Just saw Haken tonight. Great show. This particular song is based off the story of The Nightingale. The emperor has the most beautiful singing bird song to him, but was given a mechanical bird full of jewels so did not need the nightingale anymore. Then the fake bird breaks and the emperor falls ill. Then the nightingale returns and the emperor’s health returns again.

Possibly my favourite track on Fauna. It's so emotive and driving, and tells the story beautifully.
