As a recent graduate (2019-21) of IRMA, let me clarify a few things -
1. Cut-off is 80 Percentiles for only Agri Graduates. For other streams, the cut-off is 85 Percentile. Interview & Case Discussion round has a significant weightage in the admission process.
2. For Development Sector roles, the average CTC was around 8-9 LPA during our time. There were hardly a few organizations that offered less than 8 LPA. Around 20% of students opt for such roles in CSR/NGO etc.
3. In terms of FMCG/D placement, IRMA is way ahead of all the Baby IIMs and even some new IIMs too. Amul, ITC, Pidilite, Godrej Agrovet, Mother Dairy, Dabur, Adani Wilmar, Cargill, Emami Agro, Crompton, and many other organizations recruit IRMAns in first-line manager roles. The CTC varies between 12-20 LPA. Nestle & Coke also participated in our SIS.
4. Apart from Sales & Marketing, IRMAns are also preferred in NBFC, Fintech, Agri Tech/Agri Startups & some specific areas of the Finance Sector. Last year, ICICI & Axis recruited more than 35 students with an average package of 15+ LPA.
5. During our time, the batch average was around 10.5 LPA due to the pandemic situation. Last year IRMA had really good placement. The average was more than 14 LPA for a batch size of 230+ students. Adding to that, IRMA has one of the best ROI among these 5 colleges.

So I'm a fresher with 10cgpa/92.2/86 in acads with BSc agriculture Hons degree which means academic diversity
Then I also have 7 national gold medals in debate, speeches etc
So can I make in IIM Bangalore with 90 percentile this year being an ews student

Because nowdays only Sales is offered to Bcom, while applying for Finance most of the job requires technical skills like Python, i learned some of them but every other job requires other software like oracle database, SAP etc.
And for the proper Finance they need CA/CS

I wanted to do a bachelor's in finance but for some reason, I ended up doing a bachelor's in advertising. Now I am preparing for CAT and confused about which specialisation to choose. Like I should be doing specialisation in marketing and advertising but somewhere I feel I should do finance coz that was and is interesting for me but since I don't have prior background in finance, I'm doubtful whether I should take this specialization or not.
I even tried to take an internship to figure out whether I like this or not but unfortunately, I couldn't get one.

80 Percentile me NIBM bilkul bhi nhi hoga...Or aprt from that NIBM me cat ka percentage sirf 35% h selection me Academics, Overall profile pr depend krega...and batch size is very low...Don't just influence...ye ek bhi clg 80 pr convert nhi hoga... Rather than apply for nirma, Fore, Welingkar.
