its a great shame that this wonderful series has yet to be released on dvd, Col'n still resonates as well as he did way back when...best of luck with organising this @stigwemyss, that'd be a worthy addition to the collection......even better if there could be a reunion or a feature film :-)
I'll pay for it too, Stig. Through the nose if I have to. I had most of the episodes on VHS, but of course as happens with VHS tapes they deteriorate or get thrown out. It still remains the best TV show in Australian TV history. Even when it was just Col'n and Mrs Fuller it was still brilliant, I wasn't sure they could pull it off without the Michael Preeble character but they did it brilliantly.
They need this on DVD or iTunes or something that can allow fans to buy it!!! I mean I love these episodes but I wonder if there is like a whole series out there.
Hey Stig, Just watched end of episodes 1 and 2. Always enjoyed series. (Last saw you briefly when a few of us did a voice over session for Gold 104 several years back. - Greg Newman.)
I remember when this first came out, I wasn't born yet but I watched it when I grew up a bit later on after it came on tv in New Zealand. I didn't like it at the time but it was my favorite australian show except for Blue Healers. I like Colin but I felt sorry about that lady who kept harassing him. Not his Mum but that other lady. Not the flatmate the other one. The one with the short fuse.
"Oh sorry I must have the wrong house" "Yes, I think you have" "Yeah and don't come back here otherwise you'll have me and these two fists of steel to deal with" "Who was that Colin?" "Ohh, no one"
Hey Wang, love that you love. Stay with me, I am seriously working on getting it released as a DVD box set. I promise to let everyone know as soon as there is any news.
hi Stig I hope so!!!!! this was when tv was great not the crap they peddle as entertainment these days Kym and others from the comedy company actually have amazing talent !!!!! hope to see all those 'characters' again best wishes to all Lisa
yes but that was part of the sketch show on the comedy company. Kim took the character into a three demential space with this show, which is a tribute to his brilliance. I was an actor in his show but I feel like people want more. Should I post more?
This show has aged so well. Im going to get my boys to watch it!
I loved this show. Comedy isn’t the same anymore.
This was a great show! They don't make them like this anymore.
