I just can’t hate Jeanette. She was also a pawn in the Obelia family drama. Both her and Athy, actually. They’re just two cousins who are wrapped up in conspiracy and all they want is to have a happy relationship with each other! That fact isn’t even one sided. Athy also wants to hang out with Jeannette, she’s just being careful since she’s scared. Remember, the novel has changed course. There are different characters coming and going. She, as a viewer of the Lovely Princess, does not know what will happen now that she’s changed the story’s script. I truly hope that both of these girls will be able to get what they deserve(and they deserve everything)in the end. I just hope that there isn’t a point that we have to choose whos side to be on.

At first I felt sorry for Jeanette, but after knowing EVERYTHING she did in her first life, she earned my hatred. For example: in fact in the book "lovely princess" Jeanette knows that Claude is not her father, she knows that he murdered them and she thinks to take revenge with that. In fact, her aunt is the one who tells her to pretend to pass out at the banquet after having tea to frame Athanasia. This is what causes his death. Also, there are some chapters in the novel where Claud's thoughts are shown, how he suffers the first time Atthy is in danger, when he almost drowns, at the dance, MANY things are missing. All this comes in the novel, if we go to the web novel, there are some chapters that talk about Diana and Claud's past, how they met and how death and the revolution really were. Besides that Arthenuritas (I don't remember if Claud's brother was called that) was NEVER good to him, that's something Spoon put into the manga. The light novel changes a lot, with the physics and the web novel, as well as the truth behind the reincarnation of Atthy.
tbh i feel so bad for jennette. she's a pawn in everyone's games (even athy, somewhat) when all she wants is a family because god knows not even ijekiel would give her that. her environment raised her and i honestly wish she would get the same treatment psyche from your throne did, both regarding her stance in the fandom and how her story will play out. i just want the best for her tbh.
I wish Athy will be the one who will make Jeanette feel that she's loved or perhaps important. Or someone not evil will do. Just please someone give Jeanette who sees her as the protagonist instead of being evil. Because I believe that will save her from being blackened. I don't really care if Jen turned into a villainess. It's better to be a villainess you don't have to be this miss perfect. It's funny that when people are given one sided perspective they immediately think that it's the right one. Both are naive the difference is Athy is older ( A lot older, with a lot of experience) and she has literally everything, while on the other hand a child starting to see the world and the reality. I wonder what we would've felt if the manhwa gave us Jen's perspective first instead of Athy's.
People keep on blaming Jennette for Athy's hardship to the point of hate sometimes when it's not even her fault. She's a kept bird, where her every move is monitored, with literally nothing in her name, and her only wish is to have a real family and live with them in harmony. I can only hope she'll get her happy ending as well by the end of the series, not abandoned just to make the MC happy like in some other series. Amen.
If you read the ln though jeanette deserves all the hatred because if you know what she did on her first life it was all her doing why athy was killed it was all her plot

I love Jeanette. Her intentions have always been pure towards Athy, and she just wants to get along with her sister. More than she wants to get along with her 'father'. I love all her moments with Athy. Sure, she unintentionally tends to make Athy become sad (which triggers Athy fans)... but that's not really Jeanette's doing - she is one of the victims in the series. It's all Anastasius's fault. I don't want Jeanette to end up as she did in Novel, even though it was supposedly a happy one. I want her to reunite with her real father and change him with her delightfully sweet persona.
i honestly don't understand why everyone hates jenette, sure in the old timeline she had it better off (but even then she was kind and befriended athanasia), but in the timeline right now??? she has nothing, no family, claude couldn't give a shit about her, and even then she is kind and happy and loves athanasia. heck, even ijekiel is starting to be rude to her - finding out that claude isn't even her dad might be the thing to make her snap

This is mentioned in both manga and wattpad. It annoys me how people call her selfish and lucky while she is neither. I hope the ending of the webtoon is her finding new friends and being free to explore the world. Athy at least cares for her now as a friend but Jennette can do better than that. Regret message takes place around 2 years after the Lucifenian revolution and Allen’s(Len)death after Rilliane collapsed and was saved by Clarith. Rilliane became a nun known as Rin in Elphegort. She confessed her sins but Clarith overheard it and found out she’s actually Rilliane, the person who started the Elphegort hunt to kill Michaela(Miku) (her only friend). When she sent the glass bottle to sea she was nearly killed by Clarith out of revenge (and influence of Adam pretending to be Michaela) but luckily the spirit of Allen stopped her and only cut her hair. They became close afterwards, especially when Germaine was next door and Clarith realised Rilliane was going to bump into Germaine(Meiko) and tried to avoid it but it happened anyways. I honestly feel bad for Jeannette. She was born as an orphan pretty much. She was raised to believe that she was the daughter of Claude. And used her kindness to win his heart and become the heir to the throne. She even got a fiance who's family has "supported" her for all of her life. But it cost Athy's life. In this timeline she has the same situation. I can see wy people hate Jeannette, I myself even found a time where I hated her. But that's what the author wants us to believe. She's painted as the main antagonist, when really it was those her raised her. They were against Athy and wanted power. Lord Alpheus (or something I can't spell his name) used the poor girl as his pawn to get closer to the royal family. Jeannette is an obstacle for those who love Athy, something that can be used against her. Jeannette is very naive and kind of dumb, unlike Athy. All she wants is to be with her family, but she doesn't understand how dangerous royal life can be. She doesn't even know she isn't Claude's daughter. Claude may or may not know that the poor girl his daughter. And now that he is getting fond of Athy again, Jeanette being revealed is a dangerous thing. She doesn't even want the throne, but her position is so important. And she's too vulnerable, which is why Athy in the first timeline probably helped her. People will use her once they realize how trusting and weak this child is. And I think only after Athy's death in the first timeline did she start to get smarter, and began to blame herself. In the end, I pity her. And I hope she soon learns the truth and can live happily with her uncle and cousin, just as she intended to. Um, if you made it this far, thank you for reading my rant! I just needed to get this all off of my chest.
But in the novel, in the first timeline Jeanette is a part of the plan for framing Athanasia and causing her death, so many things from the novel was not added to the manhwa and the manhwa is changing

Honestly I don't hate Jennette, it's not her fault that athy facing hardship, maybe she could do something in athy first live to save her, but she was lost.. she didn't know what she should do. To me I think it's just that both of them face an hardship, but in the first live Jennette got 'lucky' and have things easier but in the third live athy is the one who has it 'easier', but that doesn't matter cause in both live they love each other and will always trust in each other. I don't want to see athy getting hurt but that doesn't mean Jennette should instead.

Guys, not everyone is a manhwa only reader. The novel and manhwa are different. The novel had Jeanette as a villain which is why people hate her. I understand the manhwa portrays her as an innocent, kind girl and while I may not love her, I don't hate her either. I do dislike her a bit but I think its natural because I already had a bad opinion of her from novel spoilers that even if she did nothing in the manhwa, it prevented me from loving her.

Honestly I understand how Athy feel like she was abandons and thrown away by her father because he like Jeanette more and she is afraid of being abandoned being abandoned again by her father. Jeanette have everything she wanted a connection with her father and Athy get kill in her first life. It naturally for her to hate Jeanette. But at the same time it not Jeanette fault either. There are different characters coming and going. She, as a viewer of the Lovely Princess, does not know what will happen now that she’s changed the story’s script.
I truly hope that both of these girls will be able to get what they deserve(and they deserve everything)in the end. I just hope that there isn’t a point that we have to choose whos side to be on.

At first I felt sorry for Jeanette, but after knowing EVERYTHING she did in her first life, she earned my hatred.
For example:
in fact in the book "lovely princess" Jeanette knows that Claude is not her father, she knows that he murdered them and she thinks to take revenge with that.
In fact, her aunt is the one who tells her to pretend to pass out at the banquet after having tea to frame Athanasia. This is what causes his death.
All of this happens in Athanasia's first life, where she dies.
(Everything I say is based on what I read from the novel, before they removed the page where I read it -pain- and well,) this does not happen in the manga since, LITERALLY, it is taking a totally different route.
For example, Claude must have already recovered his memories thanks to the branch of the tree of life that Lucas also has, it is assumed that when he returns it is Athanasia's birthday.
Also, there are some chapters in the novel where Claud's thoughts are shown, how he suffers the first time Atthy is in danger, when he almost drowns, at the dance, MANY things are missing.
All this comes in the novel, if we go to the web novel, there are some chapters that talk about Diana and Claud's past, how they met and how death and the revolution really were.
Besides that Arthenuritas (I don't remember if Claud's brother was called that) was NEVER good to him, that's something Spoon put into the manga.
The light novel changes a lot, with the physics and the web novel, as well as the truth behind the reincarnation of Atthy.
tbh i feel so bad for jennette. she's a pawn in everyone's games (even athy, somewhat) when all she wants is a family because god knows not even ijekiel would give her that. her environment raised her and i honestly wish she would get the same treatment psyche from your throne did, both regarding her stance in the fandom and how her story will play out. i just want the best for her tbh.

I don't really care if Jen turned into a villainess. It's better to be a villainess you don't have to be this miss perfect. It's funny that when people are given one sided perspective they immediately think that it's the right one. Both are naive the difference is Athy is older ( A lot older, with a lot of experience) and she has literally everything, while on the other hand a child starting to see the world and the reality. I wonder what we would've felt if the manhwa gave us Jen's perspective first instead of Athy's.

People keep on blaming Jennette for Athy's hardship to the point of hate sometimes when it's not even her fault. She's a kept bird, where her every move is monitored, with literally nothing in her name, and her only wish is to have a real family and live with them in harmony. I can only hope she'll get her happy ending as well by the end of the series, not abandoned just to make the MC happy like in some other series. Amen.

I love Jeanette. Her intentions have always been pure towards Athy, and she just wants to get along with her sister. More than she wants to get along with her 'father'. I love all her moments with Athy. Sure, she unintentionally tends to make Athy become sad (which triggers Athy fans)... but that's not really Jeanette's doing - she is one of the victims in the series. It's all Anastasius's fault. I don't want Jeanette to end up as she did in Novel, even though it was supposedly a happy one. I want her to reunite with her real father and change him with her delightfully sweet persona.

I hope the ending of the webtoon is her finding new friends and being free to explore the world. Athy at least cares for her now as a friend but Jennette can do better than that. 'The story of evil' is actually also a part of a bigger series of song, called 'the evillious chronicle'. Regret message takes place around 2 years after the Lucifenian revolution and Allen’s(Len)death after Rilliane collapsed and was saved by Clarith. Rilliane became a nun known as Rin in Elphegort. She confessed her sins but Clarith overheard it and found out she’s actually Rilliane, the person who started the Elphegort hunt to kill Michaela(Miku) (her only friend). When she sent the glass bottle to sea she was nearly killed by Clarith out of revenge (and influence of Adam pretending to be Michaela) but luckily the spirit of Allen stopped her and only cut her hair. They became close afterwards, especially when Germaine was next door and Clarith realised Rilliane was going to bump into Germaine(Meiko) and tried to avoid it but it happened anyways. (Germaine found out Rin was Rilliane and they made peace). There’s more to it later on with Kyle Marlon, Ney, Prim Marlon and Abyss IR/Irina Clockworker.

I honestly feel bad for Jeannette. She was born as an orphan pretty much. She was raised to believe that she was the daughter of Claude. And used her kindness to win his heart and become the heir to the throne. She even got a fiance who's family has "supported" her for all of her life. But it cost Athy's life. In this timeline she has the same situation. I can see wy people hate Jeannette, I myself even found a time where I hated her. But that's what the author wants us to believe. She's painted as the main antagonist, when really it was those her raised her. They were against Athy and wanted power. Lord Alpheus (or something I can't spell his name) used the poor girl as his pawn to get closer to the royal family. Jeannette is an obstacle for those who love Athy, something that can be used against her. Jeannette is very naive and kind of dumb, unlike Athy. All she wants is to be with her family, but she doesn't understand how dangerous royal life can be. She doesn't even know she isn't Claude's daughter. Claude may or may not know that the poor girl his daughter. And now that he is getting fond of Athy again, Jeanette being revealed is a dangerous thing. She doesn't even want the throne, but her position is so important. And she's too vulnerable, which is why Athy in the first timeline probably helped her. People will use her once they realize how trusting and weak this child is. And I think only after Athy's death in the first timeline did she start to get smarter, and began to blame herself. In the end, I pity her. And I hope she soon learns the truth and can live happily with her uncle and cousin, just as she intended to.

Honestly I don't hate Jennette, it's not her fault that athy facing hardship, maybe she could do something in athy first live to save her, but she was lost.. she didn't know what she should do. To me I think it's just that both of them face an hardship, but in the first live Jennette got 'lucky' and have things easier but in the third live athy is the one who has it 'easier', but that doesn't matter cause in both live they love each other and will always trust in each other. I don't want to see athy getting hurt but that doesn't mean Jennette should instead.

😂😂😂 for me they changed so many things in the Manhwa so, Jeanette is not as sweet in the novel like the manhwa she is also a part of the plan to frame Athanasia in the first timeline, many people are saying she's manipulated but, it was also her choice wether she would take part in their evil plan, though it was the adults that manipulated her, it was her choice to agree or not to the plan, like in the first timeline Ijekiel liked Athanasia but she didn't give them chance to meet, even though she's not as evil in the Manhwa, even in the Manhwa what bothers me is that she didn't give athy any chance to spend time with her father I don't like Jeanette this is my personal opinion though
I ship it after i know i love yuri. But in the manhwa, the lgbt relationship didn't develop. Even there's one, i want a cute noble protagonist like beware of the villainess, turn out it was straight :( and this is my hope!

Guys, not everyone is a manhwa only reader. The novel and manhwa are different. The novel had Jeanette as a villain which is why people hate her. I understand the manhwa portrays her as an innocent, kind girl and while I may not love her, I don't hate her either. I do dislike her a bit but I think its natural because I already had a bad opinion of her from novel spoilers that even if she did nothing in the manhwa, it prevented me from loving her.

Honestly I understand how Athy feel like she was abandons and thrown away by her father because he like Jeanette more and she is afraid of being abandoned being abandoned again by her father. Jeanette have everything she wanted a connection with her father and Athy get kill in her first life. It naturally for her to hate Jeanette. But at the same time it not Jeanette fault either. Either way it make sense why from both perspective. Jeanette just wanted a family. Athy just want to live and be with her father. It not like she actively trying to ruin Jeanette life.

No hate o Athy but if you can understand why Athy misunderstood that scene, you should understand why Jeanette is in there. Besides Claude wasn't even looking at Jeanette.
