I am a general category student with 10,12 and grad scores of 94,94 and 82. I scored 89 in CAT 23 and converted TAPMI. I graduated in 2022 so reattempting CAT is a no go for me. There is nothing in black and white. IIM Calcutta students, i know, doing MIM from a German University, some opted for PhD outside. A lot of grey area post MBA. Corporate life is not the be all and end all. Relatively speaking MBA should only be done from top notch universities abroad

Hi Abhishek, I have cracked IMT-G Core and will take Finance as my Specialization. My XIMB-BM Interview also went Great and hence expecting to convert it as well. Which one should I choose??. The thing is that XIBM shows its median package as 19L and for IMT its 16.3L, but I noticed that better Finance companies are coming at IMT as compared to XIMB, also XIMB is infamous for inflating placements. I got 93 percentile in CAT this year. I have converted GIM BDA and IMT-G this year.
I am working in MNC having a work-ex of 2 years as Lawyer. Acads- 8/7/7. I am 26.5 years of age right now. Should I go for CAT again to target top IIM or I would be too old, given I will turn 28 in July next year by the time colleges will be allowed as per CAT 2023?

@@anshekhawat88 dropping is a risk only you can decide if it is going to be worth it depending on your situation(financial and family-wise) ofc if you manage to get into old IIMs next year only then it would be worth it
