manner - just chills all over.
"Everdream" is on every list. 😉 Floor somehow retains her richness of tone even when belting out a high D or F. Other singers can get there, but none of them sound as good.
Anette was the lead vocalist at that time. Floor replaced Annette. The music video is really very good! Of course, Floor kills it in the live at Sacked Music Fest! 82000 in attendance!
"Ever Dream" should be on your list. Tarja was first, Anette was second, and Floor is current. "Ocean of these Strange Islands" is really great, but is a lyric video only because NW hasn't toured since Floor had her second daughter (Lucy) a little less than a year ago.
@AbiGirls: You will get to the heavy NW song, too. If you can't wait "Yours is an empty hope" Wembley live. And I really hope you will jump down deeper the rabbit hole and start to react to EPICA "Code of Life" AFAS live. But if you need Floor - Epica feat Floor Jansen "Sancta Terra" live.
Yes, you remembered correctly. The first singer was Tarja (pronounced Tarya) and the second was Anette. Preemptively joining your patreon for when you do 'Everdream' 😂
Floor has only been featured on the last three albums. Anette did the previous two and Tarja did the first five albums. Obviously there are songs from the first seven albums performed live by Floor as like any band they play their older material in shows as well as the current albums songs. Generally Tuomas has modified his writing to match the style and abilities of each lead singer but also to the strengths of the back up and occasional lead singers Marko and Troy.
"Ever dream" same concert and you ll have chills for one week straight lol :D

I believe you!

She is from the Metallands (a part of the Netherlands where we lace the drinking water with heavy metals 😆🤘)
It is the same place where Anneke van Giersbergen (the Gathering, the Gentle Storm, VuuR &z.), Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Simone Simons (EPICA), Charlotte Wessels (fmr Delain), Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion, MaYaN), Dianne van Giersbergen (fmr Xandria, fmr Ex-Libris), Zora Cock (Blackbriar) and many more come from.

The singer in the video was Annette who left mid tour. Remember Floor was brought in as a replacement singer to finish the tour after Annette quit.
She got sacked. Lets tell it how it is.
No way!
@Abigirl_Reacts And, according to what I read, the differences between her and the rest of the members of the band allegedly, had to do with the fact that she was from Sweden, not from Finland.. That's what I heard...I might be wrong, but that's what I read somewhere.. 🤔
@@fonsecorona Floor is also not from Finland. So, I don't see the logic.
Well said!
The singer was Anette Olzon, who was Nightwish's lead singer 2006 - 2012. She did a good job, and had a decent solo career.
Is she still singing today?
@Abigirl_Reacts Yes, actually she released new album "Rapture" earlier this year.
As you noticed Floor sings most of the parts where Annette don’t! Annette voice is much more childlike “poppylike” and you hear the difference between them two.
Oh yea there's a vast difference between the two voices for sure
First nightwish song I heard was The Islander from quite a few years back but didn’t listen to anymore until someone said to check out this song and the live wacken version. So my first experience of floor and my first floorgasm that turned my spine to jelly
Its an amazing feeling!
She's a nurse now, wow!
@@Abigirl_ReactsAnnette's solo stuff is worth a listen.
Ever Dream from this concert Floor says its her hardest song to sing , Bass player also sings on it . Another song i recommend is I Want My Tears Back in Beunos Aires Argentina in 2018 which has the 6th member of Nightwish on the pipes
Everdream coming soon!
Nightwish has had 3 lead singers...
Tarja Turunen from 1996 to 2005 ... she was "let go" due to some behind the scenes drama...and letting her go nearly destroyed the band and nearly destroyed Tuomas, as they were LONG time good friends... FYI, the song "The Poet And The Pendulum" is the song that Tuomas had to write because of all of the drama after she was "let go"
Anette Olzon from 2007 to 2012 ... she left the band when she got too ill to continue
and of course Floor Jansen from 2012 to present.
All 3 are highly talented, but in my opinion Floor is FAR and above the best!
Floor is amazing that's for sure 👌
Anette was too a ill ... only a few days, she was too pregnant to finish the tour...and once she picked a fight she was too fired.
I gotta watch the movie they made!
If you want to check more out by Anette you should definitely check out The Dark Element. It is the band Anette is with now. This band suits her voice better.

She said that I think before Human Nature having songs like Shoemaker on the list. So I don't know if that statement still applies 🙂
I'll hand to watch that movie sometime
I have crowdsurfed many times in my younger days. Unfortunately time takes its toll and I’m now too old and damaged to take part these days. I kind of forget about the Anette era. She was a very different style of singer. And... well I don't feel like she fit the vibe of the band as well tbh. Thin and fragile in comparison. With that said, Slow Love Slow with her is a fantastic song.
Also "the crow, the owl and the dove" and "scaretale" are top tier songs from annette.
Thanks for the info! ^_^
I need to watch that!
Everdream, has GOT TO be on your list!
Coming soon!
I didn't know they made a movie
@Abigirl_Reacts ruclips.net/video/7Tn_ZgUmUTU/видео.htmlsi=mjkBVQ2X-LNyVxBe
Good songs with Annete Olzon:
Scaretale: bear in mind she is playing a character role here, so not her typical voice but she performs it with such wicked relish. I saw a dodgy video version (dodgy due to the recording quality, nothing against their performance )with Floor, but this is one Annete owns, I think. There is a good fanmade video including scenes from the movie which is very good, but the official live video isn't bad. The sound is okay, but the footage is a bit rough.)
Amaranth - official music video. (Floor does a good live performance at the Wacken 2013 concert, but the video is very interesting.)
Slow Love Slow - live video from the Montreaux Jazz Festival.
(Its a long story, I wont get into here.) On its own merits its a good angry hard rock song though and a fun video showing a whole new look for the other band members....😂
*Although this song actually is a background track in the film, but you see the band with Anette wearing that outfit performing another song called Scaretale.
There singers 1. Tarja Turnunen 1996 - 2005, 2. Anette Olzen 2007 - 2012, 3. Floor Jansen 2012 - current
I didn't realize how long this band has been around
Great reaction! Floor is actually the 3rd (and current) female singer for Nightwish. Tarja was first and Anette was 2nd. This official Storytime video features Anette. Each of the singers contributed to make NW the band it is today!
For sure!
You can always easily tell, from Tuomas's facial features on stage, how he feels how his creation, Nightwish, is doing at the moment - since Floor joined the band, his smiles keep getting larger and larger LOL!
I don't blame him haha
There have been two singers prior to Floor Jansen. Tarja (Tar-ee-ahh) Turanen was the original lead singer and after a well documented and public fallout, Annette Olzon (who is in the first video) took over. After Anette's departure, Floor became the lead. Tarja has been described as having a more operatic style, Annette more of a pop sound, and finally our queen Floor who is classically trained can do it all...and then some.
Taria? I was WAY off with my pronunciation lmao 🤣
@@Abigirl_Reacts It's ok, everyone does it, but yes that's right.
Good one. Only one Floor.
This ^
Tarja first - 1996 - 2005, Anette second (the one in the Storytime video) 2007 - 2012, Floor from late 2012 to the present day.
Got it ^_^ thank you
Still holding out for Epica with Apolyptica performing Rivers, followed by Epica's a capella version of Rivers live in rheir Omega concert.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
@@Abigirl_Reacts the two versions of Rivers would be a great double reaction the same way you react to Storytime here
This is from the "Imaginaerum" sound track. It's a movie that Tuomas wrote and it stars the members of the band. A lot of the songs from the Wacken concert are from this movie, they were just reinvented by Floor. The scenes in this music video are taken on the set while they were filming. Excellent reaction Abi 🤗
I've never seen the movie but it seems interesting!
Oh no why was she fired??
About "Everdream" : this SHOULD be on your list for sure! .... actually each and every song from Nightwish at Wacken 2013 should. 🤘
Added! Thank you!
Ok, thanks a lot for the suggestions!
Look at the faces of the band. Listen to the crowd shouting her name. Floor joining Nightwish has taken them to another level and everyone knows it. She didn't need fancy studios and an army of engineers to make her sound as good as possible; she's just that great.
Floor is a natural!
❤❤❤ Live all day, everyday for Nightwish for me. 😊
The exception, though, for me, is the Human Nature album Lyric videos are fire too for doubles, and the Noise video is great. 😊
Floors solo album is great as well 😊
Yes that was Annette - she struggled a bit live with consistency - best live imo is her duet with Marko for the song "Slow, Love, Slow" at the Montreal Jazz Festival they played.
Oh OK I got it, Tarja's name threw me off but I get it now!
Same concert, Ever Dream and Song Of Myself , in this 2 Songs you can hear 2 of the greatest voices from this Planet
Everdream coming soon!
Greatest show on earth by nightwish live in tampere next
.... and + the end from Wembley 🙏
@@kebra1961 I don't wanna spoil the reasons for your suggestions - but both are great when witnessed live, and not so impressive on screen. But Troy's e-bow is what makes me prefer the Wembley version as a whole.
How long is that song?
@@Abigirl_Reacts 16:30 + Outtro of the evening with a few minutes. But the outtro is worth watching as well.
@Abigirl_Reacts 20 minute, but it's worth it
Annette Olzon is the 2nd vocalist.
Prepare for "Ever Dream"! 🌹🌹
Everdream coming soon!
Ever Dream should be next. Annette Olson was the singer in the video. She has more of a poppy voice and real good for the video Amaranth. Great reaction and thoughts.
Everdream coming soon!
Everdream coming soon!
Enchantress is an appropriate way to describe her!
for the official video its anette olzon the lead vocalist and floor for the live
I see that ^_^
Everdream needs to be on your list...from Wacken 2013. It will blow your mind....
Coming soon!
I recommend Everdream be your next Nightwish reaction from this same concert. You will not be disappointed.
I believe you!
Everdream coming soon!
Thanks for all the suggestions!
Ever Dream is one of my favorites
Coming soon!
There are ofcourse more good vocalists, especcially in the metal realm, where fake will not be apreciated that much(say the least)😆
Surely ,there are very good studio songs but, it's just nice to know if "they" can deliver that live also. Nightwish is such a band ,who can deliver, live and most of the time, even better live.🤘
Live all the way I say! ^_^
One must say Nightwish had more than one great singers even if you love floor the most none been other than GREAT!
Besides its not fair comparing any female singer against Floor its like comparing a human singer to Dimash kuidabergen!
Floor is out of this world!

I love all three singers personally, for different reasons. Big thing for me though is I really feel like Anette's run was peak Nightwish songwriting.

Hello
I have some info on Floor Jansen for you here.
She is married to Hannes Van Dahl, drummer of the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Together they have 2 daughters (Freja & Lucy)
Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 3 octaves (C3 to F6).
Nightwish's second studio album with Jansen as front singer, Human. :II: Nature., was released in April 2020.
Greetings from the .
Thanks for the info! ^_^
According to various people Floor joined a week or so before this world tour and was givern less than a week to learn the entire set lyrics
Wow that's intense!
@@Abigirl_Reacts Ive subscribed to your site Abigirl , look forward to more Nightwish reactions from Wacken . Also if your into classical metal bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin , The Who, Rush . I will be happy to suggest the best videos on here to watch , they are generally the most watched TC xx
I'm glad I got the right about the singers!
First singer is Anette, 2nd singer of Nightwish :)
Got it! ^_^
Annette was just about bearable on album, but live she was just attrocious a lot of the time. I don't mind Tarja (in small doses, it's a bit exhausting after a whilte), but Floor really makes all the songs she sings something special.
The consensus seems to be that everyone is quite happy with Floor now ^_^
@@Abigirl_ReactsFloor is my favorite of the 3.
That's crazy!
48 hours wow, that is so impressive ^_^
There are certain songs where Annette shines. Meadows of Heaven, Eva, The crow, the owl and the dove for instance. Official videos.
How is she live?
She's Anette Olzon, the 2nd singer, who sung on this album ("Imaginaerum") and "Dark Passion Play". So, the original singer on "Storytime" was Anette.
Tarja is the first. She's the reason why Nightwish sounds like... Nightwish !
Interesting, thanks!

As a Swede is it great that you show the video with Anette, but honestly does Floor make it so much better.
So a good tip, if you want to check out a song from them. See if you can find it live, and especially from Waken, then you get the best experience.
I'm enjoying wacken to the fullest!
This concert was where most of the crowd were being introduced to Floor. She was a fill in at this concert and she had not been on one of Nightwish albums yet. They like you were having their first Floorgasms.
I believe you!
I guess you have your playlist from Gabriel. Keep following the list.
Just short history on Nightwish vocalists:
- Tarja Turunen is the original and first vocalist.

Wonderful, thank you for the suggestions!
There's a movie called ""Imaginaerum" of from which and making of it these clips are.
I'll have to watch this movie 🎬
"Everdream" is on every list. 😉
Floor somehow retains her richness of tone even when belting out a high D or F. Other singers can get there, but none of them sound as good.
Everdream coming soon!
Nice reaction and your surprise when you saw and heard Anette' that is not my Floor!😅🤘
Haha I didn't know, it through me off guard!
Annette was the 2nd singer and sometimes gets a bit of a rough deal from some quarters. but her quirky stuff like this was rather lovely!
How does she sound live?
@Abigirl_Reacts good but no where near the range and talent of Floor
I'm sure this song is in your list... Devil and the Deep, Dark Ocean from the Buenos Aries performance in 2018. Floor's voice at her best.
I didn't have either of those added actually! Thanks for the suggestions!
Good thing you watched the music video first, because if you had followed up Floor's performance with the studio version....
Haha SO true!
Anette was the lead vocalist at that time. Floor replaced Annette. The music video is really very good!
Of course, Floor kills it in the live at Sacked Music Fest! 82000 in attendance!
Dang autocorrect... That should be Wacken !!!
And yes, 3 lead vocalist, Tarja, Anette, & Floor.
So many people, wow!
There's my beautiful queen always look forward to Ur upload they make me so happy have an amazing night
You too
"Ever Dream" should be on your list. Tarja was first, Anette was second, and Floor is current. "Ocean of these Strange Islands" is really great, but is a lyric video only because NW hasn't toured since Floor had her second daughter (Lucy) a little less than a year ago.
Coming soon!
Ever dream not on your list 😂 put it on
Lovely reaction
Oh it's on now haha
UK Army popping in for a little story. Stay live and go for everdream or sleeping sun
Coming soon!
All noted, thanks so much!
Yes, you remembered correctly. The first singer was Tarja (pronounced Tarya) and the second was Anette. Preemptively joining your patreon for when you do 'Everdream' 😂
No way, thanks for the consideration! Everdream was just recorded so it's coming soon ^_^
Do ever dream next 🙏💙
Coming soon!
Wow there's so many albums!
