- Shinshindo is a popular bakery in Kyoto, especially popular amongst the locals. You can choose from a variety of dishes, but we decided to stick to breads.

Yes raisins bread would be my favorite enjoy your meal 😘❤️😍🤩🥰💯🌈🙏
Delicious milk tea 2 sugars 🫶😁
I've recently enjoyed making Japanese corn soup (pureed) and having a cup for breakfast with a piece of herb french bread for dipping. So good. One of my favorite breakfasts.
That bakery 🥯🧁 looks good. The food looks so yummy and delicious 🤤
Bread, glorious bread! 😊 The raisin bread was calling me, and the maple French toast was a close second. Yum! I generally don't eat breakfast, but if I do it's usually sautéed vegetables. Is that what I _really_ want, though?? Heck no!! I want pancakes or raisin bread toast with milk tea. 😂
Great choices of breads! Just add coffee!
Yomogi bread sounds interesting…gotta try it! I love yomogi mochi.
Looks dang good.
Tasty looking 🥖 selection. Loved the curry bread with pickles. 🤤😀👍
That's a joy to see, we went there every morning on our vacation in Kyoto (2015), as we were staying at the Royal Park Hotel, right next door! 🙂 The foccaccia in particular was really good!
This place is a good example of a fairly common thing in Japan. In Tokyo there are many great bakeries that serve breakfast pastries like the ones shown here. Tokyo and Paris are the two best places in the world to get breakfast pastry.
👀Always enjoy your food adventures throughout Japan-STAY SAFE wherever your appetite takes you!!!👏🤙⚡️
Had a wonderful time in Kyoto and Osaka last time i visited, absolutely worth the trip from Tokyo and back! A different atmosphere but 100% worth every second. Just wish i could have stayed for a 100 years, Japan is just the best place there is!
Thanks for saying hi at the Airport when i arrived, you were the last people i thought id meet! Such nice people these youtubers!
Bread/rolls looks delicious! When I lived in California, my daily breakfast would be coffee with a bagel or piece of fruit on the commuter train to work. . Maybe twice a month, I would eat a standard breakfast of eggs/sausage/hash brown potatoes/toast with coffee.
If I'm on vacation, I'm gonna be craving sweet bread.
I miss Shinsindo!!! 😢
Those croquettes looked good. At the beginning.
We have many similar bakeries in Southern California. Most Asian bakeries have French influence.
My favorite breakfast is a croissant with coffee but there are only a couple places with a really good croissant. Luckily one of them also sells this miraculous thing called bakery chocolates, truffles with the most decadent fillings you've ever tasted! Only found in the best french bakeries.
I love the savoury bread you can get in Japan! Garlic bread, curry pan, spaghetti bun, pizza bread, crab meat, 5 cheeses etcetc😍🤤😋 Luckily I didn't gain any weight, the enormous amount of delicious food I shoved in my mouth while in Japan some years ago....😅 because we walked a daily 20km a day in 3 weeks. Just kept eating and walking at the same time hahaha
Hello, Shinichi, i love bread so much i can eat it, instead of a meal. The video just teased my taste buds (loved it) Have a beautiful day
Thank you 🙏
Very positive ❣️💞❤️♥️💕❣️❤️🙏❣️💞
I eat scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast.
Yummy bread video Shinichi, but I was waiting for you to eat the maple french toast cause it sounded delicious and I wanted to know if it was good... I guess I'll never know.🤔😆
👌🏻👍🏻

I find it weird that tea is included with the "continental beakfast"; most mainland Europeans are coffee drinkers. Tea is more typical of the British Isles, the Netherlands, and the former Soviet Union (except maybe the Baltics).
And now reconsider which country visited Japan first, leaving a big influence ;)
I bet coffee is also included with continental breakfast.
You get asked wether you want tea or coffee they offer both all over Europe. I have neither. Coffee is huge in the UK too for breakfast as well.
sad
Its all carbs dude. Thats not healthy
You lost me with the milk in your tea. Tea, like coffee should be consumed without anything added. But, that's my choice. The breads looked like Paris. For breakfast, I have whole milk Greek yogurt with berry coulis, and cereal. I really enjoy your videos.
Most Britons, Scots, and Irish have milk in their tea, AFAIK.

Yes, I am well aware. I've been there and getting a cup of tea without milk and sugar can be a challenge!
