i've got a theory, I think that the the reason how wailord can breed with skitty is that pokemon shrink themselves to fit into smaller holes and that the reason we can capture pokemon is that they want to do it with anything they possibly can to pass on their genetics as easy as possible.

cute charm only forces the opposite gender to be more likely you don't HAVE to go for sylveon specifically to get cute charm
