I hate how he says here are some of Alexis's best moments and then just shows the catfights.... her BEST moments were they way she would fight with her comebacks! Those are the best scenes! YES, I love the catfights too!
So true. I found that disrespectful of her work, especially as those scenes were mainly her stunt double which she politely informed Morgan while thoughtfully crediting her name.

My opinion, is Dame Collins was good at what the Alexis character called for; and Ms. Evans was good at what the Krystle character called for. There was no contest unless it was a catfight. Yes "DYNASTY" became all the more richer because of Joan Collins AND Heather Locklear...but when all was said and done, it was an ensemble. Every character and their portrayer was memorable.

She was correct, it came back but it came back slightly different, basically the same show in modern day.

Unfortunately, there are always some actors who refuse to return. Also, many actors have passed on. Blake Carrington, Ben Carrington (Blake's brother), Dr. Nick Toscanni would be dead.

I get the feeling Joan didnt remember things corectly when it came to those fights....here she said it wasnt her that fell into the pond it was her stund double and most of the fight it wasnt her....years later she said she was the one that fell into that pool and it was a one take and she did most of the scene you can clearly see its me.
Series returning for reunions or rebooting should never recast any character.
It's almost better to explain the characters disappearance than to recast.

Joan is a fabulous actress. Linda is ok but was never the actress Joan is.
Deborah Crossley joan MIGHT be a better actress but Linda is a better human being so in the end Linda truly wins.

I never paid attention to Dynasty when it was on tv and only started doing so recently via video recommendations on the right when I was watching clips of The Big Valley/The Wayward Bus. Linda’s sweet personality has been consistent all through her public life. Joan is undeniably a fascinating woman, but there has always been something a bit abrasive and confrontational about her

Oh, I disagree strongly. It's amazing, it has great writing, great humor, great actors, AND it is UPDATED! It could not have still be stuck in the 80s as some fans wanted it. It has great success on Netflix, it has already been renewed for 5 years I think so it's going great and the fans love it. So....

That’s fine. Anyone can love it if they choose. I’m just disappointed because I’m a huge fan of the original, and watched it religiously back when it was on. I never wanted it to be stuck in the 80’s, I just wanted the characters I fell in love with to be continued in today’s world. And see the characters who were born during that time to be grown adults and could be written as such. (IE:Jeff and Fallon had a son and a daughter. Steven and Sammy Jo had a son, and Adam had a son via a surrogate. And Blake and Krystle had a little girl as well) I wanted the original actors back in the roles they made famous. When I read that they were going to do the show over again, like from the beginning, I was in real hopes that they would FIX the sometimes terrible writing that the original sometimes had.... example: like really really really stupid things like Fallon runs off into the night after remarrying Jeff and crashes her car, and got amnesia,,,and why? Because she still feels guilty about finding her brother Adam attractive?!?!!? OMG!!! THAT’S the best the writers could do?!?!?! SERIOUSLY.! But I digress...) anyway, I just wanted to see the originals. Oh well, I’ll always have the DVD’s!
