Great Video! Love your metro layout. Outstanding use of the lines. I liked the use of a time lapse too! For the last avail area to buy, id say either across the river (top left) or go for rail. Your city is looking great. Suggestion, change the trollies turn around by the highway to track only since no one will really want to live beside the highway off that road. Great video and addition to central park. Lastly, I like the attention to detail with the heights / style of buildings. Removing the big hospital from old town is a good idea. Lastly, lastly how is the Ice Cube Factory going. HAHA
Awesome videos!! Very informative, I'm still kinda new to the game but watching your series has really helped me on a lot of small petty things. Also road building because mine were a disaster 😂. Also helped me think about planning things a lot better I'm usually catching myself making boxes and making it look very mechanical.
Hopefully they can add a thing where you can travel on your public transport. Like a first person thing like you can with the camera now. I would love to go on my trams and monorails around the city
Loving the series keep em coming very informative and helpful for us console users .I wish we had the industry dlc and parks dlc as i know from watching pc users those dlcs are game changers cmon paradox gimme gimme !
Great video !! Thank you for the naming 😁 I like the metro a lot is a smart solution 🚇 on the future, yes go for tracks ( but I guess this late in the game it would be a pain to start placing rails ) it would be challenging. Great video as always keep them coming
this city is coming along great. i liked Rockdale but Santa Rico has much more natural feel to it. I really dig the Oldtown part and the big downtown area. Good job man
I don't think ive seen any one else be as god at metro lines and explaining them, you're videos have massively helped me with my metro systems, that an living in the UK our underground is pretty good for connecting lines so always try to use that model for designing them. One thing id really like more info on is Taxis and the best use of them etc and maybe the cable car (That mountain might be a good area for that?) NB re: hospital, did you know theres "old" looking service buildings you can get access to. At least on the PS4 there is so I assume on the xbox as well. Under districts if you select a distract there should be a "blue" icon that has a house on it, I think tis next to the rename icon, in there you can select European looking buildings and theres an option to turn on All building styles which by doing that gives access to a different looking fire/police/hospital/university etc etc, I stumbled upon this the other night
Loving the city man! Really like the street car, need to get that into my current city somehow...I am to the point of needed metro pretty bad in mine...that will be my weekend project!!
Nice job so far. Have a couple questions and something I learned on another channel that I haven't seen on yours yet. When you start your next series on the PC, will you be open to using workshop maps or built-in ones only? If you are, will there be a community vote for the map? As for what I learned: (Could be PC specific) When you are on the 'Lines details' screens for Public Transport, you can click on each line and view how many people are waiting at each stop for that line. If there are an excess of people, you can individually increase the budget for that line to add more buses to it, without affecting others. I've been looking into the 'Priority road' feature under the Routes view as well, and if random commenters online are believable, then when you mark a route as 'priority', it will automatically add stop signs to the side streets along it. (By the way, when you begin your next city. I wouldn't mind seeing a 'Buccaneer' district. Thanks for the videos.)
Keep up the good work man. Really enjoying the videos. Wouldn't mind seeing you make one big city and smaller cities in the outskirts. Think you would be pretty good at it. That's what I always aim for but it never works out lol
Yay! Earliest I've been to one of your videos! Came in at 142 views :D .... If I seen it right, I believe by the airports there is a tile for more highway, but also rail. I think that would be the best option if that is the case. Kinda keep all the air, sea and rail together in one area. Just a thought. I would like to see, when you are done with this city, a full on build in one go of a city. Just add everything at the beginning then watch what happens when you get done and unpause it. I've tried it a little bit, but don't have all the monuments or much of the requirements for the monuments to do it full on. You don't have to, just a suggestion.
This was the episode I was waiting for all season. I'm glad that even though You "time lapsed" the build, you still explained in detail What happened. Thanks! I have one big question, is the mass transit making money? Or at least.. breaking even. Mine always seem to bleed money even when I micro manage it to fine detail, controlling the number of vehicles used Etc. I can get them to high values of "car trips saved" But it doesn't ever seem to make the green. It Just minimizes the damage and the problem is eventually that will kill your city. So. Did this build turn a profit? Thanks
I’m about a year late, but I’m really enjoying your shows. I play on Switch, so I don’t have access to stop light control vs stop signs. Do you have more traffic tips that don’t involve that? My people all line up in the same lane even 20 intersections away. Great job and thanks for the videos :-)
Can I get something named after me? My last name is Gunn. I've been following you ever since your first season before you went to Rockdale. Love your videos and you're amazing at doing Let's Plays.
There’s a GTA mod that does a similar thing on PC. I’m not sure if it was part of the latest update on Xbox and PS or if it was part of the Green Cities DLC
ha ha ha ha! I'm going to whip those lazy art kids into shape! Time to graduate and get those graphic designer and video game programmer office jobs! Lots of metro tips! I'm ready to go home and improve all of my mass transit! You're always like "Ok...I think this is a good spot to break today...oh! I just wanted to show this park..." lolol Love it!
Cool! I got my own park!
Btw, the stuff that happens when you get side-tracked is often some of the most informative (and entertaining) in the ep.

I'm learning everyday. Thinking of a small town build in the future. Could be a real challenge though NOT reaching most of the milestones.
Kinda want to move to Howard heights 😂😂😂

I liked the district naming.

You should make a beach along the water.

great episode again :)
Great video, but now I need to redo my metro lol
I’m about a year late, but I’m really enjoying your shows. I play on Switch, so I don’t have access to stop light control vs stop signs. Do you have more traffic tips that don’t involve that? My people all line up in the same lane even 20 intersections away. Great job and thanks for the videos :-)
I watched every single one so far
Needs five Bob's Stores though.
Thx you move the mouse is watch all you vids
Can you have the tram go around the whole town?
Can I get something named after me? My last name is Gunn. I've been following you ever since your first season before you went to Rockdale. Love your videos and you're amazing at doing Let's Plays.
Woo hoo metro 2!
How did you walk around like that on console. Is that from a dlc?
There’s a GTA mod that does a similar thing on PC. I’m not sure if it was part of the latest update on Xbox and PS or if it was part of the Green Cities DLC
It's not DLC, just from the update
You go to your free camera and hold Triangle (or X box equivalent)
congrats too all who got stuff named after them
Can I have tips for my city
Go rails man!!!!!
Why are there so many long comments at the start?
I love the city and this channel but that metro layout is hideous :)
I @ed you on a tweet of a layout I would do haha
Talley district please
mauyaan hills

You're always like "Ok...I think this is a good spot to break today...oh! I just wanted to show this park..." lolol Love it!
I'm easily distracted. I try to ... oh what's that over here.
@@MoveTheMouse Did you link up your international airport to the metro line? I missed that I think. The airport has a built in metro!
Simply Adia I did. It’s part of the outer express loop that touches all other lines.
@@MoveTheMouse best metro that you have built that i've seen in your videos. like your how to and this one
