    I don't know much about my grandad's brother, but that he was in the royal corps of signals and died in December of 1941. His life was always a mystery to me. Thank you for uploading this footage so can see what it was like in the signals in ww2

      Might have been artillery shelling on his position. That seems to be the main threat against signal operators
